However, to their disappointment, the team member was kicked away by the vampire, landing far and hard before lying motionless on the ground, as if that single kick had been enough to end his life.

"F*ck, no change at all?" Gu Fan was somewhat disappointed and completely ignored the vampire standing beside him.

Annoyed, the vampire kicked out at him, frightening Li, who was standing nearby. Li quickly closed his eyes, refusing to watch.

"Now you understand," Gu Fan said, unfazed, keeping his eyes on the team member. Gradually, a look of fascination emerged in his eyes, as if he had seen something extraordinary.

The team member stood up again, as if unharmed, and even he couldn’t believe it. He checked his limbs and felt a transformation within his body.

At this moment, that vampire had no heart to continue fighting and merely said, "Alright, you guys hurry up..." but before he could finish, a heavy fist slammed into him.

The phenomenal strength and speed kicked up dust as the team member sent the vampire flying with a strike, showing a posture of a strong man completely different from his prior weak and pleading demeanor.

Li was dumbstruck, and the team member looked at his own limbs again, almost disbelieving that he had delivered that blow.

Gu Fan breathed a sigh of relief. The experiment was successful, which meant there was hope in conquering Dark City, even if it was guarded by thousands of troops.
