Like a deflated balloon Eric slumped down on the soft bed. "Easy for you to say. He is in a very highly protected hospital with two bodyguards. Brother hao plans to take me there tomorrow. Maye we can use his police identity to sneak into his VIP ward,"

Previously he had questioned Lai about the hospital and how Bai Yuri was. Lai Tsu had not personally seen Bai Yuri so he did not have much to say. In the hall Haolei spotted that small light from under the door. "he is still not asleep."

"Yeah, if you notice I’m not asleep as well. Its cuz you keep tossing around." Lai mumbled from the floor.

Haolei tossed a pillow his way. "Why are you here? You should have gone home."

"I’m a heartbroken dude who doesn’t want to be alone. just let me stay here for a bit."

"Shut up." Lai kicked him hard. "Hao.. tell the truth. That kid remembers everything about what happened right? Why are you trying to hide it from me."

Haolei peered at him in the dark. "its not my story to tell... Jung Shi is... special. If he told his story no one would believe him. It’s better that he pretends not to remember anything that happened in that house."

Lia Tsu fully turned his way with his eyes narrowed. "You could lose your badge, do you wish to risk that all for a kid you just met three days ago?"

Silently Haolei peered at him. "thanks Lai.."
