Snake King was taken aback, as he had not expected He Tiantian, who always spoke thoughtfully, to come up with such an unreliable metaphor.

Under normal circumstances, Snake King would have mocked He Tiantian, but now that He Tiantian and Qi Zhengmin were in danger, it was in no mood to make fun of her.

"Yes, it was Anna’s relative named Kres who kidnapped Qi Zhengmin. You were just unlucky, being with Qi Zhengmin, and ended up as a sacrificial lamb," Snake King explained, saying the man was very cunning.

He Tiantian felt a wave of disgust, she had to escape.

"Boss, are you really planning to let them go?" the lewd man asked. "Didn’t we agree to make a run for it?"

"Haha, New York is so good, why would I want to leave?" the man said. "We’ll have money anyway and can live an unfettered life anywhere. As for worrying about the police tracing us, that’s a joke. With so many cases in the United States each year, not all perpetrators are found. We’ll be even more cautious, leaving no clues, and still live here freely and comfortably."

After hearing that, He Tiantian cursed silently in her heart, "Country M may have many unsolved cases every year, but you’ve kidnapped someone you shouldn’t have. You are destined for misfortune."

The footsteps drew closer, and He Tiantian, pretending to be unconscious, was extremely anxious.

The lecherous man, reluctantly retracting his hand.

He only felt as though his fingertip had been pricked by a mosquito and gave it no further thought.

"Click, click..." a series of sounds of photographs being taken.

He Tiantian guessed that these people probably didn’t think a phone call was convincing enough to make Qi Shuliang and the others believe that he had the two women, so they decided to take photographs.

Five minutes later, the two men finished taking the photos and left the room.

The room became quiet once more!

He Tiantian opened her eyes, untied herself, and quickly wiped her face with her sleeve.

It was utterly revolting!

"Snake King, after we escape, I really hope that man’s hand rots off," He Tiantian said coldly. Without the help of the Snake King, she would sooner or later be defiled by that lecherous man.

"His hand rotting off would be the least of it!" the Snake King hissed venomously. It hadn’t even touched He Tiantian’s face yet, and some lowlife had managed to do so.

Damn it!

He would die a peculiar and miserable death!

He Tiantian looked at Qi Zhengmin and asked, "Why hasn’t Zhengmin woken up yet?"

"Don’t you think it’s better for her to stay asleep?" the Snake King countered, "Tonight, when we escape, I’ll cast a spell, and you will be invisible. We cannot explain to her, nor do I want her to know about us."

After thinking for a moment, He Tiantian said, "Alright, then let her sleep, and I’ll carry her on my back. Once we’ve escaped and are safe, we’ll wake Qi Zhengmin."

"Hmm, very well," the Snake King agreed, "then let her continue sleeping."

Waiting became even more torturous.

From the sunlight streaming in through the window, He Tiantian concluded that the sun was about to set.

Once it got dark, they could make their move.
