Hu Xiaoyue felt the air more chilly and dangerous, he slowly raised up his head to see Yanzhi looking at him with dangerous eyes and if looks could kill he’d probably perish without even knowing how.

"Master that child is really inn..." he stopped in his words his eyes complicated. Yanzhi continued to stare at him but his grip on Shan Xing’s neck never loosen and neither did it tighten. It was as if he was giving Hu Xiaoyue a little time to explain himself before the child’s airway would be crushed, for the child to be left to live it seemed that it all depended on Hu Xiaoyue’s explanation.

Hu Xiaoyue noticed that too, so he quickly composed his words in his mind and relayed to him. "Master I owe him my life. He’s not the reason why I am this way, although he saved me for this purpose but I still owe him my life and this is my way of repaying him. "Gratitude?" Yanzhi sneered and tsked as he threw the body in his hands away. Shan Xing gasped desperately and breathing heavily. Hu Xiaoyue wanted to go over to Shan Xing and see how he was doing but he didn’t dare to, he knew that if he really took such action Yanzhi will really kill Shan Xing. "Get out of here and never look for me again!" Hu Xiaoyue said his words devoid of warmth. Shan Xing’s head was mushy and couldn’t tell reality, he desperately wanted to get away from Yanzhi. He scurried out of there in a hurry without looking back and disappeared from there.

"You’ve become unsightly." Yanzhi sneered and was disgusted. But he still took out some bottles from his space and threw them at him, looking at Hu Xiaoyue who looked like he would crumble completely at any minute he couldn’t help but be angry again and was in a little complicated mood. Yanzhi was a really cold person who wouldn’t normally bother about this, but the one in front of him was a demonic beast who should be said was half raised by him. He had heard his continuous desperate prayers to him for a while now, but he never answered because he had always believed that the strong eat the weak and that has always been how demonic beasts and cultivators lived. Since then it has always been that way, the strong survive and the weak is eaten. Demonic beasts in the fight of strength were naturally stronger but when it came to schemes and wits they were weak in that aspects. Demonic beasts will only solve their problems in the fights of power and strength, they did not have that scheming senses of the humans.

For a moment Yanzhi lamented on a lot of things. Hu Xiaoyue who took all the pills thrown to him felt his body which he had thought would never heal again slowly became alive. He was a little shock, he had always revered Yanzhi as a god that could create a lot of miracles, but he couldn’t even begin to fathom Yanzhi’s strength at all. His eyes which looked to be dead had a little light in them. He wasn’t an ungrateful person who would rather blame Yanzhi for not coming early to save his clansmen. Yanzhi didn’t owe him anything, he was very aware of that, yet Yanzhi was the one who helped him to be who he was. And his fall was of his own, if he just hadn’t gotten involved with the humans then what happened wouldn’t have happened.

"You are weak to fall this way in the hands of those insignificant humans." Yanzhi’s words were like daggers cutting at his heart. But Hu Xiaoyue couldn’t refute his words. Being in the presence of Yanzhi showed his weakness and grievance which he had been holding for long were revealed as his eyes turned red and his tears fell. Hu Xiaoyue quickly told Yanzhi about the events which had took place and how he ended up like this. After listening Yanzhi sneered angrily "humans have their own lives and beasts have theirs. Why involve yourself with humans?" Hu Xiaoyue was quiet as he was scolded and listened to lessons from Yanzhi.

Yanzhi had a headache, he only came to see what was wrong with Hu Xiaoyue who prayed desperately to him. But after listening to the whole story he didn’t think it was best to leave Hu Xiaoyue on his own. The enlightened beasts here are ignorant of the teachings in the cultivation world! Lijiu followed his senses and find all presence felt. Without talking any nonsense with any of them and went on killing spree. It was chaos and the quiet hill was turned into a hellish place single handedly by Lijiu. Hu Qiqi following behind him was just like him, killing without without feeling any psychological pressure. Her hate for the people who harmed her clan was too great for her to look away and forgive them, she wasn’t kind like her clan chief and would seek revenge. Lijiu who previously thought that she would hold him back began to see her in a different way, he no longer mind her tagging along.

The people sent after Hu Xiaoyue fell group by group in the hands of Lijiu and Hu Qiqi. The both of them were naturally strong and equipped with powerful weapons and other resources. While their opponents were weaker than them and the weapons equipped were much weaker too.

After dealing with the current group they moved on to find the next. Finding the next group Lijiu sensed that they seemed to be a little stronger than the previous ones. When they came face to face the group had shocked looks. Lijiu saw the stunned expressions of some of them but he was sure he didn’t know them and had never met them. Because of the mystery behind their births their parents told them not to appear too much in the eyes of people, so apart from the elders and core people of the sect no one else knew that Xiao Ling had gotten pregnant and even given birth, because even the doctor who they had consulted had long had his memory of that wiped out.

"TianXin sect master!" one of them exclaimed bringing Lijiu out of his thoughts.

That’s not him, I’ve seen TianXin sect master up close and that’s not him." the one who spoke now seemed to be the leader of the group and if Xiao Ling and Yanzhi were to see him they’d recognize him as the leader of a group who had gone into the secret realm all the times it had opened. "This one is like a younger version of TianXin sect master. He can’t be a family member because we’ve investigated all about their family. He can only be child of TianXin sect master, there’s no doubt!" he said affirmatively. "But what are they doing here?" "It can’t be..." they stared suspiciously at Lijiu and when they saw Hu Qiqi revealed herself from behind him their eyes widened. "It’s you!" the leader pointed in disbelieve "shouldn’t you be dead?"

They were not the only ones who recognized people. Hu Qiqi also recognized someone amongst them making her almost think that her eyes were playing tricks on her. Looking carefully at the man who seemed to be hiding from her eyes and was in between the group her eyes shrank dangerously. "Brother Ze! You...how come you’re with them?" she asked doubtfully. Looking at him looking very well taken care of and his bright red robes matching beautiful with his red hair she felt palpilations in her heart.

"You know him?" Lijiu asked seeing her with red eyes and staring at the red haired man with the humans. Lijiu had long smelled him and he was able to tell that he wasn’t a human, but he didn’t care. The man was a fox but it didn’t mean he was associated with Hu Qiqi since he was definitely on the side of those people. Once they hatched they had received ancestral knowledge passed on to them, so he knows they are a lot of demonic beasts in the world and same species doesn’t actually means that their from the same side. Some are contract beasts of human cultivators and many more.

"En. Hu Ze, he’s from our clan and was captured together with us." she nodded and said to Lijiu. Lijiu frowned inexplicably thinking about something. The same thought had crossed her mind but she just didn’t want to believe it and she didn’t want to believe that what had happened that time was orchestrated by him.

Lijiu listening to them discussed no longer cared, they were about to be killed anyway and finding about about his identity will just grant them a quick death. He could tell that his previous actions of fighting empty handed will be a waste of time against these people. The two golden rings on his wrists glowed and emitted golden halo as they multiplied to ten, five on each wrist.

The groups eyes shrank and and went on full guard. Knowing that the opponents were from TianXin sect where better resources and weapons were abundant they felt really bad.

Lijiu made an action to attack, Hu Ze and the leader didn’t even have thoughts about fighting and took off at once fleeing. One wanted to go back and report to his master about TianXin sect’s involvement and the other just wanted to flee for his life thinking that he didn’t sign up for fighting against someone strong who gave him shivers from just a look. Beast’s senses were strong and the strong coercion which was hidden was still felt strongly by him.

Seeing the two fleeing Lijiu looked away from the rest who stood to fight and went after Hu Ze first. In just a move Hu Ze was knocked over by him and was held in place with pressure "hold him down." he said to Hu Qiqi and went to deal with the others. A strong force was produce as he clashed the rings together sweeping over all of his opponents at once, their lives was ended just like without even knowing how it all happened. Lijiu didn’t stay still and turned to go after the leader.

"Let him go." Yanzhi’s voice sounded. Turning back to Yanzhi, Lijiu showed a little stunned expression and as if realizing what Yanzhi meant he turned and cup respectfully. "Okay. Father!"
