Chapter 573: Chapter 510: The Most Powerful Time Dragon

At the moment Amberser announced the resurrection of the Magic Dragon, the sky was filled with countless strange phenomena.

These were the Deities manifesting themselves in Heaven.

The wild dance of Thunder, signifying the mad laughter of Talos.

He was the ultimate winner of this game, having watched from the beginning to the end, and even won a Goddess to be his wife.

The other ethereal figures were "guests" invited by Amberser to witness this game.

God of Alchemy, Goddess of Wealth, Lady of Mist, Father of the Oak, Orc Chief God, Supreme Dwarves... Apart from the Elf Tribe, all Deities related to the Kingdom were present.

The Gods came to witness where the Lich would ultimately take the world.

And now, the outcome was decided.

The Magic Dragon was resurrected, its disguise a failure.

At this moment, he became the target of numerous arrows. All Races of the continent would unite at this moment to punish this once Tyrant.

They would not listen to any explanations, nor would they give the Magic Dragon any chances.

Furthermore, everything that had just happened had already been broadcasted to the entire world through the Magic Mirror, and everyone was aware of the Magic Dragon’s true identity.

The young Emperor of Laine... No, he was no longer the Emperor of Laine at this time but the Magic Dragon Tyrant Atros.

Atros watched as Amber slowly descended from the sky. The transformed Lich had no expression of victory on his face, only a cold, exquisitely serene calm. Biting his teeth, he asked, "You’ve won, and yet you wear that expression?"

Amberser glanced at him and didn’t answer the question but instead mocked, "You’re entirely giving up, just like that?"

Atros said resentfully, "What else can I do but accept it? After all, I am no longer the Magic Dragon of old, unable to revert the World’s time, and you will not let me go."

The audience gathered here included most of the Legendary fighters of the entire world; even the Headless Knight Gareth was more powerful than Arthur Laine had been in the past. It was impossible to win with his own strength alone.

Struggling was pointless, and with Atros’s plans foiled, he would never surpass Arthur Laine.

Stricken by a double blow, Atros had lost his will to fight.

"If it were Arthur in a desperate situation, he would still never give up; he always held onto hope, which is why you lost to him in the past."

These words from Amberser made Atros utterly furious.

"That damned Lich who belongs in Hell!" Atros truly ground his teeth in hatred, roaring with a mouthful of blood: "I should have killed you from the beginning! Damned Hircine, it was He who deceived me..."

Amberser seemed not to hear Atros’s curse and instead looked up to the sky.

Atros felt something was wrong. What was the Lich looking at? Was there anything more worth watching than a loser now?

Above in the sky, countless shadows faded away, while at the same time, many more massive shadows emerged.

These were Dragons, impossibly massive, as if larger than the entire world itself.

"This is..."

Atros trembled all over; he could already feel the resonance of his bloodline.

Amberser sighed, "This is your hope, your last chance."

The identity of the Magic Dragon revealed, the Dragon Pantheon’s and the Lord of the Dawn’s bet ended.

After seventeen hundred years, the Magic Dragon’s plan to take over Laine was thoroughly defeated, the Overseas Dragon Clan could not return, and the Dragon Race finally lost the millennial war.

In the end, the Lord of the Dawn won, but it didn’t matter what the Lord of the Dawn had wagered; from now on, the Dragon Pantheon no longer needed to remain silent.

As long as the wager was paid, the second game would officially begin.

Billions of beams of Holy Light fell from Heaven, turning into a dazzling shower of light that poured halfway down the sky and then converged into a river, flowing into Atros’s body.

In that moment, he howled to the Heavens, his human body swelling wildly, instantly transforming into a colossal being.

His flesh was torn asunder, and silver-white Dragon Scales grew out... A hundred-meter-long silver Giant Dragon appeared before everyone.

Atros looked at his own body in disbelief.

"My strength has returned... No, it’s even more powerful, hahaha! Even stronger!"

The massive dragon wings unfurled, and the Arena fell into a state of time stopped, everyone sealed within the Power of Time.

The Time Dragon soared into the sky, looking down from above. What should have been a hopeless end suddenly became an ultimate turnaround?

And it was not just the restoration of power; with it came many other blessings yet to be understood, blessings from the Dragon Pantheon.

Originally, his Soul, emanated from the Magic Dragon Armament and nourished by flesh, his body was a fusion of the Magic Dragon Armament and the Ryan Imperial Family. Although capable of transforming into a Time Dragon, it was scarcely more sophisticated than a Druid’s transformation.

But at this very moment, all impurities of humanity had been eliminated from his body, which was now that of a pure Time Dragon, and even more robust and vibrant than before.

Just because of this, Atros was able to spread his wings in an instant and freeze the time of everyone present.

That was a whole group of legends, and on Laine’s side alone, there were eight.

The Power of Time is like when you can’t win at chess, you simply flip the table, then swing the board to smack people; it has the potential to turn defeat into victory without following the rules. But each chess piece on the board has weight, and the larger the board you overturn, the more strength you need to expend.

In dreams, Atros was also cautious, only resorting to using the Power of Time to reverse several minutes of combat as a last resort.

But now, Atros sealed all these legends effortlessly. He didn’t even feel it was strenuous.

"Damn lich! Your end has come... Huh?!"

Atros was about to grab Amberser and humiliate him severely, as payback for the humiliation he had just suffered.

But when he looked up, he found that Amberser had already run far away.

"How could he... wait, is that a Time Dragon?"

Atros saw Amberser riding a small silver dragon, flying at top speed toward the outskirts of the arena.

Only a Time Dragon could move freely inside this time barrier. Where did the lich get a Time Dragon?!

In shock, Atros flapped his wings and gave chase instantly.

Without turning back, Amberser threw several fireballs at Atros, but these little spells were meaningless to the Time Dragon. The closer the fireballs got to the Time Dragon’s body, the slower they moved, until they were completely frozen in midair.

Lightning, ice, Magic Missiles... All spells were equally nullified in the face of the Power of Time.

And even with an Acceleration Spell, Amberser couldn’t avoid the pursuit of the Time Dragon. He didn’t even get out of the arena before Atros caught up with him.

The colossal Time Dragon blocked Amberser’s way, and in comparison, the Time Dragon that Amberser was riding looked as tiny as a child.

"Druid transformation?" Atros said in shock: "How could a Druid possibly transform into a Time Dragon?"

Time Dragons, Rainbow Dragons, Power Dragons – these three types of Legendary Dragonkind are legendary in the literal sense, legendary from birth. It’s a privilege of the World Laws, and even in the pinnacle of a Druid’s transformation ability, it is not possible to transform into one of the three Great Legendary Dragons.

But the silver dragon before him indeed possessed the Power of Time. Even if this power was very weak, so weak that just maintaining the ability to move left the dragon utterly exhausted.

Amberser certainly wouldn’t answer Atros’s questions. He seemed to be making a final desperate struggle, trying to escape once more.

However, Atros would not give him another chance.

The Power of Time converged on Amberser and the tiny Time Dragon, instantly breaking through their defenses.

The Druid transformation was undone, and Naomi was about to fall from the sky, preparing to transform again, when Atros reached out a claw and caught her.

"Interesting little thing, let me take my time to study you later."

With a gentle squeeze from the Magic Dragon, Naomi disappeared as if she had vanished.

Amberser hung in midair and asked in a deep voice, "Did you send her to another time and space?"

Atros glanced at Amberser and then said, "Did you think you still had the right to ask questions?"

Amberser laughed and retorted, "Did you think I didn’t know about the wager between the Dragon Pantheon and the Lord of the Dawn? Did you think I couldn’t guess that the Deity would bless you?"

"So what?" Atros said with utmost confidence: "No one can withstand my power."

He was even more powerful than the Magic Dragon Tyrant in his prime. Even if all the legends present teamed up to attack him, he feared none.

Amberser said with a smile, "I knew you had this kind of personality, blaming heaven and earth when you lose, and being conceited when you win. Haven’t you noticed that the person you most want to see hasn’t appeared yet?"

No sooner had Amberser spoken than a layer of thin dawn light enveloped Atros.

It was like the arrival of the dawn, the thin rays seemed insignificant, yet the next second, the massive head of the Time Dragon was severed.

Dragon blood sprayed, and as the frozen time began to flow once more, the warriors in the arena regained their ability to move.

A giant silver Mecha appeared in the air, its sword still dripping with the blood of the Time Dragon.

In the world, only one person could perform such a pure Holy Slash, symbolizing hope. The pure Holy Light disregarded the influence of time, broke through the Time Dragon’s defensive Barrier, shattered the hard dragon scales, and decapitated the Magic Dragon.

But Arthur Laine, who had just beheaded the Magic Dragon with one sword strike, showed no joy of victory. He simply gripped the hilt of his sword, staring at the decapitated Time Dragon.

The massive body of the Time Dragon fell from the sky, but before it reached the ground, the severed dragon head reattached itself. The Time Dragon’s wounds healed instantly, as if it had never been injured at all.

Time stood on Atros’s side. Regardless of any fatal injury, the Time Dragon could jump in time, going back to a state before getting hurt. As long as the Giant Dragon’s power wasn’t exhausted, the Time Dragon was immortal.

Atros roared: "Arthur Laine!"

The Power of Time covered the field once again, causing the heroes who had just regained their ability to act to disappear from sight, their attacks never even reaching the Time Dragon’s body before being displaced to some unknown era.

In the arena at that moment, only Amberser, Arthur Laine, and the enraged Giant Dragon were left.
