Chapter 632: Chapter 632: Seems Like Can’t Beat
A person also swam over and almost touched the lifeboat, but felt his ankle tighten. He was then whisked away by a rampaging force, leaving him to shout out in desperation.
"Oh my God!" Su Hui glanced and saw several Wandering Sea Ghosts swimming over, and even under the lifeboat, some were ready to overturn the boat. If they fell into the sea, they would be utterly doomed.
Having no other option, Su Hui and Hai exchanged glances. They both took out their electric batons and, without any further thoughts, plunged them into the seawater.
The Wandering Sea Ghosts that had already materialized shouted and twitched wildly in the sea as the electric current ran through them, and those below the surface waiting to ambush the lifeboat did not fare any better.
Temporarily averting the crisis, Leng Le and Jie took charge of rowing the boat while Su Hui and Hai intermittently shocked the water with electricity to ensure that no Wandering Sea Ghosts could get close.
At this moment, the chaos aboard the Lengbing Ocean Shipping Company’s cargo ship and the desperate cries from the sea shocked everyone, making them shudder.
"Hurry, even faster!" Everyone silently cheered on Su Hui, Hai, Leng Le and Jie.
Gu Ling’s attention was all on the large wooden ship where the situation was no less intense. He watched as Lin Xi was kicked into the air by Lisa, unable to stand up.
"Impossible, your power is supposed to neutralize ordinary magic damage." Lin Xi was taken aback by Lisa’s unique ability, making her own seem useless.
"Of course!" Lisa snorted coldly and rapidly advanced.
Feeling imminent danger, Lin Xi urgently grabbed onto Gu Fan’s arm and the two of them leapt into the air, intending to fly back to their own ship.
"Thinking of leaving, do you think you can escape?" Lisa pushed off the ground and leaped high into the air, quickly catching up with Lin Xi and Gu Fan and launched an attack from behind.
"No way!" Lin Xi was caught off guard and was hit hard in the back by Lisa. She coughed up blood and both her and Gu Fan tumbled towards the sea.
"After dealing with this pair, I have other things to do." Lisa glanced at the Lengbing Ocean Shipping Company’s cargo ship and was invigorated by the looks of terror on everyone’s faces, not expecting so many "meals" to come her way.
At this time, Su Hui, Leng Le, Hai, and Jie have returned after enduring hardships. Before they could catch their breath or be welcomed, a figure plummeted from the sky, landing right in front of everyone.
Seeing this person, everyone retreated in fear, tensing up.
Lisa smiled condescendingly: "You know, I’ve never met someone as stupid as you, but I love your stupidity."
"No need to thank me, because pretty soon you won’t have the chance to cry." Su Hui rolled up her sleeves, glanced at Hai beside her and said, "Now we’re not in the water, should be no problem, right?"
"Of course, but I was just thinking, we’ve never teamed up before, have we?" Hai also seemed energized, the corners of his mouth curving upwards.
Lisa felt a chill, sensing that these two were not to be underestimated, but she still had faith in her own strength.
"Alright, let’s go. Don’t back down." After saying this, Su Hui took the initiative and launched her attack.
"Don’t worry about me." Hai also charged, as a man, he couldn’t allow himself to lag behind a woman.
"What, daring to challenge me, have you lost your minds?" With a cold snort from Lisa, she dashing towards the seemingly weaker Su Hui.
"She’s fast - be careful!" Su Hui used the same move Gu Fan had used before, extending her leg forward and tripping the charging Lisa.
Lisa, now off-balance, watched in shock as Hai threw a punch. Lisa was knocked back right at the start of the battle.
"Damn it!" Lisa was furious. She stood up, hoping to regain some dignity. She was met, however, by Su Hui and Hai launching a coordinated attack.
Lisa tried to block as best she could but to no avail. She took several punches in quick succession before being kicked away by Su Hui and Hai together.
The rest of the crew cheered as Su Hui and Hai gained the upper hand. Suddenly, Gu Ling sensed something. He grabbed a lid and raised it outside the railing, yelling for everyone to help.
Some people didn’t understand what Gu Ling was doing, but Jie and Lu Yi trusted him. They rushed over to help him hold the lid. Suddenly there was a loud clang, and something hit the lid hard. The force dented the lid and threw Jie, Lu Yi and Gu Ling to the ground.
It turned out that a Wandering Sea Ghost had planned a surprise attack. However, it was unlucky. Its movements were sensed by Gu Ling, and it failed to successfully board the ship. Its head hit the lid and was still buzzing.
After one Sea Ghost failed to board the ship, the others doubled their efforts. More and more managed to climb aboard, each of them revealing a menacing grin.
Many people were frightened and prepared to run, but Leng Le shouted sharply, "Where do you think you’re going? Do you think you can escape? We should all fight back together, maybe we stand a chance."
"Do you think you can do it?" One Sea Ghost sneered, but his laughter froze on his face as Leng Le rushed over, made a feint, then swung his leg right into the Sea Ghost’s face.
Leng Le’s kick boosted everyone’s morale. Jie wielded his baseball bat, Lu Yi lifted his shield, and Qin Jia took out her pepper spray. The others grabbed whatever was at hand and began to fight against the Sea Ghosts.
"Know your place, throw them all into the sea." The Sea Ghosts decided not to engage in close combat. One of them grabbed a man by the collar and tossed him overboard.
This move by the Sea Ghosts completely terrified everyone. They easily threw people into the sea, making it seem impossible to fight back.
Some of the crew members and the bosses’ subordinates turned and ran in fear. Leng Le was also choked by a Sea Ghost and couldn’t break free.
However, at this moment, the seemingly weak Qin Jia rushed over and sprayed pepper spray directly into the Sea Ghost’s eyes.
This was the first time the Sea Ghost had experienced the burning sensation of pepper spray. He screamed in pain and immediately released Leng Le.
"Who was the one who said they were going to throw whom into the sea?" Leng Le kicked the Sea Ghost, who stepped back and tumbled off the ship.
"Thank you!" Leng Le expressed his gratitude to Qin Jia, then looked around to see his side was almost defeated.
