The Unkillable Godlike Cosmic Player -
Chapter 33: New Main Quest
Chapter 33: New Main Quest
Too bad—I could’ve finished my daily quest a lot faster if I had some food. Tch, this hunger is really getting annoying, uncomfortable, and even slowing me down due to the lack of energy. Whatever. Back to the main point: just how strong do I need to be in order to break through those damn barrier shields?
Right now, it looks like I only have a few options to grow stronger. The first is completing daily quests, the second is killing aliens to level up, and the third is waiting for the next main or side quest to appear.
Killing aliens is definitely out of the question—not because I’m afraid of dying again, but because I’m worried about the risk of being thrown out into space. The thought of being lost and drifting alone in the vastness of space is terrifying, and I’m not willing to take that risk.
The idea of drifting in space is no doubt horrifying. Even if I were to land on an unknown planet someday, the vastness of the universe means it could take millions or possibly even billions of years to reach one. And I don’t think I’m willing to endure the agony of waiting that long, drifting alone in space, because the loneliness that comes with it would be hell and pure mental torture.
Additionally, even if the aliens don’t kick me out into space, let’s say they plan to conduct another experiment on my body. With their advanced technology, who knows what they’re capable of? They might even be able to cancel my regeneration skill. If that happens, I’ll be dead for good.
Well, I don’t know if they have the technology to suppress my regeneration or not; either way, I’m not going to risk it.
I guess the safest way for me now is to keep training by doing my daily quests in this vast garbage hall until I’m strong enough to take on the alien soldiers. I don’t know how long it’ll take for me to reach the level where I can beat them, but I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win.
Ding!
[Daily Quest: 1,000,000,000 Push-ups, 1,000,000,000 Sit-ups, 1,000,000,000 Squads, 1,000,000,000 High Jumps, and 1,000,000,000 Meters Run.]

[Reward: Upon completion, you will gain STR +10 & AGI + 10]
O-One billion now?! Damn, this is really getting out of hand. At this rate, it’s going to take me months or maybe even years to finish it. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine how long this will take. But hey, I can’t afford to be lazy now. This is my only shot at getting stronger and taking down the aliens. If I don’t push through, I’m never going to make it.
For now, I’ll just keep focusing on completing my daily quest exercises until the next Main Quest or Side Quest appears.
Alright, let’s start! Raaargh! Hurrah! Let’s fucking go!
Push-ups! Sit-ups! Squats! High Jumps! Running!
...
...
A few years later...
Ding!
[Daily Quest Completed!]
[STR: 77 >> 87]
[AGI: 78 >> 88]
"Ugh, goddammit! This is taking forever!" I couldn’t help but feel extremely frustrated.
Years had gone by, and I still hadn’t gotten any new Main Quests or Side Quests. Is grinding through daily quests the only safe way to get stronger? I sighed, realizing I might have to take some risks if I wished for faster results. But honestly, I’m kind of scared I might actually die this time.
Well, it’s not that I don’t trust my regeneration power, but rather I’m worried that the aliens might have a way to suppress it. With their advanced technology, I wouldn’t be surprised if anything is possible. And, if they can’t kill me, they could just throw me out into space, which would be even worse.
I sighed as I sat down on a pile of garbage, lost in thought. Completing my current daily quest had already taken me years; I couldn’t imagine how much longer the next one would take.
Out of nowhere:
Ding!
[Daily Quest: 10,000,000,000 Push-ups, 10,000,000,000 Sit-ups, 10,000,000,000 Squads, 10,000,000,000 High Jumps, and 10,000,000,000 Meters Run.]

[Reward: Upon completion, you will gain STR +11 & AGI + 11]
Now it’s 10 billion reps per exercise... Damn, this isn’t looking too good... At this point, I have two options: be patient and keep training until I’m strong enough to defeat the alien soldiers, or go out, kill some lesser aliens, level up, but risk being captured, experimented on, or possibly get thrown out into space.
Out of curiosity, I opened my Status Window to check something real quick.
[Title: Beginner Player]
I realized it still says I’m a beginner player. I began wondering if that’s the reason why I’m not getting any new side quests or main quests. It reminded me of those MMORPG games where there are limited quests during the tutorial phase. In short, do I need to become an official player to start my real adventure and unlock more quests? Also, I’m not getting the option to select a class either.
[Class: None]
Oh well, just what the hell is going on? The system has been real quiet lately... All this time, I’m so used to letting the system guide me, but now it seems like I may have to figure things out myself and create my own path from now on.
Suddenly:
Ding!
[You have a new Main Quest available!]
[Main Quest: Defeat the aliens and take control of this colossal spaceship. Warning: If you get kicked out into space, it will result in quest failure, and you won’t receive another Main Quest for quite some time.]
[Reward: Portal Cube (Allows you to teleport to random worlds or planets)]
