Chapter 170: Chapter 170 - Final showdown

Zhu Kang watched in glee as Jake screamed in pain. The flames of a dragon is not that easy to quench. Even water can’t put it out, the flames will eventually burn out though.

he had also used his strong acid attack alongside his flames. It would definitely kill Jake in an instant.

He felt a sense of accomplishment,

’Finally, I have avenged Zhu Kang. the final boss is dead....’ He smiled as he saw Jake fall down unconscious to the ground.

he jumped down from the ceiling and walked over to him, making sure to avoid all the corpses littering the ground. "System, is the final task completed?"

A hand suddenly grabbed onto his shin and pulled him down. Jake slammed into him and suddenly stabbed in his face.

Kang instantly dodged it. The knife pierced through the tile, cracking it. Thankfully, it was lodged deep down that Jake was not able to retrieve it.

"It was you! it was you all along," Jake growled through his gritted teeth.

Zhu Kang glanced up. "How are you...."

Jake’s face was actually melting and his skin was hanging disgusting. But to his surprise behind, the melted skin there was another layer of intact skin. It looked tanned and rough with a beard.

"You think I would just die like that?" he punched his face hard.

For a second Kang was stunned. A sharp pain pierced through his brain, making him incapable of moving much.

"oh, I thought it was that bitch, Gwyn, but it was you all along, Kong. You were right beside me how did I even miss it?" he punched him again.

It felt like a hundred hammers were slammed into his face.

Kang could not even think coherently.

"You are such a weakling but you managed to fuck me up! How dare you!. I will fucking kill you bitch," he struggled to pull out the dagger.

Kang took this chance to kick his stomach and roll away out of his range. ’What the fuck... why are his punches so strong... gods...’ he was not able to see anything properly

He crawled into the small bar area and hid behind that space.

Jake jumped over it and grabbed him by his hair. "You think hiding is going to help, huh?" the dagger cut into his cheeks.

the pain woke Kang up from his delirious state. ’Focus... focus... I can’t be distracted.; he grabbed Jake’s neck and kicked his groin.

Jake grunted and fell to the ground.

Kang stood up unsteadily and threw another fireball at his face.

Jake’s melted face actually fell off to reveal a middle-aged man’s face.

For a second Kang was stunned by that guy. He felt a deep fear etched in his mind come alive. His whole body started to tremble violently.

’I have to stay strong... I can’t tremble.’ He pulled out his gun and shot at him,

Jake expertly dodged it. "Fucking hell! Do you know how much that face costs!!! You fucking ruined everything! Give me your face bitch!" he screeched and ran at him.

He pushed him onto the bar counter and stabbed at his neck.

Kang was able to dodge it only slightly. The knife went through his shoulder.

The pain left him almost blind.

"AHHHH!!!!"

"Scream! Scream louder!!!" he twisted the knife.

Kang spat on his face, and in that moment of distraction he pushed Jake off him. He picked up his bag he pulled out a grenade. He grinned at him manically. "You think I will let you live..."

He pulled off the safety with is eyes closed.

’Fire can’t hurt me... right? I hope so... or else Aaron so going to be hella pissed.’

The grenade went off blasting the whole bar. Everything went up in flames, including his clothes.

Kang stood there buck naked.

his body had completely transformed his body into his dragon form. But to his surprise, his scales were falling off. soft white scales underneath looked quite prominent.

’I guess dragons shed too?’

everything was up in flames.

’He should be dead, right? I hope so....’

Suddenly, a dangerous feeling came from his right.

He hurriedly dodged it. a bullet hit right on his wounded shoulder making his pain even more aggravating.

’he got a hold of my guns!’

He gritted his teeth loudly.

’How is he still alive! Darn it. that cockroach is not easy to kill! System, you come out and help me. how do you kill that man!’

The system did not give him any more replies.

Sighing, Kang ran to a nearby wall and hid behind it. his new scales were too delicate. if it was his normal state, he would have been bullet proof but now.... ’fate is against me...’

taking his gun from the ground, he started to shoot at random.

Jake was like a fucking rat. He would move from different spots and shoot at him.

In just five minutes, Kang was left with five bullet wounds all over his body.

only because of his superior strength was he able to stay awake and fight him.

’I can’t go on like this. I will die.... Fire can’t kill him.... what can then? Acid? I tried that. he had that weird mask? Wait, that mask is gone, though. Can I kill him now with my acid attack?’

As he thought about it the glass window next to him shattered. A whole hoard of humans jumped in and tried to strangle him.

Kang hurriedly flew up and clung to the ceiling. ’my gods these zombies are annoying. But I don’t want to kill them’

Amongst the hypnotized people he even saw a few kids. He did not have the heart to kill them.

"oh there are you monkey. Come down now~ come and accept your death. It’s all you can do. You have to pay for messing with me... hehe..." Jake shot at him openly.

Kang grimaced. "You look ugly,"

Jake’s smile went away. He glared at him with fury. "Fuck you!! I will kill you, bitch!" and started to shoot at him.

All of a sudden, a huge thunder fell in front of Jake pushing him back to the bar.

Kang glanced up in shock. Altren broke through the roof, followed by Aaron and Gwyn.

Aaron immediately hugged him and lifted him up in his arms like a baby. "you’ve been shot. Fuck. I’ll take you back to the doctor. You guys deal with this." he anxiously said to the others.

Gwyn hesitated on staying behind but since Altren would be alone he feared that guy would play weird tricks on his lover again.

Altren cracked his knuckled. "You, you’ve done a lot of bad things of late. You made me hurt my darling. You have to pay for that," he grinned villainously.

Jake bit his lips. he took out the last remaining stash of hypnotizing powder and spread it out.

"Not this time!" Gwyn instantly let out a huge ball of flame burning away the powdery particles in midair.

Jake stumbled back. He hurriedly picked up the guns and shot at them

Gwyn fortified his body into his dragon form and stood in front of Altren shielding him. none of the bullets went through.

"How...."

"Dragons have hard exteriors," he grinned evilly and rushed to him.

Jake dropped the gun and was ready to flee.

But Gwyn caught him by the back of his neck and lifted him up like a weasel.

Altren was not far behind. he came up to him with the gun Jake had dropped. "You hurt Kang with this right? Why don’t we try it out on you?" he shot at his thighs.

"AHHHHH!! PLEASE... PLEASE LET GO OF ME... IT HURTS... IT HURST TOO MUCH!!!!!"

Altren strangled his neck. "that’s how Zhuzhu felt." He then stabbed his whole hand through his stomach.

Jake’s mouth was agape looking at him on shock.

"That is how my lover felt when you made me hurt him!! feel that...."" he grabbed onto his heart. "Your heart is not meant to beat any longer in this world. just die,"

He gave it one firm squeeze, and the small delicate organ stopped

Jake’s eyes went dull.

Gwyn dropped him off and wiped at Altren’s hands. "Why did you get blood all over you? you could have done it cleaner," he wiped it with his t-shirt.

"don’t get that guy’s blood on you," Altren hurriedly stopped him.

Jake looked up at Altren, still stuck in shock. ’This was not meant to be... I was not supposed to die like this... I was supposed to make him love me... he was supposed to love me... why...’

Warm blood seeped out of his wound.

He watched as Gwyn and Altren be lovey dovy in front of him. which made him even a bit more bitter. He spat out blood.

Gwyn glanced at him. "He is still alive? You could not even kill him properly?" he accusingly glared at his lover.

"I must have been soft-hearted. Wait a bit,." He held up his hand.

Jake looked at him through his dull eyes. ’System initiate escape sequence... I want to leave...’
