Chapter 330: Clearing the City

"When are we going there?" Sarah immediately asked. This time, the question was directed towards Henry.

Henry who had been silent the entire time, finally spoke up. "Once everything is done here, we are going to leave."

Currently, Henry was having a plan that he was supposed to complete. And that was, to make sure that all the territories within this city were going to be integrated. Immediately after that, he was going to start his journey to his hometown.

As for the matter of dealing with the two territories, and making sure that they were integrated into the current territory, that was definitely not a problem. With the manpower that he currently possessed, it was definitely going to happen very soon. In at most one week, he would definitely be done with this matter.

After hearing that, Sarah became silent. To say the truth, she was getting impatient about going to look for her family. But thinking about Henry and Adam, the two of them actually had families that they had not seen for the past over 10 years.

Olivia also understood the urgency of the matter. So, she decided that they were going to complete the matter of the integration of the two territories into the one that they were currently in as soon as possible.

She really cared about Sarah. So, since currently, Sarah was worried about her family, and she also possessed a good relationship with Sarah’s family, she was definitely going to help her.

The group went on to talk for a little while more, strategizing on what they were going to do after reaching at Hillstown city. Of course Henry did not speak much, because to him, there was no need for them to plan something, when they didn’t have any information about the place that they were going to.

Still, Henry realized something. It seemed that in Hillstown city, there was definitely another force that was flourishing there. It was just that he did not know if this force that was there was something that was going to be advantageous to his family or not.

Nevertheless, thinking about the fact that the military was being mobilized without thinking about their safety, just to inform soldiers in other places to Move from their own cities to another, if it was actually this force that was the one that was dominating Hillstown City, Henry believed that it was definitely not going to be good for his family.

Henry on the other hand decided to go ahead and distribute the skill scrolls that he had already purchased from the system. Of course he only focused on members of his team. Any other person, he really didn’t care much about them.

In any case, it was not as if the warehouse of this territory did not possess the skill scrolls and equipment that could be utilized by other people. And that was not all. During the time that they had been killing the zombies, the ones at the gold rank, a few skill scrolls had dropped.

The stronger this territory became, the stronger his strength would be in the future when he took over the entire territory. That was especially so for the territory that was led by Simon. Simon had already consented, agreeing to have the two territories being merged. As for the other territory, the leader of that territory had already been destroyed.

As for his subordinates, they were not a problem to take care of. In fact, in this apocalypse, it was extremely rare to find a group of people that were extremely loyal to the people that they acted like they were.

As long as they gained a benefit that was bigger than the one that they were gaining from the person that they were following, they would definitely abandon the person that they had already sworn their loyalty to.

With the two territories already subdued, Henry had already completed his work with the two territories. The remaining matters were going to be handled by Nancy. As for himself, the only thing that he had to make sure to deal with was with the zombies.

Although a large number of zombies had attacked the three territories previously, they were actually not the zombies of the entire city. Still, in several parts of the city, there was a large number of zombies.

Clearing the zombies was definitely not much of a problem for the current three territories considering that they possessed incredible equipment, together with skills.

With the upgraded jeeps and other vehicles that had been handed over by Henry to the two territories after they had taken them over, they began clearing up the surrounding areas.

Although it was true that the power level of the zombies had increased during the third stage of the apocalypse, but still, as compared to the power that the three territories possessed, it was definitely not having much of a big impact.

But of course, that was definitely not going to be the case if they allowed the zombies to continue existing. If the zombies continued being present, they would definitely get stronger. Henry was not really sure on how the zombies became strong, but as time went by, they became stronger.

As they dealt with the zombies, the power level of the people of the three territories increased drastically. This was due to the advantage that existed during the third stage of the apocalypse, where humans could level up easier than before.

Other than that, there were several equipment, skill scrolls, and the mutation crystals that were being collected by the three territories combined.

With the mutation crystals, Henry was the one that was handling them. He was using them to upgrade vehicles and other things within the territory. Additionally, he left those that possessed the non-combat professions to deal with studying the things that he had upgraded.

If it was before the third stage of the apocalypse, it would have been impossible for the group of people to study the items and vehicles that were upgraded by Henry using the system. But with the presence of the various materials and resources that had appeared during the third stage of the apocalypse, all of this was made possible.

Although the possibility was minimal considering that all of this was the work of the system, but still, no matter how small the probability was, perhaps it could give an idea to the people on how they were going to try to make sure that they created something of the same level as those items that had been upgraded by the system.

The matters of the research and the others related to the clearing of the zombies of the entire city were things that Henry was not going to witness.
