The Tycoon’s Enchanted Mermaid
Chapter 189: Arrival

Chapter 189: Chapter 189: Arrival

Qin Yu settled into the seat, and Ah Da shifted her buttocks to the side, clinging to her hat and phone, her rosy cheeks puffed up slightly, clearly not wanting to be close to him.

He was simply malicious. He had carried her over just a few minutes ago and had not forgotten to bully her even then.

The man was tall and broad, and his entrance felt oppressive like a small mountain, casting a shadow that could not be ignored. Ah Da had no choice but to turn her head and press against the window.

Just as she was about to unlock her phone to continue following the trending searches, a large hand reached over and pulled her toward him. When her cheek pressed against his warm chest and her nose filled with his familiar cold scent, Ah Da could only begrudgingly pout and hammer his waist with her phone.

"How can you stay mad for so long?"

Qin Yu chuckled lightly, pinning her wrist while encircling her from behind with his long arm. He imprisoned her in front of him and snatched the phone away, tossing it aside.

Ah Da watched helplessly as her hat and phone were thrown away, her hand caught, and a large hand at her waist as unyielding as steel. She realized she was like a small cat or dog in front of Qin Yu, powerless when he gripped the back of her neck.

Damn it.

Without using Spiritual Power, she simply couldn’t beat him. Ah Da was at her wits’ end with him, especially as he was shamelessly stubborn.

"..."

Suddenly, Qin Yu’s chest received a sharp bite, loosening his grip. The young woman in his arms immediately pushed him away to create some distance, her raven hair a bit frizzy. But paired with her angry eyes, she really looked like a cornered rabbit.

Ah Da huffed coldly, glancing at him as he inspected his chest, a smug smile curving on her lips.

Her little expression was adorably lethal.

Leaning in close, Qin Yu pinched her chin and brushed his fingertips across the neatly lined teeth beneath her lips, whispering low.

"Why do you only know this trick? You haven’t made any progress. No, that’s not quite true, there’s some progress—your teeth have gotten sharper than before."

Ah Da was equally defiant, "Biting you is non-negotiable. Should I just let you bully me? It’s you who should reflect a bit."

Qin Yu responded coolly, "Reflect on what? Reflect on not touching you, or not supposed to..."

His gaze then fell to the curve of her back.

Ah Da was furious. Biting down on his finger, Qin Yu pulled her back into his embrace and kissed her forehead, "Stop squirming; the plane is about to take off."

"Umm... hey, let go first..." Her words were muffled as she bit his finger, and Ah Da realized just how long and thick Qin Yu’s fingers were.

Qin Yu gazed down at her, observing her delicate, rosy skin, her lashes trembling like butterfly wings, the defiance in her glassy eyes, and the cherry hue of her mouth on his finger, the moistness of her lips sending a tremor through his heart.

She was tempting him constantly, his resistance to her nearly non-existent. Any small gesture, even though unintended, had superb effects.

It made his heart itch, just like now.

It was her fault for being too naive, too innocent. Biting a finger was more suggestive, more dangerous than other things. She knew nothing about men; a slight exertion of force could probably make her cry.

Images flashed in his mind, Qin Yu staring at her lips, his Adam’s apple bobbing, a vein throbbing at his temple.

Suddenly, Ah Da was bewildered, having thought she was engaged in a fiery struggle with Qin Yu, only to find his gaze suddenly silent and burning with intensity, quite startling.

The finger in her mouth began to move, pressing her small tongue, hinting at a desire to probe deeper.

What... what did he want...

Panicked, Ah Da tried to spit out the finger from her mouth, but Qin Yu swiftly pinned her down on the couch, ignoring her struggles.

"!?..."

After a moment, Qin Yu leisurely wiped his finger with a tissue, his movements graceful. Ah Da watched, her eyes aching, her shoulders shaking, her teeth clenched, feeling an odd sensation lingering in her mouth.

Qin Yu tossed the tissue into the trash can and lifted his gaze to the small girl curled up on the couch, softly sobbing.

Pitiful and obviously frightened.

Qin Yu pulled her over; without struggling, it seemed she was afraid he would lash out again. She hung her head, looking unbearably aggrieved.

He reached out and drew two more tissues, meticulously wiping the corners of her mouth and the tears from her eyes; both her mouth and eyes were swollen red, her hair tucked behind her ears, which also blushed with the hue of dawn.

Qin Yu pressed his gums, the sweet fruit fragrance spreading in his mouth. It wasn’t enough; he found himself savoring the taste.

He wanted to tease her again.

Ah Da sensed something and, with a pale face, gasped, "No... don’t, I won’t bite you anymore."

Her tender voice trembled. Her damp, doe eyes were all signifying her vulnerability.

How pitiful.

Qin Yu held her, gently stroking her head with his hand, his voice husky, "Don’t be afraid; I won’t tease you anymore."

Ah Da’s cheek pressed against his neck; upon hearing his words, her hanging heart quietly settled.

By then, the ground crew had finished their final checks, packed up their things, and stood up to gesture to Long Qi.

Long Qi walked over to the helicopter, dared not look inside, and just lightly coughed twice, "Third Young Master, we are ready to depart."

"Mhm," Qin Yu nodded.

Long Qi stepped back and signaled the pilot with his hand.

The helicopter slowly ascended.

Ah Da, with her hands pressed against Qin Yu’s chest, took slow breaths, smelling the cold fragrance on him. Her head felt dizzy; she didn’t know if it was from his scent or because of the forceful kiss earlier—it was too heavy, too profound for her to cope with.

She lost all interest in viewing the scenery.

Three hours passed, and Ah Da dozed off, leaving the Capital City behind, oblivious to the world until Qin Yu tried to carry her off the plane and she woke up.

"We’ve arrived," Qin Yu said, extending his hand and looking at the girl who had opened her eyes, as a reminder.

Ah Da hurriedly sat up, "I can walk by myself."

After speaking, she realized she had been sleeping on the couch. She put her feet down, slipped on her sandals, the tips adorned with two snow-white rabbit ears that bobbed as she moved.

Qin Yu helped her off the plane and, upon seeing a crease on her cheek, reached out to smooth it out.

Unexpectedly, this gesture frightened the young girl into stepping back half a step, looking at him in a panic.

Qin Yu’s expression darkened almost instantly as he drew her into his embrace, pressing her against him and pinching her chin, "Don’t be scared of me."

Ah Da bit her lip in grievance, "Shouldn’t I be scared? You...you were like that with me."

She wasn’t actually scared; it was more of a reflex.

Qin Yu’s lips curved slightly, his eyes carrying a cruel glint, his voice cold yet carrying clearly to Ah Da’s ears against the sea breeze, "You need to get used to it fast, because there’s worse pain to come. Wouldn’t you be crying even more then?"

Ah Da’s eyes widened, but Qin Yu laughed lightly, "I’m just teasing you. Relax, look around."

Facing the sea breeze, Ah Da looked around at the peaceful, beautiful ocean, the azure waters almost the same color as the sky. The shoreline was adorned with white seashells of various shapes.

What was truly remarkable were the islands scattered around, irregular in size, with various structures built upon them—pavilions shaped like mushrooms, villas with floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides, and several small yachts moored on the water.

Ah Da found herself healed by the stunning scenery before her.

"This is Malaya Island," Qin Yu announced, taking out a hat with a lotus leaf brim and placing it on Ah Da’s head. He held her hand and walked with her away from the helipad, towards the seashore.

Ah Da marveled as she took in everything around her.
