In a cave, a red haired man laid sickly on the stone bed. His face sunken without colour, his lips terrifyingly pale and his lashes fluttering. His forehead was covered in sweat beads and on his face one could see that he was in so much pain as his lashes fluttering and his eyes wanting to open. He was trembling and muttering something underneath his breath consistently as if in the state of dream but what he was muttering couldn’t be heard at all.

He shot his eyes seemed to weigh on him very heavily opened and looked to his side alerted, he was startled seeing someone by his side but soon regained his composure and his already dull eyes looked even more dulled showing no emotions and looking as if they were dead. Looking at the young monk in monk’s robes who was squatting beside him and looking to him with burning eyes of lust, even though the red haired man wanted to be disgusted he couldn’t be at all. It was as if his senses had died and he looked very broken with no care for anything. He looked to be waiting for death and nothing more.

This man was the chief of the Red Fox Clan and went by the name Hu Xiaoyue. He used to be with ethereal beauty that whoever saw him would be enchanted by his beauty. Men, women and ger were all crazy for him. When in his presence it was as if in the presence of a majestic being. He was both feared and admired but most importantly he was kind-hearted whether to the monster clan or human clan. But now looking at him one wouldn’t even be able to recognize him as the ethereal beauty he was once used to be call. He looked so broken with no chance of repair, sickly and looked to be at death’s door. He lost his whole clan and lost himself and all he sought now was his demise. He had self destruct his beast core which those who made him this way sought out badly but because he was very weak and had no strength he couldn’t completely self destruct and was saved by this little monk beside him.

He should be thankful to be saved but the more reason he couldn’t be thankful. This little monk named Shan Xing didn’t save him out of kindness at all but he saved him for his body, this body which already was worn out after being used over and over again. It was long broken and slowly crumbling yet still this monk also sought and salivated after it.

"Xiao Xing you’re back..." his hoarse voice sounded indifferently and was devoid of any warmth.

"Brother Hu! Look what I’ve got back, I’ll cook it for you to eat in a while." Shan Xing smiled brightly showing him the fat hare in hand. Hu Xiaoyue watched him quietly not saying whether he heard him or not, his eyes blank and dead.

"How’s the situation outside?" he asked turning his eyes away. "It’s the usual, there are still a lot of people pursuing brother Hu. They haven’t given up yet." he answered seriously. "But brother Hu do not be afraid for I’m here, I will protect you!" Shan Xing solemnly promised and was smiling foolishly. Hu Xiaoyue turned to look at him for a moment and turned back again.

"En." he hummed nonchalantly and didn’t want to say anything again. After a while he still felt Shan Xing squatting beside him and lot leaving. He showed a self-deprecating smile which was meant for himself. Already knowing what the child next to him wanted he still went on to ask mockingly "why is Xiao Xing still here and not leaving to cook?"

Shan Xing scratch his bald head shyly "brother Hu I miss you!" said shyly with his eyes roaming on Hu Xiaoyue’s body and salivating looking like a starving beast staring at it’s prey.

"En." Hu Xiaoyue turned to him staring for a while and hummed, he said nothing and continued to look at the child who had been messing around with his crumbling body for more than two months now. He waited for the child to continue with his words, it had been like that. He would not resist and let the child do whatever he wanted with his already broken down body, because he couldn’t resist even if he wanted to. In his situation now the only thing he does was continue to lay there, at most he could stand up and walk for only about ten steps before his body gives away.

"Brother Hu I want to do that with you." his eyes like a ferocious beasts.

"Suit yourself..." Hu Xiaoyue didn’t want to bother with him, he was already tired and sleepy. The sooner the child vented on himself the early he’s left alone to sleep. And anyway this would just be used as means for repaying him and continuously taking care of him. Although the main reason the child saved him when he fell off the cliff was because of this, but what can he do? Without the child he would have met his end already. Although he wanted nothing more than to disappear from the world, but he still held some hope, hope that that person will come, but he was just unsure.

Shan Xing’s eyes sparkled brightly thinking Hu Xiaoyue also liked doing that with him, he climbed on the stone bed. He looked to be in a hurry but he actions were also gentle and careful fearing to break the person under him who looked so much like a porcelain doll. "Brother Hu I’ll be gentle okay, don’t worry I won’t treat you badly like head monk and those sect masters." he said coaxingly whether he was assuring himself or the person under him who’s eyes were slowly becoming heavier and heavier. After getting undress he penetrated Hu Xiaoyue after loosing him with some oil, a silent tear fell out from the corner of his eyes and he muffled holding back the painful moan.

.....

In the air Yanzhi came to a stop, looking down at the mountain his sharp senses spread out. He instant frowned inexplicably and his eyes glowed colourfully. Without saying anything he let go of himself and descended slowly. Once his leg touched the ground he turned to Lijiu and the fox girl who’s name was Hu Qiqi.

"Take care of things here." he said to Lijiu. They could sense a lot of presence here and it seemed those presence were in search of something or someone. Yanzhi didn’t need too think much because it was very clear what they were searching for. Since arriving to the imperial city they’ve noticed that something was very wrong. But because they were here for a purpose Yanzhi didn’t care about anything else and just wanted to get done with his things and go back to his little wife.

"Okay." Lijiu simple said and cupped respectfully intending to walk away. "Take her with you." he walked away after leaving these words. Hi Qiqi looked at his retreating back with a complicated look, she wanted to follow him to find her chief but she also knew not to go against his order. Lijiu also moved and didn’t intend to mind her, she could follow or not, it was her choice. He was told to only take her along, no one said anything about protecting or babysitting.

Yanzhi walked faster but also gracefully following the smell in the air. Walking for a while he came to stop at a very secluded cave surrounding by weeds. The cave was in a very hidden place, it was a very good hiding place that would be very hard to find. Yanzhi walked to the entrance of the cave, his eyes changed and turning into snake-like ones with glowing colourful slits. One look at him and it could be seen that he looked be angry, adding to the irritating smell in the air his eyes continued to glowed even more. He waved his hand and instantly the smell dissipated completely from the air. He took quick steps into the cave with so many smaller caves in it. With just a glance he found the right cave and walked in, after walking for a bit he came to the cave which emitted the smell and he cleared the smell from the air. He took slow steady steps into the cave, his steps seemed leisurely but heavy. Cold air emitting from him.

Walking into the cave the scene that met him drove his anger which was threatening to bust out soaring higher. Staring dangerous at the monk who was dressing up and the haggard person on the stone bed he sneered with disgust.

The two noticed the terrifying presence in the cave. They turned sharply and alerted. ’When did this person come in? He is dangerous!’ they both thought at the same time. Dragging his body up from the bed Hu Xiaoyue stood up trembling.

"You prayed to me to come and see this?" Yanzhi asked, with just one sentence from him they felt terrifying pressure.

Shan Xing gritted his teeth taking out the fangtian ji spear (spear with two crescent blades) from his storage bag he charged forward to Yanzhi. With a sword qi materialized on his hand he cut the spear into two. Looking at the spear which was easily cut into two like tofu Shan Xing’s eyes shrank and was terrified on spot. He suddenly felt the gravity changed and before he noticed he found himself in Yanzhi’s hand as his neck was being squeezed.

Hu Xiaoyue came back to his senses hearing the breathless grunt of Shan Xing, with a thud he quickly got down and kowtowed. "Xiaoyue pleads with master to please spare the ignorant child. Xiaoyue has made a mistake and showed master something embarrassing." there was tears of grievance in his eyes. His voice choked and broke, but one could hear the joy in them and the hope in his eyes.

Yanzhi turned his attention onto him, his eyes threatening.
