Chapter 336: Intimate Retelling
Chapter 336: Intimate Retelling
After the debacle that was Raine taking care of her drunken idiots, the morning after was thankfully more peaceful as she woke up beside a clearly hungover Nathan.
"Ugh..." Nathan groaned as he clutched her head, making Raine scoff as she got up. "What happened last night?"
"You and Dad got drunk," she shook her head with a knowing smirk. "Did you two seriously have to go through an entire crate of vodka in one sitting?"
"What?"
Raine rolled her eyes as she got out of bed. Shaking her head at him, she replied, "I came in here early specifically to see if you were both having fun without me, only to come home with a trashed house and the two of you practically blackout drunk out of your minds."
Nathan flinched at the tone she used on him. Regretfully, he scratched the back of his head as he apologized. "Oh... Sorry about that..."
"It’s fine. It’s all literally water under the bridge," Raine scoffed as she prepared for their flight. "Besides, you did a decent job making it up to me last night."
Raine inwardly chuckled as she waved her bare butt his way. Indeed, after she had painstakingly dragged him all the way to their bed, a drunken Nathan somehow managed to overpower her and take her right on the very floor she was standing on. She was surprised, but it was most certainly a welcome one as he drunken movements gave her an experience that she would most likely lord over him for the rest of their days.
Who knew that he was capable of making such sounds... It was both exhilirating and hilarious.
"W-What?" Nathan blinked as his eyes remained transfixed on her bare body. "Why can’t I remember?"
"Again, just forget about it," she cheekily giggled as she got dressed. "Now go and get ready. We have a flight to catch, and I’d like to at least have some breakfast before we leave."
Leaving her dumbfounded husband to stew on what he just missed out from being too drunk to remember things, Raine made her way to the kitchen, where her father had diligently made breakfast for them all. He was already dressed and ready to go, the rigors of last night clearly doing little to stop him from doing his tasks.
"Good morning, Dad," she beamed.
"Good morning, Raine," her father nodded. "I’ve already completed our preparations before we leave."
Raine simply nodded as she began digging in. Sure enough, the mess from last night had been finally erased from the house. Sure, she did her best to clean up as best she could, but she wasn’t really in the mood for doing house work at eleven in the evening. She was more than prepared to leave it all to housekeeping, but she still felt a bit bad at doing so. It was only a good thing that her father had did the deed.
Then again, it seemed as if the more she got to know her father, the more it was getting apparent that Lark had been an excellent house-husband before the curse befell on him.
A few moments later, Nathan joined her by the table, his head still hurting from the hangover he was experiencing.
"Damn... That’ll teach me to not drink beyond my limits," Nathan grunted.
"Good. I don’t want to see you drunk enough that I have to drag your sorry ass back to bed again," Raine teasingly chuckled. "Then again, if you do what you did to me last night every time you get that drunk, then maybe I can watch you drink your liver away."
Nathan squinted, clearly conflicted with what he was hearing even as she kept on eating right in front of him. "Seriously, Raine, what did I do?"
Instead of replying, Raine cheekily winked at him with her spoon still on her mouth. There was no way that she’ll say, especially since she was curious if it would naturally happen on its own again. "How about no? Maybe try and wrack your brain for a bit and see if you’ll remember?"
Raine couldn’t help but laugh as she watched her mate’s brows scrunch up in deep thought. Beside them, her father had already seated himself before chowing down on his own portion of breakfast. Meanwhile, Nathan was still hard at work thinking into oblivion, hoping that he’d remember the beautiful and masterful work that he had done to her last night.
Seriously, she almost wished that he didn’t pass out on her right after he coated her insides full of seed. Then again, what happened afterward was just the ultimate icing on the cake.
"Did we... Did I take you?" Nathan hesitantly asked.
"That’s one part of it," Raine shrugged. "Now go and eat. We have a schedule to keep."
Raine relished his confusion as she watched him frown while eating. In the meanwhile, her father had already taken out their bags and lined them up for pick up. They will have to leave as soon as Nathan was done eating, but they still had a bit of time.
She could still pick at his brain for laughs.
"Please, Raine.. Just tell me what happened," Nathan pleaded. "Didn’t you say that we can’t waste any more time here?"
"You also did say that we’re taking the private jet, so it wouldn’t matter if we’re late," Raine evilly chuckled as she smiled at him. "So how about this, you have until we land back home to try and remember what you did to me. If you can, I’ll give you a rather... intimate retelling of the events."
"And if I can’t?"
"If you can’t, then nothing happens," Raine shrugged as she stood up. "We’ll continue on like nothing happened, but you’ll have that one niggling blind spot at the back of your head for the rest of your days."
"And something’s telling me that you have something that you can use against me if I take that route," Nathan postulated. "Is it that bad?"
"I’ll tell you if you run out of time," Raine smirked.
She couldn’t help but laugh as she felt his apprehension and worry spike up at her foreboding words. Truly, she could still pull the intimidation factor if she tried.
