Chapter 359: Chapter 366: What’s Wrong?
The bridal chamber, where men marry for a ’cave’ and women for a ’chamber’; this relationship is rampant among many couples nowadays. For a man, apart from love, the most important thing about marriage is sex, while for a woman, apart from love, it is essential to have a house.
James Brown didn’t marry Gina Lopez for sex, but now, being with Gina Lopez, that’s what they are about to do.
Gina Lopez then stretched out both arms to embrace James Brown, and their lips naturally met in a kiss.
This kiss should be Gina Lopez’s first, and the two of them were just like ancient couples who would kiss only in the bridal chamber.
What followed seemed natural: both were very passionate. Suddenly, Gina Lopez cried out in pain and pushed James Brown away forcefully.
"It hurts so much!" Gina Lopez’s hand was stained with some fresh blood.
"How could this happen?" James Brown was startled. Hadn’t he already been intimate with Gina Lopez? Why then did it seem like she was still a virgin?
Gina Lopez’s brows were tightly furrowed, and she was completely panicked. She might not understand as well as James Brown, but she knew her own body quite clearly. Anxiously, she said, "Could it have broken accidentally?"
James Brown hesitated for a moment but then immediately shook his head. Having experienced much, he understood that this was the situation of Gina Lopez just losing her virginity. He swallowed hard and said, "It did break, but it broke your...******."
"Ah?" Gina Lopez was dumbfounded, and after a long pause, she said, "How could that be? I bled that night too, doesn’t that mean it was already broken? Can it really break a second time?"
Some women have a thicker ******, and it might not break after one or two times. James Brown also considered this possibility, but immediately dismissed it. He was drunk that night, and when drunk, one wouldn’t be gentle. Moreover, since there was blood that night, it must have been the hymen that broke. There shouldn’t be any bleeding this time.
"Could it just be that you’re on your period?" James Brown thought of another possibility.
"That can’t be, it’s only been half a month since the last time, and I’m always very regular," Gina Lopez refuted this possibility as well.
James Brown gave a wry smile and said, "Then what could it be? I’m at a loss. It isn’t some kind of disease, is it? How do you feel now?"
"It just hurts a bit, but I can bear it. It seems like the bleeding has stopped too." Gina Lopez sat up and checked her body, not avoiding James Brown. After all, they were husband and wife, and having just engaged in that act, there was no need for modesty anymore.
"Let’s go to the hospital for a check-up tomorrow. It’s best if there’s no problem, but if there is, we should treat it early. I guess it could be some gynecological issue."
"That’s possible," Gina Lopez nodded, and then with some guilt said to James Brown, "I spoiled the mood."
James Brown wrapped his arms around Gina Lopez’s shoulders and gently kissed her face, saying, "We have a long life ahead of us, we’re not missing out on just one day."
"Mhm," Gina Lopez nodded, then cleaned herself up a bit and said, "Let’s go to sleep."
The two of them lay down, with Gina Lopez snuggling into James Brown’s embrace. Even though they had not fully enjoyed themselves just now, getting this close to James Brown made her feel significantly closer to him.
James Brown was also holding Gina Lopez. She was now his wife, the person he would embrace for a lifetime.
The next morning, James Brown got up early to make breakfast. Soon after, Gina Lopez also got up, freshened up, and came to the kitchen. She smiled charmingly at James Brown and said, "Good morning, husband."
Gina Lopez felt the word ’husband’ might be embarrassing to say, but after the affectionate evening with James Brown, the word came out naturally.
"Good morning, wife," James Brown also smiled and replied, then leaned in to kiss Gina Lopez’s face.
Gina Lopez returned the kiss, looking even more enchanting, which made James Brown want to be affectionate with her again right then.
"Sister, Brother-in-law, good morning!" Emily Lopez ran out from the bedroom, excitedly greeting them.
"Huh, how come you’re up so early?" Gina Lopez was surprised to see Emily Lopez, her sister who loved to sleep in, who could only be coaxed out of bed after being called several times. Yet today, she had gotten out of bed on her own, and so early at that—it was as if the Sun had risen from the west.
Emily Lopez looked over both of them with a grin and said, "I’m in a good mood today."
"Why are you in such a good mood? Is there something to be happy about?" James Brown asked with a smile.
Emily Lopez suddenly burst into loud laughter, but then quickly restrained herself and said, "Seeing how loving you two are, it must mean things are going well between you. Isn’t that enough to be happy about?"
Gina Lopez blushed, glared at her, and said, "None of your business, hurry up and wash up, so we can eat."
Emily Lopez blinked and looked at Gina Lopez again, saying, "Sis, haven’t you noticed something’s off?"
Gina Lopez looked at her puzzled and asked, "What’s off?"
"That is... when you guys went to bed, didn’t you notice anything was off?" Emily Lopez asked slyly.
"When we went to bed... you little brat, you didn’t hide and eavesdrop, did you?" Gina Lopez, both angry and embarrassed, glared fiercely at Emily Lopez.
The expression on Emily Lopez’s face became somewhat strange as she said, "You really didn’t notice anything was off?"
"Enough! Do you want me to kick you out and not let you stay here anymore?" Gina Lopez roared.
Emily Lopez scratched her head and muttered something inaudible to both, then turned and walked out.
"That damn Emily." Gina Lopez cursed, then turned to James Brown with a blushing face and said, "Honey, let’s move to a different house. The sound insulation in this one isn’t good."
Now that Gina Lopez was officially James Brown’s wife, he just smiled and said, "Okay, then we’ll look for a bigger one later."
Gina Lopez was actually worried that James Brown might feel hurt by her wanting to buy a house, as he had no money currently, and if they were to buy a house, she would have to be the one to pay for it. However, seeing that James Brown agreed so naturally put her mind at ease.
After the three of them had breakfast, James Brown said to Gina Lopez, "Wife, let’s head to the hospital for a check-up later."
Emily Lopez was acting unusually this morning, sneaking glances at James Brown and Gina Lopez. James thought Emily was behaving this way because she knew he and Gina Lopez had been intimate, so he didn’t stare back at her. But when James said those words, Emily’s eyes suddenly brightened.
Gina Lopez’s face turned red, "There’s really no need; I’m fine."
"No, we must check. Otherwise, I won’t be at ease," James Brown insisted firmly.
Gina Lopez hesitated, but finally nodded her head under the intense gaze of James Brown, and said, "Then let’s go have a look."
Immediately, Emily Lopez raised her voice and said, "I’m coming too."
Gina Lopez gave her a sharp look and said, "Aren’t you going to work?"
"You’re going to the hospital, how can I, as your sister, not accompany you?"
"I just have a minor ailment, I don’t need you there being all noisy."
"I won’t be, I’ll just be there for you guys. How can you not trust your sister’s concern for you?"
Gina Lopez was definitely going to have a gynecological exam, which she felt embarrassed about Emily attending, but Emily insisted on following, even going so far as to board James Brown’s car. In the end, the three of them ended up going to the hospital together.
