Chapter 667: Chapter 582: Evil Silver Gradient_3

The God-headed People Race was the most famous of the Dragon Race hybrids; they were born in mass quantities, almost rivaling the number of Goblins.

However, the power of the God-headed People couldn’t compare to that of the Dragon Race. The degradation wasn’t limited to their strength and magical power, but most importantly their intelligence.

The average intelligence of a Giant Dragon surpassed that of humans and Elves, after all, the Dragon Race possessed inherited wisdom and could stuff any knowledge inside as they grew up to inevitably become a qualified Giant Dragon who had received "general education."

However, those races mixed with Dragon Blood were different—they most often had low intelligence, relying solely on the bit of magical power they received through their lineage to sustain their race.

This was the rule—powerful individuals found it difficult to reproduce, whereas races that could easily reproduce were generally not strong.

Some races chose the median, for example, the Orcs who could reproduce prolifically, had decent individual strength, but their upper limits couldn’t match that of humans and Elves—they could only maintain the lower limits.

Humans were the most unique; their lowest capabilities could be very deficient, filled with weak and stupid individuals, yet it was particularly easy for them to produce geniuses, heroes who were as strong as they were smart.

Amberser now only hoped that the progeny of the Evil Silver Gradient would follow the path of the Orcs—having a low upper limit was fine as long as it was highly controllable, so his descendants could truly breed on a large scale and therefore re-promote Alchemy.

However, both Amberser and the God of Alchemy overlooked one thing—the Evil Silver Gradient was the first individual of the Mercury Avatar family, and now, having gained incredible power, it had broken the mortal shackles to become a Deity.

Even if this Deity received no Deity Position enhancements, didn’t have Aeo’s approval, by rule, the Evil Silver Gradient naturally became the Racial God of the Mercury Avatars.

As he slept, countless voices echoed in his mind—the voices of all the Mercury Avatars.

These little ones, mostly naive and ignorant, thought like five-year-old children every day, their concerns only about eating, playing, and sleeping. As a group of special beings raised by Amberser, the Mercury Avatars generally lived quite comfortably, most devoid of negative emotions needing to be dissolved.

Yet it wasn’t entirely the case—while in slumber, the Evil Silver Gradient sensed the negative emotions coming from a particularly smart Avatar who had circumvented the caregivers and stealthily escaped from Mercury City underground.

But there were already tens of thousands of Mercury Avatars; missing one or two was utterly unnoticed.

This mischievous child’s curiosity outweighed its counterparts, having escaped captivity, it explored the underground world.

However, it was still too frail, and now the Subterranean Dwarves had captured it, trapping it in a giant bottle.

The Evil Silver Gradient sensed this little one’s fear, anger, and despair.

It was praying to the great Bone God, hoping that its creator could save it.

There had been no response previously, and having not consumed metal for a long time, this little one was nearly dying from despair.

But this time, something in the distant darkness seemed to have responded to its prayer.

The Evil Silver Gradient, in its slumber, uttered an annoying murmur, "Who dares bully my child! Die, all of you, die!"

Instinctively, the Evil Silver Gradient responded to this runaway mischievous child.

Deep within Gloomyland, the jar confining the Mercury Avatar burst with a bang, and a Mercury Avatar, emitting a glow of runes, emerged in the darkness.
