After walking about five kilometers, He Tiantian, still carrying Qi Zhengmin, felt tired and asked, "Snake King, we don’t need to be invisible anymore, can we wake up Qi Zhengmin and let her walk by herself? I’d feel a bit lighter."

He Tiantian looked at Qi Zhengmin and said, "You’ve forgotten, we just escaped from those bad people. If we got in another bad person’s car, there’s no way we could be lucky enough to escape again."

"But my feet are really hurting..." Qi Zhengmin said quietly, "How about we rest here and hitchhike during the day?"

He Tiantian looked around and countered, "Aren’t you afraid of being drained dry by mosquitoes?"

Qi Zhengmin paused, realizing that there would indeed be many mosquitoes in the countryside in summer.

"Alright, then let’s keep moving forward," Qi Zhengmin said with a grimace, never having experienced such hardship before.

"Don’t be afraid, I’m with you!" He Tiantian said, pulling Qi Zhengmin forward to continue walking.
