Eric was in a daze all throughout the car ride. ’He woke up.... He woke up. isn’t that a good thing? why do I feel so empty right now...’ he desperately wanted to kiss him awake but it looks like his plan went down the drain. ’is that why I feel disappointed?’

He patted his checks. ’Okay he is alive and well, that’s all that matters.’ He nodded to himself.

"I will check in with the Bai family. Don’t worry, he would probably be in rehab."

"Huh? Why?"

"Physical rehabilitation. He has been in a coma for a very long time. His body needs to be trained to work properly again. I will search for anything that is close by in the city. We will find him soon."

Eric’s frowning lips finally quirked up in a soft smile. "Thank you, so much, brother. For everything."

"You don’t have to thank me kid." Haolei reached out and gently pinched his chubby cheeks. "oh I’ve talked to one of my friends. He is friends with a school principal. He got you a place there. You will start classes next month. We have to buy a lot of things for you. Books, pens and shoes.... we need to buy a lot of things..."

Haolei glanced at him with a smile, "Shall we visit your school today?"

Eric blanky looked up at him. ’oh.....I’m fifteen years old.... school...’ his traumatic experience in the super academy came to his mind. ’it’s a normal school. It will be fine.’

"Jung, no Eric sorry. are you Tired? Shall we head home then?"

"no, it’s okay today. Let’s go check that school." Eric gave him a comforting smile.

The car drove for ten minutes or so and came to a stop in front of a huge grill gate.

Haolei instructed him to wait by the gate while he parked.

Eric leaned against the walls, still thinking of his Yuri.

The evening school bell rang. And the school gate suddenly opened. A few school students walked out in a hurry. Some were chatting with themselves.

Eric silently glanced at his phone, making himself as inconspicuous as possible.

But a few girls noticed him.

One girl who was drinking from a juice box froze gazed at him and paused. Her wide eyes blinked his way. "Oh my god... is he someone’s boyfriend?" She whispered, tugging at her friend’s hair.

Eric caught her conversation and glanced up.

The girl gasped dropping the juice box in her hand. "ommo ommo he is so handsome... look at his face his eyes... he looks better than your favorite idol," she squealed tugging at the other girl’s hair.

The grumpy girl pushed his grabby hands away and took a look at Eric’s way.

By then Eric looked down at his pheon in order not to attract any more attention to himself.

The young girl with messy brown hair straight up walked up to him. "How old are you?"

being suddenly interacted in a cold tone Eric froze. "f-fifteen." He mumbled looking at her weirdly.

The girl had a soft child-like face with slightly chubby cheeks. Her eyes were rounded and cute. But her messy hair gave him the illusion of a fluffy puppy.

The young girl looked at him with a small smile. "You fit the bill. So will you date me?"

Eric awkwardly rubbed his nose. "Umm.... Should you be asking a stranger that?"

"What is your name?"

Since he was going to the same school Eric tried to be as cordial as he could. "Eric," he whispered.

when Haolei was getting his id card he requested his name be changed to Eric. it was supposed to be a surprise for Bai Yuri, his thought was that maybe if his lover heard his real name Bai might remember his past life.

but that plan didn’t go through...

he did not meet his Bai yet....

his mood went down.

The young girl was looking up at him with a curious tilt of her head.

"Eric, now I know your name and age. Soo, shall we date?"

Eric was stumped at her bluntness.

The girlfriend ran up to her. "Yuna! Stop harassing him. God, look at his face how could he be single." she whispered tugging at her friend.

"He must be." she barely answered above a whisper. Boys like that don’t talk to girls so easily." The girl, Yuna looked at him excitedly. "so, tomorrow’s our date?

Eric shook his head. "I can’t.... I have someone I love."

"See, I told you." The other girl pouted and dragged her friend back.

Yuna relentlessly stood in that same spot. "Break up with her. I’ll be a good girlfriend, cuz I’m rich and beautiful."

Hearing this Eric frowned. "Why would you ask that? You’re jutting your nose into someone else’s relationship and at the same time putting yourself down in a low position by even asking that question. first, learn to value yourself. A guy who leaves his loved one for someone new will never be loyal. Dating a man like that is worse than having been bitten by a dog." he said and walked away.

Yuna grinned. "I like him. Hey wait," she ran up to him.

Eric did not even look at her.

"let’s forget what I just said. Can we be friends? Like real friends not like those who expect a relationship out of it," she looked up at him with a smile.

Eric did not want that this girl just wanted to break his relations with Yuri and it was uncomfortable. He simply pouted and walked away.

"Yuna you ass! Hy did you do that! He is pissed! You shouldn’t try to be a home wrecker girl."

"I wasn’t trying to be. I was testing him. That guy is not into girls. I just wanted to see how he would react when a cute girl talks to him. His expression was interesting. we can be his friend." she said with a confident smile.

Her friend, Dani, grimaced. "you..... I don’t think he wants to come even an inch within your side."

"Tsk I’m likable."

"Besides he does not even go to our school," Dani mumbled playing with the bag strap.

"Oh, he is going to. I heard talks about a new student who is joining our terms. He is most likely that student.’

Dani frowned. "How can you be so sure?"

"Intuition. Let’s go get a melon bun." Yuna dragged her friend away.
