Eric was in so much pain. But as soon as he exited the school, his pain subsided leaving behind a numb feeling.

While he was in a daze, his brother dragged him to the hospital and made the doctors do an extensive check again.

Only when the doctors gave him, the okay did Haolei let out a breath of relief.

On the way back Eric silently gazed out the window. In the silence, his mind wandered to what had happened today.

’what am I going to do if the men in black really came for my life.’

His worried eyes peered at his brother. Poor Haolei’s had deep black circles around his eyes.

Eric’s heart clenched. ’My brother might be in danger too....’

’Should I leave... should I run away from everything...’

Eric closed his eyes tightly.

He could still remember the way the men shot his co-systems down. it was brutal. They all disappeared into nothing in just as a few milliseconds. He did not wish to be like that. he did not wish for his loved ones to see him like that as well.

’What must I do... I can’t... I can’t die.... I refuse to die like that.’

’I have to think of a way to escape these men... but how...’ he bit his lips anxiously. He couldn’t come up with anything. Sighing, he leaned back, hitting his head on the seat rest. ’Okay let’s think of why this happened. This cyber-attack might not be random. I didn’t face any issues before but after so long they found me. how? It’s definitely related to that stupid system.’

he started to feel a strange sense of panic. he had seen the system getting annihilated by the men in black. he did not want anything to happen to his system. after all this guy had accompanied him through all his life.

Eric anxiously tapped on his thigh. He closed his eyes and thought about the moment he lost consciousness.

’I was in class and the teacher was teaching something. I had no clue what it was... then I opened my physics book and I... I saw a vision. No, it was a memory!

He hurriedly pulled the bag from the back seat and pulled out his physics book. He flipped through.

"Eric!" a loud voice snapped him back to reality.

"Huh. Yeah..." he glanced at his brother.

Haolei immediately parked the car in a random corner and glanced at him with a deep frown. "Fuck you look pale... here, drink water." He held out a bottle of water.

With trembling hands, Eric took it from him and gulped it down.

"Jung, no Eric, what is going on? Is it something related to your cultivation? yin yang something? I just don’t understand! you have to explain it to me clearly. I can’t watch you getting sick like this."

Eric peered at him, unblinking. "No, it’s not related to that. It’s nothing actually..."

"I fear something might happen to you if I tell you...."

Haolei’s grip on him suddenly tightened. "Is anyone threatening you?" he growled softly

"no one is threatening me... its... its something out of this world." he silently nuzzled against his warm shoulder. ’System can I tell him the truth, please.’

"Brother... I’m sorry," Eric looked up at him apologetically.

"it’s okay kid," Haolei gently patted the top of his head. "Sit tight let’s get home." He started to drive away.

On the way, Haolei cast a small smile at him. "Right on your first day, you managed to pull a cute girl your way"

"Oh please. She was sticking to me... and you know me. I’m not interested in girls. Only my Yuri is my significant other,"

Haolei raised his brows. "Sometimes you act like a fanatic fan of that guy."

"I am... he is a person who is very significant to me. just like you. you are my brother and he is my one and only husband in this and all my lives..."

Just after hearing this Haolei’s expression became stiff.

Eric did not notice this, he sat there with a small smile on his face

the thought of Aaron’s face and Yuri’s face brought him immense joy. Every single worry that had plagued his mind disappeared at that instant.

The car reached their home in no time but as Eric was about to open the car door Haolei stopped him.

"um... we got a lead on your friend Yuri’s location."

Eric immediately sat back down. he excitedly grabbed his hand. "Where is he? Is he close by? Can we go and visit him now... I miss him so much!~ Haolei come on tell me~ you must not keep it suspense for long~ I’m so excited."

Haolei finally held his hand and peered into his eyes. "its..."

Seeing his serious expression Eric calmed down. "What is it? is there something wrong with him? is... is he okay? is Yuri okay!"

"He is okay...."

"Then tell me where he is!"

"He has been transferred to united states."
