Chapter 358: Chapter 362 Really

Gina Lopez was not at home when James Brown massaged Emily Lopez’s feet, and he was already feeling excited, but now that Gina Lopez was at home, James Brown was even more thrilled. There was a kind of thrill akin to having an affair, a sensation that was truly indescribable and ineffable.

Besides paying attention to Gina Lopez, James Brown also kept an eye on Emily Lopez. He saw that she was staring at the TV, but her little face was flushing red, her gaze hazy as if she had no idea what was being shown on the screen.

"Haha, that’s so funny." Emily Lopez suddenly laughed loudly twice, then immediately covered her mouth, as if afraid her voice was too loud.

James Brown was startled for a moment, then looked towards the TV, which was showing commercials, nowhere near amusing enough to laugh at. Turning back to Emily, saw her wink at him playfully.

James couldn’t help but chuckle. This girl was clearly pretending to laugh for Gina Lopez to hear, indicating she was earnestly watching the TV.

This reminded James of the times they played mahjong together. Back then, Emily maintained a poker face while covertly playing a suggestive little game with their feet under the table.

James found this game quite entertaining. Holding Emily’s small feet in his hands was irresistible. The kneading, pinching, and caressing brought endless enjoyment.

"Brother-in-law, my sister works so hard, why don’t you bring her some fruit," Emily suddenly retracted her feet and winked at James Brown.

James had already heard Gina getting up, so he took the opportunity to stand and even moved a few steps to the side, saying, "I’ll go get her some right now."

"No need, I’m tired too. I’ll come out and rest for a bit." Gina was already at the doorway, heading towards the sofa.

Although Emily was lying on the sofa, James was positioned quite far from her. He should have been sitting on the adjacent Queen’s Couch, so Gina didn’t think too much of it and sat down next to Emily’s feet, patting her legs, saying, "Move over a bit there."

Emily grumbled a bit and drew her legs in slightly but still maintained a lying position.

James then sat down and asked, "Want some fruit?"

Gina smiled and replied, "I’ll get it myself."

James nodded but then didn’t know what else to say to Gina, who simply picked up a cherry and started eating it in silence.

At that moment, Emily snickered and said, "I tell you, sister, brother-in-law, the two of you remind me of a phrase."

Gina, sensing her sister was up to no good, still asked sternly, "What phrase?"

"Treating each other with formal courtesy. Just look at you two, speaking so politely as if you were guests. Isn’t that treating each other with formal courtesy?"

Both James and Gina felt a bit embarrassed then. Indeed, a married couple acting so formally towards each other was somewhat inappropriate. Yet, for both of them to act more intimate all of a sudden was difficult to achieve on the spot.

With a mischievous glint in her eyes and a teasing smile, Emily said, "Hehe, I understand, you two are just not used to this marital relationship. But I can teach you a trick to quickly resolve this awkwardness and become a loving couple."

James immediately guessed what Emily was hinting at, while Gina, clueless, eagerly asked, "How?"

Seeing how seriously Gina asked, James felt somewhat embarrassed. It seemed that Gina was more committed to improving their relationship, while he clearly was not as earnest as she was.

"Hehe, go to bed. As long as you go to bed, when you wake up the next morning, you’ll definitely be very affectionate," Emily suggested playfully.

Gina’s face turned tomato red in an instant, she said indignantly, "You crazy girl, what nonsense are you talking about?" and then she stood up and ran into the bathroom.

Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, Gina stared at her flushed face, her mind in turmoil.

Even though she and James had had an encounter in a drunken haze, she had been completely unaware at that time. Therefore, the idea of truly being intimate with James made her inexplicably nervous. Yet, she also knew that Emily’s suggestion wasn’t a bad idea. Indeed, her relationship with James had progressed thanks to their few intimate encounters.

"So, are you going to... with him tonight?" Gina Lopez suddenly covered her face with her hands, finding the topic too embarrassing to handle.

In the living room, Emily Lopez had already sat up, grinning at James Brown, "Brother-in-law, you’re not going to be all prim and proper tonight, are you?"

James Brown cleared his throat twice. Talking about this with Emily Lopez made him feel awkward, especially since he had just been fiddling with Emily’s little feet not too long ago.

"Hehe, go for it, brother-in-law! You have to win my sister over tonight – I’m rooting for you," said Emily Lopez as she stood up. "I don’t want to be a nuisance, so I’ve decided to go to bed now."

After taking a shower, Emily Lopez returned to her room. At that time, Gina Lopez said to James, "You go take a shower first. I still have some things to deal with, then I’ll shower. I’ve laid out a change of clothes for you on top of the washing machine."

Gina’s words sounded much like a wife speaking to her husband, filling James’s heart with warmth. Smiling, he replied, "Alright, don’t overwork yourself."

"Mm, I’ll be done soon. Go shower."

After James Brown finished his shower and came back to the bedroom, Gina Lopez had already shut down her computer. As their gazes met, a blush climbed her cheeks, and she whispered, "I’m going to take a shower," then quickly squeezed past James.

James Brown lay on the bed, feeling a sudden surge of excitement. He and Gina were legally married and had already been intimate. To be together in that sense once more was nothing out of the ordinary.

Especially considering Gina’s shy demeanor just now – it was clear that she wouldn’t refuse tonight. He could have his way with her.

Gina, in such a state, was indeed charming. James Brown found himself looking forward to her return. Having become husband and wife, it was his duty to fulfill his role. To not offer his "tribute" would simply be out of the question.

However, Gina Lopez took more than half an hour, dawdling before she finally returned to the bedroom. She was wearing a thin, transparent camisole slip dress that revealed swathes of skin. The slight flush from her recent bath enhanced her allure, causing James’s gaze to stick firmly to her.

Gina’s appearance made James’s heart race as if hit by Cupid’s arrow. She had spent so long in the shower, brewing her emotions, and now she had bravely faced James’s intense gaze.

Standing at the doorway, Gina inhaled deeply twice before saying, "I’m... turning off the lights."

"Mm-hmm," James responded, switching on the bedside lamp. Gina Lopez then turned off the lights and slowly approached the edge of the bed.

Seeing Gina’s timid behavior, James suddenly thought of ancient times, where couples had no contact before their wedding night. The wedding night was truly the first togetherness, and he imagined they must have felt as nervous as he and Gina did now.

He reasoned that if such couples could live lovingly, then he and Gina’s life together wouldn’t be so bad either. He smiled and said to Gina who still stood by the bed, "Come to bed. You’re not planning to stand all night, are you?"

James’s tone was relaxed, neither too eager nor too cool, putting Gina at ease. She softly agreed, sat on the edge of the bed, then flopped down, lying on the bed but still at a considerable distance from James.

James Brown was no novice. His experiences in bed were quite extensive. Though not often the first for someone, Melody Yoody, Helen Wilson, and Emma Campbell all were, so he was familiar with the situation and understood that Gina was still nervous.

It was utterly unrealistic to expect Gina to take the initiative at this moment, so James rolled over and embraced Gina from behind.

Gina’s body tensed instantly, her breathing becoming rapid, yet she did not dodge or resist, simply letting James hold her.

James, exerting a little pressure, remarked, "Move in a bit more, or you’ll fall off the bed. If people knew that I, as the husband, made my wife sleep on the floor, they would laugh at me."

As expected, Gina moved inward, but her nervousness seemed hardly alleviated.

James shifted slightly forward, his body now pressing against Gina’s, and whispered softly, "Gina, tonight might as well be our wedding night."

The heat of James’s breath on Gina’s neck tickled her, and his closeness reminded her of that wonderful, thrilling sensation of losing herself in the moment. Her initial nervousness swiftly transformed into passion.
