Chapter 633: What If They Join Forces?

Chapter 633: Chapter 633: What If They Join Forces?

"What should we do, what should we do?" Gu Ling, watching everyone caught in a bitter battle, was feeling desperate. Another piercing howl echoed as another person was blasted and dropped into the sea.

"That’s it!" An idea dawned on Gu Ling, and he shouted urgently, "Everyone, retreat to the ship’s hold immediately!"

Those who heard him, terrified and without the will to fight, turned and bolted for the shelter of the ship’s hold first.

Lu Yi, flushed with urgency, approached Gu Ling saying, "Miss, we’re already short on manpower. If you keep shouting like that, everyone will run off."

Gu Ling explained his reasoning, "This open area is disadvantageous for us; they’re knocking us off into the sea one by one. Inside the ship’s hold, it will be a different story."

After hearing this, Lu Yi was enlightened. He gave Gu Ling a thumbs-up and himself shouted, "Everyone retreat! Fall back to the ship’s hold!"

Under Lu Yi’s command, everyone started to retreat into the ship’s hold from every path, while the Wandering Sea Ghosts showed no signs of stopping, pursuing relentlessly.

Just before Gu Ling retreated into the ship’s hold, he saw Su Hui get hit and slam into the railing. She was barely hanging on and looked to be in severe pain.

On the other hand, Hai has his arm around Lisa’s neck from behind. However, Lisa was too strong; she grabbed Hai’s clothes and flipped him over her shoulder with one smooth motion.

"My god, she’s too powerful." Hai was hit hard, seeing stars, unable to stand up right away.

Lisa immediately kicked down forcefully, but her blow was blocked by Hai’s crossed arms. Despite this defensive move, Hai felt as if his arms were about to break from the impact.

Taking no heed of her pain, Su Hui rushed over, landing three stunning mid-air kicks sending Lisa flying, successfully rescuing Hai from his predicament.

After such a long battle, Su Hui and Hai were bruised all over and in severe pain. Meanwhile, Lisa seemed to have merely stretched her muscles, looking completely unscathed.

"Sorry, I forgot to tell you, we don’t feel pain." Lisa said, a cold smile crossing her lips. She flexed her wrist, adding, "I respect your strength. Once I’ve finished with you, I’ll turn you into Wandering Sea Ghosts, adding you to our ranks."

Su Hui shook her head, "Thanks for your kind invitation, but I’m afraid I can’t accept it. Ever since I was a child, my mother told me not to befriend bad girls."

"Sorry, but some invitations cannot be refused," Lisa said, a grim look on her face, stepping closer, exuding pressure on Su Hui and Hai.

"Well, here is a phrase for you; not everyone wants to accept your invitation." Su Hui was ready, eyeing Lisa intently as she moved forward swiftly. A fierce determination flashed in her eyes as she intensely focused on tracking Lisa’s every move.

Without any hesitation, Su Hui dealt a swift kick squarely on Lisa’s body while Hai jumped up high, charging at Lisa’s head with both fists. Together, they managed to knock Lisa down.

"You’re seeking your deaths!" Lisa was furious. She slapped both hands onto the ground and sprung off the floor. But the moment she managed to rise, Su Hui and Hai hit her again, sending her flying.

"Find a way to throw her into the sea." Both Su Hui and Hai felt their strength draining. They rushed forward, each grabbing one of Lisa’s arms, trying to drag her towards the sea.

Lisa couldn’t keep her balance, making it impossible for her to shake off the two of them, she was being dragged helplessly.

Suddenly, Su Hui realized something; even if they threw Lisa into the sea, she would only come back. She exchanged glances with Hai.

Hai understood. He and Su Hui immediately pushed Lisa down onto the ground, twisting her arms behind her back to keep her pinned down.

Although Lisa was undeniably strong, without her arms to support her, she couldn’t get up. She writhed continuously, trying to pull her arms free.

At first, Su Hui and Hai could barely hold Lisa down. But as time progressed, they grew weary, whereas Lisa’s strength seemed never to diminish.

"You guys seem to be losing strength," Lisa said with a victorious grin on her face. Then, with a powerful twist, she shook off Su Hui and Hai.

Su Hui and Hai could hardly stand; they both fell on their asses, signs of exhaustion written all over them.

As Hai was getting up, Lisa attacked, sending him flying with one punch. She swiftly turned around and kicked, sending Su Hui flying as well.

"God, doesn’t this woman feel pain or get tired?" Su Hui said as she covered her bruised spots. Seeing Lisa approaching step by step, Su Hui realized the situation was grave.

"Stop struggling and join us." Lisa said the words with a calm and composed demeanor, confident of her victory.

Suddenly, Lisa’s body seemed to float; her feet slightly lifted off the ground. Her facial expression changed drastically, and she immediately rushed to the railing, shouting, "Throw a live person up here, quick!"

Following that, a living person was thrown onto the cargo ship. Lisa instantly grabbed him and began sucking the life out of him.

Seeing this, Su Hui and Hai realized something; the previous battle had also taken a heavy toll on Lisa. However, what she depleted was not physical strength but the life energy of living people. If Lisa could not maintain her physical form and retreat to the sea or the large wooden ship in time, she would be in trouble.

They absolutely could not let Lisa replenish her energy. Su Hui and Hai charged at Lisa, one from the left and one from the right.

"Do you think you can stop me with your level of strength?" Lisa knocked out the person she had been using as a hostage and set them aside, focusing her attention on dealing with Su Hui and Hai.

Hai punched Lisa in the face. However, Lisa was unmoved, and she countered with a punch that made Hai stagger back three steps.

"As expected..." Although Hai didn’t gain an advantage, he felt Lisa’s strength had noticeably decreased.

Now it was Su Hui’s turn to attack. She was blocking and counterattacking at the same time. She not only managed to block Lisa’s offensive but also landed several hits on Lisa. It seemed Lisa was losing ground.

"I don’t believe you can block forever." Lisa threw a punch forcing Su Hui to withdraw, her arm feeling like it was about to fracture from the pain.

Just as the situation reached a critical juncture, Hai threw caution to the wind, leaping toward Lisa with a flying double-kick that sent Lisa flying.

After that kick, Hai and Su Hui’s physical strength plummeted. They were panting hard, while Lisa just cracked her neck, looking as if nothing had happened.
