After tossing a bomb his way, Haolei calmly got out of the car and opened the door for him.

Eric just blankly stared up at him. "Are you pranking me? If you are doing so, it’s not fun at all...."

Haolei shook his head. "I wish I was." He held his hand and gently tugged him out of the car and led him up to their house.

Along the way, the few grandmas who chilled by the stairs there glanced his way. "How was your first day of school?"

Before they could react, Haolei hurried eric back to their floor.

The famous grandmas of the building looked at their disappearing back with a small sigh. "isn’t he too young to have a boyfriend?"

"And he got dumped. Poor kid no wonder he was in such a dazed state."

Eric who had a keen sense of hearing, heard their conversation from a floor above. "d-dumped? No, I didn’t get dumped..." he mumbled, grabbing Haolei’s hand tightly.

Tears formed in his eyes, fogging his vision.

"Shit," Haolei pulled him into a hug. "its... its all going to be okay. don’t waste your tears over a man,"

Haolei hurriedly fished out the keys to unlock the door. To his surprise, the door was unlocked.

His vigilance went up a notch. "Eric stay out here, okay?" he dropped the keys in his hand and pulled out his gun.

Slowly, he entered the house with his gun held up high.

There was a small scraping sound coming from the kitchen.

Haolei dashed that way ready to shoot down the people who invaded his house.

"ah! Ahhh." Lai screamed hugging a tub of ice cream. "Haolei.... Haolei what will I do?" He sobbed, throwing himself into his arm.

Haolei pushed him away and safely stowed his gun away. "What the fuck dude? How many times have I warned you not to break into my house like that? one day or another you are bound to get shot in the head." He pushed him away.

Lai’s puffy, tear-stained face came to view.

Haolei grimaced. When his precious brother shed tears, his heart would clench and he would feel unbearable pain. Not only that, eric had a strange beauty to him when he cried. Comparing that to this pig’s face, he felt disgusted.

Lai without knowing that he was being hated, clung to his arms sobbing. "What will I do... what on earth will I do Hao..."

"First shut up, this is a residential apartment," pushing his friend into the couch he went out to eric.

The poor child was sobbing silently with his head lowered.

"Come in," he half hugged him and led him in.

"Oh my god, you have a person over. When I just broke up. this is so unfair." Lai cried from the sofa. The door was not that visible but he only saw a lowered head of a shorter person.

"Shut up or I will tear your lips off," Haolei led eric to his room.

"Is that you, eric? Are you crying for me too?" Lai sobbed, walking up to him.

Haolei pushed him away, hugging his brother safely. "don’t get your snot on him bastard."

Sobbing eric gazed up at him. "ah it’s that betrayer who complained against me. Why is he here? Chase him out. I’m already heartbroken......" he wailed loudly.

"I’m heartbroken too......" Lai also wailed.

Standing in between two sirens, Haolei got a sharp headache.

He made them both sit down on the sofa. he scooped a spoonful of ice cream and shoved it into Lai’s mouth unceremoniously.

Lai bit the spoon with a grimace. "Why are you being so rough, huh?"

"Just eat the darn ice cream and cry." He then gently fed eric. "is it too cold? do you want me to bring you some tea?"

Lai let out a loud hiccup. "Fuck, my best friend was stolen by this guy. I hate you,"

Whimpering, eric gazed at him too. "I hate you too."

Then weirdly Lai reached out and hugged him. "let’s hate each other later, I just want a shoulder to cry on,"

Eric softly hugged him back.

They both sat there hugging and crying while Haolei fed them ice cream.

After a tub was eaten clean both of them had no tears to shed. Both their faces were pink and their eyes were swollen shut.

Haolei sighed. "I’ll bring in a hot compress." He walked into the kitchen with a loud sigh.

Eric gazed at the annoying guy beside him. "Why were you crying?"

"My girlfriend got married to that guy...." He whimpered with tears in his eyes.

Seeing his pitiful crying face eric felt tears prickling in his eyes. "Mine went to America."

"so did mine."

"Wait," eric sat up straight. "Your girlfriend was Ruelle. And she was engaged to...."

The tears he had been holding back came pouring down like a fountain. "noooo, it can’t be. My bai Yuri won’t marry someone else..."

"That bastard bai married my Ruelle. They both settle in America!!!!" with a trembling hand Lai held out his hone.
