The next morning the system dinged, alerting him that it was the last day to complete the final task.

Kang sat on the bed with a frown. by his right, Aaron was stirring a bowl of hot porridge. and to his left, his brother sat there with another bowl of the same porridge. They both were trying to feed him like a little baby.

He pushed both the spoons that were poking his lips with a glare. "I can eat on my own. Aaron, did you find anything about Jake?"

"We have tracked him to a local bar close by your old workplace but he keeps slipping away." Aaron held up the spoon full of porridge with a small pout. "Eat."

"Why are you even telling him that? you are stressing him," Gwyn glared at him.

"you’re right. Zhu don’t even think about that, guy. I assure you it’s all under control,"

Kang looked at his brother in shock. "But..."

"No buts!" Gwyn plopped a spoon full of porridge into his mouth. "Eat your breakfast. in the afternoon you won’t be allowed to eat anything,"

Sighing, Zhu Kang relented to their coddling.

The timer in the system notification was ticking.

’System can I kill Jake? Is that even allowed? Will that conclude my final task?’

Kang frowned, pulling the spoon out of his mouth. He gestured for his brother to stop feeding him. ’You didn’t allow me to kill him before?’

Kang rolled his eyes. another spoon gently poked at his lips. he looked at Aaron with a slight frown. "Give me that," he plucked the bowl and gulped the hot porridge down. "Here, I have finished my breakfast. Now can you both leave me alone for a second? I need to get my thought straight,"

Aaron and Gwyn cast a pitiful look at his face.

"Come on guys. I’m not sad or anything I just need a bit of time. please..."

Gwyn stood up, picking the full bowl of porridge in his hand. "take your time. Don’t be scared. Nothing will happen,"

"I’m not scared," Kang once again repeated.

Only after that did the two move out.

Kang instantly locked the door. "System, tell me right now. Will my character use also come to an end after this final task? Will I die?"

Kang slowly crept out into the hallway down to the basement. It was a place he had not ventured into but he had heard from Aaron that he had weapons in there.

The basement was well-lit with a huge vault at the end.

He passed by it.

Unlike the other gates, this one was older technology. It only needed a passcode to open it,

He easily typed out his birthday. The vault opened.

"This is too easy," he went in and picked out a few bombs and a few guns. The weapons were not Aaron’s originally. They were all appended from the villains. Some of the weapons looked super weird and bizarre that he feared even walking close to them.

He only took the ones he was familiar with.

After a bountiful hunt, he glanced at his heavy bag with a smirk. "With this, I don’t have to fear about going powerless like last time."

His powers had returned that night and he was fully capable of taking down Jake.

"That fucker is going to go down,"

Zhu Kang escaped through the windows.

Just outside he saw a few laser beams invisible to human eyes. if he touched it the alarm will go off and the weapons will be activated.

Kang wore the bag tightly on his back and peered at the laser beams. "Time to be agile as a cat...." He slowly crawled on the ground past one laser line.

With a few movements of jumping and crawling, he was able to pass the laser minefield.

It made him feel slightly like a freaking bond.

Giggling Zhu Kang rushed to the gates.

Just as he climbed and jumped off it, he came face to face with ten people who just got out of a van. Every one of them were foreigners. They all looked at him with a weird blank look on their faces.

This look Kang was very familiar with.

they were hypnotized people.

One of them dashed to him and tried to grab a hold of his arms.

Kang hurriedly kicked him on his stomach.

The man flew away and hit the gates with a loud bang.

He then continued to beat the shit out of these people.

To be honest it was easy as pie. They were all normal humans. So, he didn’t go overboard. He only made sure that he knocked them out unconscious.

After the last one was down, Kang took their van and drove away.

Just few turns away, he was once again attached by a crazy ass mob. They all jumped right in front of his car.

Kang slammed his brakes instantly making his tires scratch loudly. "What the fucking hell is this?? How many of those hypnotized people does he have?"

He got down and beat them up as well. he then kindly dragged them over to a corner and left them there.

He drove in the busy highway.

The sight in front of him shocked the hell out of him.

It was like a fucking apocalypse there. Every single one of them got out of their cars and were all dazedly glancing at him...

"Oh, hell no...." Kang banged his head on the steering wheel. "Jake, that fucker, I will kill you!"

He jumped out of the van and started to fly.

At first, he had decided against flying in case it might attract Aaron’s attention but he had no other way now. he had to do this.

He glanced down at the car that was being swarmed like a fucking bee hive and shivered subconsciously...

Even if he was able to fight them off one way or another, he might get hurt by one of the humans.

Zu Kang flew off to the familiar area. The bar he worked part-time was closed off due to the fire but the nearby bars were having good business.

The lights inside were flashing bright even through the blinded windows.

Kang walked in through the back door entrance that was exclusively for the employees. No one was manning this place the door wasn’t even locked.

He straight up walked into the bar and hid behind a wall.

The humans in there seemed to be in the same dazed state as the others.

’Crap... how will I find Jake in this mess.’ he searched through the crowd. Suddenly he spotted a single person dancing to the beat.

The others were not moving.

Only this person was dancing.

He narrowed his eyes and looked closely.

’Yeah, that’s him.’ Kang took out a gun and directly shoot at him without mercy.

Jake who was mid-dancing felt a dangerous feeling close to him. he hurriedly dodged.

A bullet hit the wall behind him.

Shocked, he looked around hurriedly.

Kang hid behind another wall again.

"Who the fuck was that, huh! Who dares to shoot at me! everyone. Find me that shooter. I want him dead!!!"

Kang gritted his teeth. At this point, he had moved far away from the door. Escape from here was not possible. instead, he simply flew up and stuck to the ceiling like a lizard.

The hypnotized humans ran around searching for him.

"None of you can find him! waste! Such a waste of my money! All if you just go and die!!!"

Instantly everyone strangled themselves and died on spot.

He watched jak walk around searching for him. "Whoever you are, I will fucking kill you. even your body will not be spared. I will tear you into pieces."

Jake walked right below him.

Green flames flashed out of them, hitting Jake’s head precisely.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!’ Jake ran around like a headless chicken trying to put off the flame.

Kang grinned. ’Is it that easy to put out my flames? Suffer dude...’

He watched Jake’s hair and skin melt off his face.

’Die... just die... I want this task to end.’
