Then, there was the outside of the city. On the eastern part of the city, there was another city that was still undergoing development. This was a city that was being built by goblins.

The goblins had already realized that it was going to be extremely difficult for them to be able to take over Hillstown city. So, after the descent of the third stage of the apocalypse, the higher ups of the goblin race decided to build a fort of their own.

During the first and the second stage of the apocalypse, all the goblins that had descended had already been eliminated. Of course they had been eliminated by the combination of the zombies and the humans.

Those goblins that had descended did not possess much intelligence. To them, all that they wanted was chaos. So, the moment that they descended, they immediately attacked the settlements of the humans and the city as a whole, where the majority of the zombies were located.

But that was the biggest mistake that they could do. Although they could actually cause a lot of damage to the humans, but the same could not be said about the zombies. The population of the zombies themselves was completely overwhelming.

So, the moment that the goblins attacked the zombies, the zombies overwhelmed the goblins, easily killing all of them. And since the goblins possessed the humanoid figure, although they could not transform into zombies after they had been bitten by the zombies, but still, the zombies enjoyed the flavor of the brain.

And just like that, the goblins were completely wiped out. And during the third stage of the apocalypse, when the next wave of goblins descended into this world, there were several goblins that possessed great intelligence.

With the intelligence that they possessed, they realized that it was going to be impossible for them to be able to take over the city. It was not only due to the development of the humans in the city, but it was also due to the presence of the zombies inside the city.

Moreover, it was not just the threat of the zombies and the humans that existed. But in the forest that was not far away from their location, there existed monsters. And since this was the battle for domination between races, there were no collaborations that had been forged so far.

On the other hand, on the outskirts of the city, several territories had already been constructed. It was just that these territories were actually not from one force, but instead, they were from different forces.

While they were busy trying to combat the members of the other races, they competed against each other. Of course, each territory wanted to swallow the other, so that they could take over control over the humans of this city.

Part of the territories that had been constructed was the one that was currently led by the military. This was the biggest territory present in the entire city.

Initially, it was the second one. But after it gained back up from the soldiers that came from different cities, it immediately became the strongest. Currently, it was the one that possessed the majority of the resources that had appeared during the third stage of the apocalypse.

The territory that followed behind the one that was led by the military was a territory called Trista Territory. This territory also possessed incredible power. Additionally, it also controlled some of the major resource points present during the apocalypse.

But it was also due to this reason that the military led territory was almost going at war with this territory. At first, it was just the matter of trying to maintain the previous government system. According to the military, they were actually trying to make sure that peace and order did not fully get forgotten.

The presence of the other territories implied that those that were in charge of these territories were trying to rebel against the current government. So, they had to be dealt with.

The only reason why they had not attacked until now was simply because they understood that if they forced things, they were definitely going to suffer incredible losses.

But that was something that they did not want. If they suffered losses, the zombies, the goblins, and the monsters that were looking at them with greedy gazes would definitely take the chance. Additionally, it was not just the members of the other races, but the members of the other two territories would also do the same.

In this city, there were a total of four territories. But the other two did not possess much combat capability. Still, in case the military decided to fight against them, they were definitely going to suffer some losses as well. And if they did so, they were going to lose the advantage that they possessed against Trista territory.

Due to this reason, it had been a stalemate between the territories who wanted to take over. Well, it was only the military led territory that wanted to take over the entire city. As for the other territories, they were only focusing on developing themselves in order to deal with the apocalypse.

At this moment, outside of Trista territory, there was a large number of vehicles that had gathered here. The majority of the vehicles here belonged to the military. But still, they were reinforced, looking completely domineering as compared to the military vehicles that existed before the apocalypse.

The other vehicles looked ordinary. But nevertheless, just like the military vehicles, they had also been reinforced. Still, the number of vehicles on the other side could not compete with the vehicles that belonged to the military.

In between the vehicles, there was a group of people that was facing each other with solemn expressions on their faces. Tension was filling the air, and it looked like it was going to lead to a battle erupting at any moment.

On the military side, there was a group of 25 people. Each one of them was putting on an armor. But the armors they were putting on were customized, with added camouflage patterns on them, trying to imply that they belonged to the military.

On the other side, there was a group of about 20 people. They were wearing armors, but they were not uniform. This was simply because the armors that they were putting on were not customized.

At the forefront of the group of the military, there was a lady. She was currently having blonde hair that was tied into a ponytail behind her. There was a military cape on her head, while she was wearing the military armor and a pair of military boots.

In her hands, she was holding a crossbow. Her brown eyes were filled with coldness as she looked at the group of people in front of her. The killing intent that was surging out of her body was terrifying, but still, it was kind of restricted.

She looked like a lady who was in her late 20s. But the aura that she possessed was not something that could be ignored by the group of people in front of her.

All the soldiers that were standing behind her wore just respectful expressions as they looked at her. It was clear that she was the leader of this group of soldiers that had come over to the Trista territory.

On the other side, the person who was leading this group of people was a young man. He possessed short black hair, green eyes, putting on a pair of green armor, well on his back, there was a spear.

He was having his hands crossed in front of his chest as he looked at the lady in front of him. His expression was solemn, but the contempt in his eyes could not be hidden as he looked at the lady.

He possessed a muscular stature, with a tall body of about 197 cm. He looked extremely domineering standing in front of the 182 cm lady. Just like the lady, there was a hint of killing intent that was coming out of his body, but it was also restricted.

"Are you going to change that statement or not?" Not intimidated by the young man in front of her, the lady asked in a cold tone.

The young man chuckled a little. Then, looking at the lady in front of him, he said with a sneer on his face, "Yes, I’m not going to change the statement that I just said. And in case you did not hear it clearly, I will repeat myself. I just said that we are not going to submit to the military."

"You people of the military believe that you are extremely righteous. But it is not as if we don’t know what you are doing. You are actually sacrificing members of your own group, for small benefits. And I’m pretty sure that had it not been for the fact that there is a group of people that are eyeing us right now, you would have definitely not hesitated to attack this territory." The young man continued without a change of expression on his face.

"Are you sure about this?" With a grim expression on her face, the young lady from the military asked once again.
