Chapter 352: She Just Appeared

Chapter 352: Chapter 352: She Just Appeared

Thirty-two soul guns whizzed toward Chen Ke, making him inhale deeply as his mind raced to find a way out.

If all the soul guns hit him, let alone all, even one could take him away.

Moreover, the more he used his resurrection ability, the longer the resurrection time would be, and he would even lose some of his memories. It was truly a loss.

If he were to die here, would Chen Ke remember why he had come to this place when he woke up next time? He didn’t think he would remember...

Now, even if Parker wanted to help, he was helpless. He couldn’t ask him to stand in front of him as a shield, could he?

With the blue halo imminent, he unwillingly closed his eyes, ready to face the next round of resurrection.

Just then, a white orb of light leaped from behind Chen Ke and unfolded a light screen in front of him.

The soul guns hit the light screen, all dissolving into blue energy bodies, swirling on the surface of the screen, then slowly dissipating.

A woman dressed in red business attire and a black business skirt walked from behind Chen Ke, standing in front of him. At this time, Parker had turned to ash and was still wandering on the ceiling.

"Thorns... thorns..." Chen Ke struggled to remind her.

However, the black mud covering the ground began to crack, emitting orange light from the cracks, as if water was about to resurface in the parched land.

The spines disintegrated in an instant, and Chen Ke fell to the ground, kneeling halfway, rubbing his arm, and spitting out the blood from his mouth.

Corrigan’s black head sculpture showed a pained expression, it ferociously looked at the woman and opened its mouth.

The mouth split from the face, and several intestine vines as thick as wrists flew towards the woman, with small mouths at their tips, inside which were sharp teeth.

The woman opened her left hand and stretched it forward, a fierce flame appeared out of nowhere. Even though he was behind the woman, Chen Ke could feel the high heat of the flame, scorching his cheeks.

The intestine vines, with small mouths, were scorched by the flame and fell to the floor, and suddenly the hall was filled with a smell of roasted meat.

"Who are you?!" Chen Ke asked.

"Now is not the time for that," the woman replied, slightly turning her head, but Chen Ke still couldn’t see her face.

She must be a high-ranking special agent from the Administration Bureau. Could she be Diana’s colleague? Chen Ke wondered silently, unsure if he should use his spiritual power now.

Corrigan’s large head began to disintegrate, its split mouth tightly biting, snapping off those roasted intestine vines, then, its eyes emitted orange and purple light, glaring angrily at the woman and Chen Ke.

"Dark Energy Death Ray! Move!" the woman shouted and then quickly flipped to one side.

In that instant, two thick beams of light shot out of Corrigan’s eyes, like Superman’s heat vision, sliding across the hall’s floor, leaving two black scorched trails.

The central containment facility in the hall was also cut in half by the beams, and the floating rock fell to the floor, not bouncing, but rolling twice before stopping.

Chen Ke lunged to dodge the beams’ attack. As he was just getting up, he saw the woman’s hands glow orange, transforming into a pair of iron knuckles.

"She is going to..." Chen Ke pursed his lips.

The next second, the woman leaped high into the air, smashing her fist towards the blue light region on the right forehead of Corrigan’s black head sculpture.

With a loud clang, accompanied by an audible sonic boom ripple, the woman’s fist, like a ton-weight iron ball, cracked Corrigan’s right forehead.

"It’s so hard..." the woman said, landing on top of Corrigan’s head.

A thick black vine suddenly stabbed out from behind the head sculpture, attacking the woman. She performed a backflip to the ground, blocking the following vine with her left hand, which then wrapped around her.

Chen Ke drew his pistol and symbolically fired a few shots at Corrigan’s head sculpture. Meanwhile, the vine that had wrapped around the woman split open, and she sprang from the coiled vine to the ground.

Watching the woman’s moves, Chen Ke roughly understood the key point; Corrigan’s deadliest part was the blue stone embedded in his right forehead. If that thing could be knocked off, he could probably be killed completely.

The woman seemed not to regard Chen Ke as a capable combat partner, focusing solely on striking, but undeniably, her performance was beyond Chen Ke’s reach.

Wearing the Fist Tiger, she could crack Corrigan’s black head, and if those brass knuckles were just ordinary Holy Relics, Chen Ke couldn’t imagine how strong the woman’s power was.

Moreover, her athletic abilities were equally astonishing. Whether it was agility, jumping power, or speed, all were comparable to the H.C.P iron cans Chen Ke had encountered in Fan Hede.

Additionally, she possessed secret Skill techniques that Chen Ke had never seen before, such as the light screen that saved his life and the orange range Magic that stopped Corrigan from contaminating the ground.

More significantly to Chen Ke, the woman did not show surprise at his rapid recovery.

While Chen Ke was contemplating, the woman leaped high again. She clenched her fists and delivered an even fiercer blow towards the glowing blue area.

"Bam!"

"Wooo wooo wooo..." Corrigan emitted a painful moan, shaking his head trying to dislodge the woman on his forehead.

Corrigan now resembled a large head set on the ground; if the woman hadn’t sealed his ability to contaminate the ground with black mud, he would indeed have been difficult to handle in the confined space.

The woman clenched her right fist, continuously punching the glowing blue area, creating a large crack that exposed the blue stone within.

She grabbed the blue stone and yanked it out forcefully from Corrigan’s forehead.

Corrigan’s black head sculpture began to disintegrate, shattering into pieces on the ground, while the woman leaped away, landing to the side.

"It’s over," the woman said, holding the glowing blue stone in her hand.

Then, she turned towards Chen Ke, her eyes filled with curiosity.

"Who are you...?" Chen Ke asked again.

"My name is Xu Jing," the woman calling herself Xu Jing replied with a faint smile, brushing the black stone dust off her body.

"Just like that? Are you with the Administration Bureau?" Chen Ke holstered his gun.

"No, I’m not with you. This is my special operation code, 311-E572-049," Xu Jing responded, evaluating Chen Ke’s riddled body up and down.

Although Chen Ke’s physical body had healed, his clothes would not repair themselves; after a fight, they would end up like this, so he clearly understood the Hulk’s pain.

"What... I... um..." Chen Ke was confused by what Xu Jing had said, but he was at least certain of one thing—this woman was not from the Administration Bureau.
