Chapter 331: Leaving Lockwood City

Four days after Sarah had woken up, finally, Henry had completed all the arrangements that he was having during the time that he was here. It was finally time for him to depart from this place.

He had already completed setting up a foundation for this city. In the future, as long as he came back, as long as this city survived, and as long as the top management of the territory still remained, he was going to be able to easily take over this territory.

Henry had already realized that currently, there were no any other threatening forces that were around this city. And due to that reason, as long as Nancy led this place well, they would definitely be capable of surviving until he came back.

Although it was true that currently, they had not completely eliminated the zombies that were present in the city, but still, they were not that far away from being capable of completely eradicating them.

For the zombies, it was better to make sure that there was not even a single survivor among them. A single zombie could turn an entire city into a haven for the zombies.

The zombies were able to infect humans easily. And once the number of zombies doubled, they would keep on doubling, with the process repeating itself over and over again, easily making an entire city of humans turn into an entire city of zombies.

Nevertheless, with the current manpower and equipment that was present within the territories that was currently being led by Nancy, it was definitely not going to be troublesome for them to be able to eliminate the zombies.

As for Henry, he had already completed the goal that had brought him here. His aim was to make sure that Olivia and Sarah found their families. Although Sarah had not found hers, but at least she found information about where they had gone to.

Since all of this had already been completed, Henry decided that it was finally time for him to leave. He was not the only one who was looking forward to leaving this place considering that even Adam, who had already been impatient, was getting even more impatient about leaving this place.

On the other hand, Sarah had already joined his ranks. She was also impatient about going to Hillstown City. According to the information, her family had gone there. Although it was not a sure bet that they would have actually arrived there, she hoped that they would.

With everything in place, Henry and the group entered into the Jeep. This was the first time that the others were entering into the Jeep. The moment that they stepped into the Jeep, they could not help but be dumbfounded.

The jeep had actually transformed to a level that they could not even recognize it anymore. Of course, they understood that it was the very same Jeep that they had been seeing before, considering that the outlook didn’t change by much.

But still, this kind of transformation, wasn’t this too overpowered? After all, turning a vehicle into a moving house, this was definitely not something that they had experienced, especially during the time of the apocalypse.

"Henry, are you sure that this is the very same Jeep that we have been having ever since the first day of the apocalypse?" Adam asked as he looked at Henry suspiciously. He thought that Henry had perhaps exchanged the Jeep with another.

The matter of the space within the Jeep being extremely big as compared to what other people could see from the outside was not something that they were seeing for the first time.

But still, the space within the Jeep had been increased drastically. Moreover, why was it that there were several things that were only found within houses within the Jeep?

Even though they were not sure if those beds and couches together with the utensils that could be found within the kitchen in the Jeep were actually present with the upgrade of the Jeep, or they had been brought over by Henry using his ability, they didn’t care.

"Of course it is the same. Didn’t you see the registration plate?" Henry responded nonchalantly.

Adam did not say anything else, instead, he went ahead and continued observing the Jeep. At this point, he realized just how terrifying the ability that Henry possessed was.

He was not the only one who had realized this, but Julie, Sarah, Olivia, and even Diana together with Dylan had all realized the same.

At this point, Adam looked at the others and said, "I hope that none of you talk about this matter to anybody that is not related to our group. Believe me or not, if there is any one of you that is going to try and give information to the enemies about what my brother Henry can do, I will hunt you down. It doesn’t matter if you are stronger than me, but believe me, I’m going to take you down with me if I have to."

As Adam spoke, the expression on his face was frosty. At the same time, a hint of killing intent was revealed from his body. It was very clear to everyone that whatever Adam was saying, he was meaning it.

Henry observed everything silently. Although he did not say anything, he really appreciated what Adam was doing. And at this point, he felt that what he had been doing for Adam who was with him for over a decade was definitely not enough. It seemed that he had to favor this brother of his more than this.

Nobody responded to what Adam had said. But the look on their faces was enough to tell anybody that they had consented with what Adam had said. In any case, it was not as if any of them was intending on giving out information to an enemy of theirs.

Not to mention the fact that they did not want to be Henry’s enemies, they did not want to betray the group. After all, what Henry had done for them was definitely not something that they could find anywhere else.

Henry went ahead and patted Adam’s shoulder. When Adam felt the familiar hold on his shoulder, finally, the killing intent that was coming out of his body receded.

"We are a team. I do believe that nobody will do something like that." Henry stated. At the same time, he looked at the others, without saying anything. But still, the others also understood that Henry was definitely supporting Adam.

In any case, it was not as if what Adam had said was wrong. In fact, it was related to him, so, even if Adam decided not to take action, Henry was definitely going to make sure that whoever it was that had betrayed him was going to be eliminated from this world.

Olivia did not say anything, but she understood everything clearly. It might be true that they had been together for a long time, but still, it was clear that they did not trust each other fully enough to be able to completely leave themselves vulnerable in the presence of the others.

Even her herself, although she trusted Henry and the others, she had never gotten herself in a situation where she was going to leave her life in their hands. But still, that was something that was going to happen sooner.

And to say the truth, currently, Olivia considered Henry, Adam, and Julie as part of her friends. So, in case anything happened to them, she was definitely going to make sure that whoever it was that was responsible for it paid heavily.

So, there was no need to talk about the matter of her betraying them. Unless they were the ones who had betrayed her, there was no way that she was going to make them her enemies.

As for Sarah, she had been saved from the very first day by Henry and Adam. Although they had done it without the intention of saving her, but still, they did so. Henry went ahead and provided her with a chance of awakening, even giving her a chance of getting the SS grade profession.

With that, she was already thankful. But still, Henry provided her with the equipment and the skills that she currently possessed. And when she was in a coma, he was the person who had helped her out of that situation, where she was about to be overwhelmed by the dark mist that was in her body. So, the matter of her betraying him was definitely not even in her mind.

As for Julie, of course there was no way that she was going to do anything like that. She had already realized that if she wanted to reach the highest level, then, the only person that she was supposed to follow was Henry. And that was what she had decided that she was going to do.

Dylan and Diana, the two of them were Henry’s summoned creatures. There was the smallest probability of the two of them betraying Henry, as compared to the other members of the group.

"Okay. I think that everything is completed here. It is finally time for us to leave." Henry decided to change the topic. He did not want things to become a little stiff.

Olivia and the others nodded their heads. Olivia had already made preparations for her family. She had requested Henry to give her several skill scrolls and equipment that she handed over to her parents. This was just a method that she was using to make sure that they would be secure during the time that she was away.

With everything in position, Henry entered into the control room of the Jeep, before he began driving the Jeep, and not long after, they had completely left Lockwood City, heading towards the direction of Hillstown city.
