Chapter 527: Finally Found You

Chapter 527: Chapter 527: Finally Found You

The spider monsters that the three women had transformed into retreated into the darkness, and Chen Ke used Spiritual Vision to probe, but found nothing.

In an instant, a sticky web pounced from behind, toppling him to the ground, its strong adhesiveness impossible to break free from, and the soft rustling sounds of insect legs crawling echoed in his ears.

Chen Ke looked up as three naked women reached out with their hands, grabbing onto his arms and abdomen, their mouths gaping wide as they vomited a disgusting white liquid.

The liquid gave off a sweet scent, but was as thick as paste, adhering to the armor and quickly forming a white film, wrapping Chen Ke up like a sticky rice dumpling.

Chen Ke’s armor began to heat up, filling the air with the scent of rust, and the white filmy layer on the armor quickly turned yellow and brittle from the high heat. The spider, originally using all six hands, immediately threw Chen Ke to the floor.

"Bang!"

Chen Ke self-destructed.

This was a built-in ability of An Helei’s Elegy, and Chen Ke exploded like a Molotov cocktail that had been squeezed too hard, engulfing the dark room in a flash of fiery brilliance for a moment.

Close to the blast, the spiders wailed repeatedly and once again hid in the darkness. Although it was only for an instant, Chen Ke had gotten a clear view of the room.

It was originally just a very old empty house, only beautified by Illusion Technique, wrapped in the skin of a middle-Class villa.

Chen Ke took out a grenade launcher and pulled the trigger into the surrounding darkness. The blood-red grenades bounced on the floor, blasting open the doors, windows, and the decayed walls. Moonlight shone through the cracks, dispelling the darkness brought by the Illusion Technique.

"He has a Class... I must tell the lady!" The spider uttered in a strange voice, both scared and angry.

Following the moonlight, Chen Ke saw the spider clinging to the corner of the ceiling, its previously sensual upper half of the three women now burnt and oozing with pus due to the high temperature of the flames.

The spider tried to escape through a gap in the wall, but Chen Ke’s left hand transformed into a double-barreled shotgun and with one shot to the spider’s abdomen, green guts splattered everywhere.

The spider’s swollen abdomen split in half, spilling yellow and green fluids all over the ground, and it completely disintegrated, with the three women reverting to human form and heavily crashing onto the floor.

Without their cheongsams, Chen Ke couldn’t distinguish who was who. Two of the women retreated back into the shadows of the room, leaving only half of a corpse illuminated by the moonlight.

The previous shot had killed one, which caused them to disintegrate.

Thump thump thump thump...

The sound of bugs crawling came again, this time the legs making even sharper sounds, accompanied by a dangerous hissing.

Chen Ke gripped the double-barreled shotgun and spotted three sharp legs and stingers moving through the moonlit gap. The next second, a massive stinger lunged at his face.

"Scorpion!" Chen Ke’s body jerked sharply to the right to dodge; the stinger grazed past the edge of his helmet.

In a blink, a Moonlight Greatsword appeared in his hand, and with an upward swing, he chopped the stinger off.

"Ah ah ah ah!!!!!" The scorpion screeched and retreated, its severed tail spraying green acidic liquid.

Chen Ke yanked the scorpion’s tail, and with the shotgun in his right hand, he pulled the trigger towards its upper body. Two No. 12 blood deer bullets hit her chest and head, blooming the Death Flower, and the form of the scorpion immediately dissolved.

In Chen Ke’s hand, the scorpion’s tail transformed into the small leg of a woman. He dragged her out from the shadows to see her disheveled, her skin clear, her hands protecting her chest and abdomen, her burn wounds still evident.

Upon closer inspection, the woman turned out to be Asian. Had the burns not been so severe, she would have been described as breathtakingly beautiful with a stunning figure.

At the moment, the woman kept her eyes tightly shut, letting Chen Ke drag her by one leg on the ground, waiting for death to come.

"Hey, I’m asking you," Chen Ke said.

The other party didn’t speak.

"Where is the woman you’ve taken?" Chen Ke asked.

The woman still didn’t speak, her expression one of extreme timidity, devoid of the confidence she had shown earlier.

"Then... you’re of no use," Chen Ke said, raising the double-barreled shotgun to the woman’s head.

"Wait... wait..." the woman suddenly opened her eyes, pleading.

"Where is she? Tell me, and I’ll spare your life," Chen Ke asked again.

"In the white house..." the woman said.

"Hmm... and if she isn’t there?" Chen Ke said.

"I’m not lying... you promised you’d spare my life..." the woman said.

"Sorry, I lied," Chen Ke pulled the trigger. The woman’s head turned to mush.

He stepped out of the dilapidated house, while outside, the Yasla freaks slowly backed away. Some bald Silent Witches glared at Chen Ke with eyes full of hatred but restrained themselves from swarming him.

Under the moonlight, the slum-like cluster of buildings returned to peace. He took out his phone and made a call to Lucina.

"What happened just now?" Lucina asked.

"I encountered their leader, but it’s over now. Help me look for a white house," Chen Ke said.

"Give me a moment," Lucina said, picking up her sniper rifle and surveying the Yasla stronghold.

"Uh... found it, it’s a bit far from you, and the view isn’t good, I can’t cover you if you’re there," Lucina said.

"Don’t worry, no door can keep me out," Chen Ke said.

Following Lucina’s directions, he weaved through the alleys and finally arrived in front of a two-story white villa. This house stood out awkwardly among the surrounding cluttered dwellings, and Chen Ke suspected it was another Illusion Technique.

He pushed open the door. There were no lights inside, and he could faintly hear a woman’s moaning from within. Under the scrutiny of Spiritual Vision, Chen Ke saw a woman with her arms spread, legs together, head drooping to one side, seemingly bound to a post.

"Diana?" Chen Ke called.

The woman didn’t respond, the painful moan never ceasing.

Chen Ke gritted his teeth, feeling inexplicably angry, and with the worst assumptions in mind, he drew his shotgun and stepped forward into the house.

Approaching the woman in the darkness, he couldn’t see clearly, only feeling that the woman was gasping for breath. He released An Helei’s Lament and reached out to touch the woman’s body, feeling not skin but a sticky, soggy, revolting substance.

At that moment, the whole room slowly shattered, the ceiling, and walls breaking into block-like chunks. Red halos twined around the fragments as they flew into the sky, and under the moonlight, Chen Ke finally saw the woman’s face clearly.

It was indeed Diana, completely naked, her wrists pierced with nails, crucified on a cross-shaped wooden rack. Blood tears streamed from her eyes, her face covered with bruises, and her brown hair was like a mop that had been soaked in blood...

And most horrific of all were her chest, back, and thighs, not only flayed alive but also severely slashed across her abdominal muscles, with fat and blood trickling down the red and white striated muscle tissue.
