Chapter 84: 84. Happy To See Mill

Mauve lay unmoving on the bed even when she heard the door open. Mill was quick, she was by her side in an instant and Mill sat her up. She helped her out of the shirt and Mauve was surprised when Mill didn’t show any reaction to her dress.

The bath was quick and Mauve barely remembered what transpired. Next thing she knew she was saying goodnight to Mill while being cozied up in bed.

She pulled the sheets up to her head, it wasn’t that cold out but she wanted to be underneath the sheets. She closed her eyes tightly, hoping she would fall asleep quickly as she didn’t want to be alone with her thoughts.

Mauve groaned softly, a sound had woken her up but she wasn’t sure what it was. Her eyes started to close again, she tried to keep them open but failed woefully, and just before she could give in to sleep one more time, she felt good hands brush against her skin.

Mauve eyes immediately flew open and every atom of sleepiness fled. "Jael!" She cried and spun to look at him.

"Mauve," he called back with a blank expression and slipped in beside her.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

He raised a brow but didn’t respond, instead, he adjusted his pillow and rested his head on it. Satisfied with how it felt, he settled in and turned so he was facing her.

Mauve glared at him and repeated her question, "What are you doing here?"

He stretched his hand and brushed the hair away from her eyes. "Would you prefer I wasn’t?"

"No," she pouted. "You weren’t here yesterday?"

"I had matters to attend to, besides, you looked as if you needed a break from me but I guess I may have assumed that."

"Assumed?" Mauve’s eyes looked lost for a second.

"Yes, considering you came to me."

Mauve blinked as realization hit her. "I didn’t come to you because of that," she retaliated, glaring at him.

"Really?" He said and his hand moved from her face down to her neck and then her shoulder.

Mauve visibly shivered as his hand traced her body and he pulled her closer to him. Mauve gasped as she realized he was completely bare under the sheets. She felt him push against her stomach and knew he was ready to go again.

"Wait!" She screamed in horror and pulled away from his grasp.

Jael’s brow dipped and his eyes turned to slits. "Okay," he said stiffly. "Go to sleep."

Mauve opened her mouth to respond but he already closed his eyes. She blinked rapidly, it was annoying and confusing how he was warm to her and then very cold. It was hard to keep up with him.

He put an arm around her and said, "Get some sleep."

She nodded and he pulled her closer to him, burying his face in her hair. "Worry about it tomorrow, I am tired too and if you don’t sleep I can’t."

Mauve grabbed his arm around her and closed her eyes. She tried to shut down her thoughts and go back to sleep but it wasn’t possible. Try as she might, she couldn’t sleep. It didn’t help that he had his entire body pressed against her back. She could still feel him in the small of her waist.

"Stop squirming, Mauve," Jael called out after some minutes had passed.

She froze and he chuckled. "Can’t sleep?" He asked.

"Yes," she muttered.

"Would you prefer I left?" He asked coldly.

"No," she blurted out without hesitation.

He twirled her so she was facing him again and Mauve looked into his tired eyes. However, his gaze wasn’t on her eyes but lower. He raised her chin and kissed her softly.

He gently tugged on her lower lip and then moved to her upper lip, cajoling her to open up to him. She did, she kissed him back and wrapped her hands around his neck, and grabbed his hair.

Jael took a deep breath and pulled her closer to him. Pressing her lower region against his. Mauve groaned into his mouth as her body warmed up to him.

His hands roamed her body and she squiggled some more. She felt him smile against her lips as his hand grabbed her right bosom. Mauve made a loud sound in her throat but Jael didn’t stop there.

Using his left thumb, he slowly began to make circles on the tip, Mauve gripped his hair. With each movement, she could feel not just his cold thumb against her nipple but the movement of the silk nightdress.

He moved down to her belly and he began to tug her dress upwards, he broke the kiss and pulled the dress over her head. Mauve did not miss the look on his face but completely ignored it.

As soon as the dress was over her head, he gently pushed her so she was laying on her back and covered the bosom that he had already given attention with his mouth and grabbed the other with his right hand.

Mauve arched her back at the simultaneous taunting. She squeezed her legs together feeling a bit damp. She felt Jael’s hand trail down to her stomach and even lower.

She groaned when he got to her entrance but his hand immediately went back up. Mauve’s eyes flew open and he immediately covered her lips with his. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her body against his.

He teased at her entrance but did not attempt to go in. Mauve wiggled some more, rubbing herself over his apex but Jael just kissed her harder.

Unable to take it anymore, Mauve pushed down and he slipped into her. She gasped at the invasion, digging her nails into his back as pleasure flowed from that spot all over her body.

She shivered and without giving her time to recover, he began to move in an out of her. Mauve gasped and broke the kiss, grabbing him tighter.

Her eyes were sealed shut and every inch of her body was on fire. She moved to match his rhythm, heading his occasional groan as he thrust in an out of her.

Suddenly her lifted her off the bed so she sat across him while he knelt on the bed. She still had her hands around his neck while his moved to her waist.

He held her in that manner and began slowly lifting her up and down. maybe threw her head back as a loud moan left her lips. She bit her lower lips to stop shouting but with each movement, she forgot.

He brought her torso closer and she felt his fang against her shoulder. He didn’t hesitate to dig his fangs into it. She yelped in pain which was quickly overridden by an overwhelming pleasure.

Mauve began to move on her own accord, her entire being vibrated and the sounds from her lips never ceased. Jael held her, stopping her movements so he could drink without hurting her.

Mauve could stay still, she began to grind back and forth as opposed to up and down and Jael swore. He gripped her tighter as she dug into his back.

Her walls contracted and her movements increased, she shook vehemently just as he pulled his fangs out of her shoulders. Both of them exploded, their spasm overlapping each other.

Mauve gripped Jael as she waited for the aftermath to pass. Her entire body was vibrating, she knew she could move a muscle even if she tried. Her hands were hanging on his shoulders and if it weren’t for his shoulder they would have fallen to the side.

She leaned against him as he licked the blood off her shoulder. She felt him carefully place her onto the bed but she could barely open her eyes let alone say a word.

He carefully wiped her clean before lying down beside her and gathering her into his hands. Mauve went out like a lamp. Her brain and body were too tired to stay awake. She sank into a deep sleep quickly.

Mauve opened her eyes and winced, she was hungry. The kind that ate her stomach from the inside out. She felt water in the corner of her eyes. She had forfeited the last meal and considering the strenuous activity she had been involved in, it was no surprise she felt this way.

She tried to crawl toward the edge of the bed to pull the string but it was hard to move. Her body felt limb.

A loud knock soundly echoed in the room and Mauve was surprised when she opened her mouth to speak and sounds came out, she had assumed she wouldn’t have the energy to.

Though the words had sounded a little croaked, it had been loud enough for anyone behind the door to hear her.

The door flew open and Mill walked in with a tray. Mauve felt water drop out of her eyes, she didn’t think she had been ever happier to see Mill.
