Chapter 262: Emily
Chapter 262: Emily
It goes without saying that the happenings were immediately spread by the upper class society and the reporters not forgetting to write juicy stories about each and everything that occurred in the Huang banquet, making the people outside question quite a number of things.
The most alarming thing was on how Anna was able to escape the rims of the police.
On seeing how the public had reacted to Anna’s escape, the Big Six family decided not to deal with Anna and Rita in the open, rather let them go through the law and later on snatch them away from prison and deal with them perfectly.
With this line of thought, nothing was meant to go wrong for the Big six family as they settled back into their schedules well apart from the pregnant women who had most of their family members run their companies on their behalf.

Six months later.
*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*
The past few months have been extremely perfect to the Big 6 that the pregnant women were able to flourish perfectly, without any blemishes or without any matters that would stress them or put their pregnancies at risk.
The whole huge family was gathered in the yang mansion as they all sat and talked about random matters, laughter being heard in the room, different people cracking up different jokes and from outside one could actually tell that this was one perfect and peaceful family.
It was at this same moment when the family was busy enjoying that Daniel’s assistant Rick immediately ran into the house, whispering something to Daniel, making the man immediately stand and the teacup on his hand falling down and shattering to pieces.
The whole family was immediately alert on seeing Daniel’s reaction as they could visibly tell the shaking of his hands as one could see the paleness on his face.
"Are you... Are you kidding me? Are you for real?!"
Daniel couldn’t keep his calm any more as he immediately held Rick by his shirt as he vigorously shook him, and the assistant in turn accepted each and every action as he quietly nodded his head, assuring the man.
Daniel felt a great surge of happiness filling his heart as he immediately turned to the Huang elders, and the moment he turned to them, he felt like the what that he was about to say to them had immediately left but he gathered his courage and once again composed himself, and finally aired out what he had just heard from Rick.
"Emily.... She... she’s awake from her coma... Emily is awake...!"
Grandma Huang quickly jolted out of her seat as she pointed at Rick with her walking stick, instructing him to immediately take the whole family there.
Since they were all interested to finally come into contact with Emily Huang, the whole family, the whole of the Big six family immediately took out their cars as they rushed to that one location that Rick was taking them, each and every person in the vehicle having different emotions.
For Grandpa and Grandma Huang, it is the guilt of losing their daughter, of everything that they did to their daughter, and the happiness of finally seeing their daughter once again. For Nicole and Mary, it was their anxiety, or the anxiousness of seeing their mother for the very first time. For someone like Rebecca, it was the happiness of seeing and reuniting with her sister once again, her sister whom she lost contact with, an action that she deeply regrets to date. For Daniel, it is the happiness of finally getting to see a loved one, the happiness of finally getting to see the woman who has owned his heart all these years, the woman who he knows he would cross oceans, he would climb mountains solely for.
"What do you think she looks like? Or what do you think she’ll think about having through grown twin daughters...?"
Nicole, the most nervous sister out of the two, immediately aired out her views to her twin sister, who in turn just patted her shoulder in comfort, reminding her that their mother would love them just the way they are and if there’s anything she’d be happy to finally reunite with her family.
Nicole took her sister’s words into consideration and carefully analyzed them as she finally nodded in assurance because as much as she received love from the Lu family, from the Big Five, she wanted to feel the love of her mother, the woman who gave birth to her, and she was honestly so anxious and nervous that she was going to finally see her.
"Darling, do you think she’s going to forgive us?"
Grandma Huang quietly asked as she fiddled with her fingers, her husband immediately comforting her, reminding her that their daughter will love them, their daughter was going to forgive them, and that their daughter was going to laugh with them, so she should not be worried, she should not be nervous, even though his situation showed that the man was clearly so, so nervous that his hands were shaking, but no one was going to rectify him on that.
The moment they finally arrived at their destination, most of the people couldn’t help but frown as the place looked like just a normal cottage and normal house but it is this same building that housed very, very much advanced technology that was able to keep Emily alive for all those years. Healthy, breathing, just unconscious.
Daniel did not wait for any more instruction as he immediately stormed his way into the house, and as if it was some telepathic kind of understanding, the man immediately found his way into the room and the moment he opened the door, he couldn’t help but freeze on the door. as the woman on the bed was trying to sneeze, she was trying to wipe her nose after a sneeze.
"Emily, my love..."
Daniel softly whispered a whisper that was immediately heard by Emily, who in turn snapped her head towards the direction of the door, and she couldn’t help but freeze the moment she realized the man’s soft but broken voice, and the moment their eyes came in contact, she finally saw the tears that were quietly streaming down his cheeks, and she couldn’t help it but equally cry.
"Daniel.. Daniel.. Wow! I have been asleep for so long that I can’t even differentiate reality and my dreams. Well, I must be hallucinating....I guess...."
On hearing the mockery in her voice, Daniel immediately strode forward as he rushed to her bedside and held her hand in his as he firmly kissed her as he maintained eye contact with her.
The tears in his eyes never showing the signs of drying Up, but instead it was like a whole river had been opened up and it was freely pouring down his face.
"You’re not hallucinating, my love... You are not hallucinating! Look at us. After all these years, we have met again. I missed you so much, Emily, and I wish you knew how much of a beautiful gift you left behind for me..."
Emily didn’t say anything, but firmly held on to Daniel, both people crying so loud as they freely let their tears go down, their faces not bothering to restrict the snot that was equally coming out of their noses, and one could tell how much they missed each other. No words were even needed to say or to describe the situation as their body language, their actions towards each other, could really tell the rest of the family that these are two people whose hearts have been aching for long, two people who are separated and now that they have reunited, they still can’t believe it.
The rest of the family didn’t come in, but instead stood at the door side, some of them, especially the pregnant sensitive ladies, immediately shedding tears while the rest were busy holding on to their partners for strength. Because this was such a beautiful moment, a moment that they never knew they would get to experience.
As if Emily had felt some longing gazes, she immediately lifted her eyes and the moment she came face to face with the two two people who were standing at the door, her heart for a moment felt a slight sense of panic before she tried to harden her face but she just couldn’t the moment she saw tears running down her parents face.
"Mom... Dad... You... You... You’re here to separate us again! I should have known...."
One could hear the pain behind her voice, and one could see the pain written all over her face as she tried to accommodate her parents but one could say that she was trying so hard to deal with past memories that were in fact resurfacing at a very fast rate.
"I can even kneel down to you right now, my dear daughter. I know I have not been the best of the mother that anyone would wish for. I have my shortcomings. I have my mistakes as a mother and... Believe me or not, each and every day that you were gone...I.."
Grandma Huang did not hesitate but immediately tried to speak up because she never knew what was running in her daughter’s mind, and if she did not strike the rod while hot, then she might never earn the forgiveness of her child.
