Chapter 528: Chapter 528: Approaching the Land of the Moon

"Diana..." Chen Ke gently caressed Diana’s cheek, recognizing his voice in her contemplation.

"You didn’t need to come... This is a trap..." Diana shook her head.

"Don’t give up, superheroes don’t just give up," Chen Ke said.

"I can’t... I..." Diana said.

"I killed them," Chen Ke said.

"No... Not them..." Diana shook her head again.

"What do you mean?" Chen Ke suddenly felt something was off.

He looked at the floor beneath him, the smooth surface reflecting his blurred image, and that of another woman.

"Danger..." Diana said.

As soon as she spoke, Chen Ke felt a sharp hit on his back as if a transparent blade had pierced through his body, opening a wound on his chest that spurted dark red blood.

"Damn it!"

Chen Ke clutched his chest, looked down, and saw his reflection being strangled by that woman from behind, her hand piercing him with a sharpened blade.

He struck back but hit nothing; the force exerted by the woman did not originate from this space.

Chen Ke tried to dodge elsewhere but found himself immobilized, the reflection on the floor showing the woman tightly embracing him, repeatedly stabbing him in the back with the sharp knife.

Chen Ke broke into a cold sweat from pain but knew he had to concentrate to escape, like solving a timed puzzle—if he didn’t find a solution quickly, he might well end up dead there.

Moreover, the greatest danger was that although he could resurrect after death, he had no idea how long that might take. Diana would definitely be doomed, not to mention his body lying there, possibly being toyed with by Yasla’s people.

"Think, think..." Chen Ke swallowed the blood surging up his throat, his brain working at high speed.

"I’ve got an idea... Let’s try this!" In a desperate moment of clarity, Chen Ke gathered a Spiritual Power Crystal Gun in his right hand and threw it fiercely at the floor beneath him.

The floor exploded beneath his feet, and his reflection vanished. As the wound began to heal rapidly, a woman’s voice reached his ears.

"You are smarter than her."

Chen Ke turned around and saw a woman with black hair draped in white gauze, standing against the moon, watching him.

"You—" He began, but the floor suddenly cracked open, everything around him fracturing like cracked glass, and then, with a crash, everything shattered, and he fell along with it.

Chen Ke trembled and found himself sitting on the ground, his ears ringing. He looked around and saw everything was inverted; the moon was under his feet, and above him were the twinkling lights of Opportunity City.

"This is..." Chen Ke looked puzzled.

"This is the place closest to the moon," said the woman in white from behind him.

He spun around, raised the double-barreled shotgun in his hands, and without hesitation, pulled the trigger at the woman, but instead of Divine Blood Bullets, soap bubbles came out.

"This..." Chen Ke stared in surprise at the gun in his hand and then at the woman, a name emerging in his mind.

"Illusion Creation Witch Fujiwara Makoto."

Chen Ke widened his eyes in shock, staring at a witch before him!?

"You little thief, I’ve been looking for you for a long time, and I didn’t expect you to show up today," Fujiwara Makoto said.

"I don’t remember stealing anything from you, but you, on the other hand, have tortured my friend like that," Chen Ke said.

"You stole two things from me, Chen Ke, right under my watch," Fujiwara Makoto smiled.

"Two things?" Chen Ke asked.

"You not only took away Fan Hede’s witch inheritance but also stole my Divine Heart Fragment. I’ve never seen a thief as greedy as you," Fujiwara Makoto said.

"Is Fan Hede your family? What business is it of yours what I manage to pull off? And... that green Holy Diamond, you call it a Divine Heart Fragment?" Chen Ke said.

"You talk too much; all your problems can be solved after you’re dead," Fujiwara Makoto coldly said.

"You’re the one who will die tonight," Chen Ke said.

Chen Ke fired his Spiritual Power Crystal Gun at Fujiwara Makoto, the blue light spear soared into the air and turned into a magnificent fireworks display. He then pulled out an AK47, aimed at Fujiwara Makoto, and pulled the trigger, but instead of bullets, chocolate beans flew from the barrel.

"Damn..." Chen Ke cursed inwardly; this Fujiwara Makoto, like An Helei, was a witch, but her specialty was Illusion Technique, which was incredibly realistic, far beyond mere eye-blocking skills—it was more like altering reality itself.

"The most powerful Illusion Technique, Chen Ke, is not about confusing the fake with the real, but about creating reality. With me here, you stand no chance," Fujiwara Makoto said with a smile.

Chen Ke, dressed in Black Knight armor, swung his moonlight greatsword again and charged at Fujiwara Makoto, who disappeared from her spot and suddenly moved ten steps away with instant teleportation.

"Did you know, Chen Ke? I’ve traveled through hundreds of worlds and have seen countless people stronger than you; not one of them could defeat me," Fujiwara Makoto continually teleported.

"Since you’re already so powerful, why do you still want that Holy Diamond?" Chen Ke asked.

"Is there any conflict in that?" Fujiwara Makoto asked with a laugh.

"Somebody told me that gathering those Holy Diamonds could grant the power to change everything. You already have this power, so why pursue that Holy Diamond?" Chen Ke asked again.

"I can create and change anything, but this world is not under my control; you’re really annoying, why so many questions!" Fujiwara Makoto exclaimed angrily.

She waved her hands, and suddenly steel spikes twelve feet long rained down from the sky, but for Chen Ke, this rain did not come from above but from below upward...

Chen Ke threw a time bomb beneath him, stopping the time around him, and the steel spikes that fell into the area of stopped time were frozen in midair.

"Where did you steal this power from? You sure have a lot of secrets," Fujiwara Makoto said.

"You’ve traveled through hundreds of worlds, haven’t you seen this before?" Chen Ke asked.

"First time I’ve seen it today, but once is enough!" Fujiwara Makoto suddenly teleported over, holding a sharp dagger and fiercely stabbing towards Chen Ke’s heart.

Although Chen Ke was dressed in black armor and holding a greatsword, the opponent was an Illusion Creation Witch, and who knows what she could turn his equipment into; now he had no better choice but to swing his greatsword at Fujiwara Makoto’s head.

Sure enough, the great sword turned into a long loaf of bread, and his black armor transformed into a black chiffon dress!

"Holy shit!" Chen Ke exclaimed, his voice turned into a woman’s voice.

Fujiwara Makoto grabbed Chen Ke’s neck and drove the knife into his heart, with the blade penetrating completely, leaving only the hilt outside.

"Uh... uh..." Chen Ke gasped in pain, his long black hair cascaded over his shoulders, and he spat out fresh blood.

Meanwhile, Fujiwara Makoto had turned into a naked Asian man, his strong and powerful body wrapped around Chen Ke, a scornful smile hanging on his handsome face.

"In my domain, the only constant is change, whenever I want it to be," Fujiwara Makoto said with a smile.

"Sss..." Chen Ke squinted his eyes, his body shaking as blood continuously flowed from the wound on his chest.

"Now, it’s time to hand over your sisters’ power, Ms. Chen. Then, I will go to the Administration Bureau to take the Divine Heart Fragment," Fujiwara Makoto said.

"That Holy Diamond... is it in the hands of the Administration Bureau? Ah! ... Ah..." Chen Ke said.

Fujiwara Makoto twisted the hilt, enlarging the wound, curiously looking at Chen Ke, not understanding why he hadn’t died yet.

"That’s none of your business... why aren’t you dead yet?" Fujiwara Makoto said, trying to drive the dagger deeper, but he felt the blade struck something hard.

"Because... because I have no heart, you bitch," Chen Ke’s right hand produced a black gun, pressing it against Fujiwara Makoto’s waist.

Fujiwara Makoto sneered, trying to turn the gun into a water gun or something else, but when his consciousness touched the gun, he sensed something and broke out in a cold sweat.

"Divine!"

A crimson pillar of light swept across the night sky, countless purple butterflies danced towards the moon, and everything returned to calm.
