Zhu knag clung to Aaron’s body nuzzling against his neck. "you’re so warm..." he mumbled softly in his ears.

Aaron trembled subtly. "Am I? do you like it?"

"I love it," Kang smirked widely.

Seeing this, Aaron could not hold back from kissing his pouty lips. "I like it too. Why are you so cute?"

On one hand, Aaron was aggrieved that his lover was sick and delirious and on the other hand he was slightly swayed by witnessing his cute antics. he simply wanted to hug and kiss his cute Zhu all he wanted.

But there was one person who hates this progression.

Gwyn walked beside him gritting his teeth. "you scum. How could you even touch a delirious person? It’s immoral!"

"I’m touching my lover. What is wrong with that?" he smiled, kissing Kang’s cheeks. "Will he usually get sick when he is in his rut?"

"Hmm.... It will pass." Gwyn grumbled, walking into Aaron’s house. He noticed that the house was empty. "Did you contact Altren?"

Aaron, who just then placed Zhu Kang on the sofa froze. "he is not here?"

"no he accompanied me to search for Zhuzhu. Did you message him?" he repeated again patiently.

Aaron’s casual expression went grave instantly. He hurriedly started to make calls. "Blue! I asked you to look after alt! where the heck is he?! I can’t get through his phone!"

Gwyn quickly realized that there was something wrong going on. He moved closer. "What is going on? Is that Blue guy the one in that blue super suit? Was in charge of protecting Altren? Yeah, I forgot to ask, why did you tie him up? did you know that guy had bruises all over his wrist? you really did a number on him, man. You are supposed to be his uncle. If I hadn’t broken that shackle, he would have been left with a broken wrist!"

Aaron peered up at him. "Did you release his binding?"

"Yeah. I thought he was being kidnapped,"

"shit," Aaron cussed out loud. He hurriedly called Haze and told him to watch out the surveillance close to the college and their home.

Gwyn started to feel a bit jittery. "what’s going on? Why are you so worried about Altren? He is a grown adult super hero he can take care of himself...." He felt his heart pound looking at Aaron’s worried gaze. "Is something wrong with him?"

"yes something is wrong with him. He is being controlled by someone," Aaron whispered, picking up Zhu Kang. right now, he did not feel like leaving his lover, but he felt the equal responsibility to protect his nephew.

He was conflicted.

he carried Zhu to his bed and placed him down gently. By then he had received news from Haze. His stupid nephew was spotted near the college with another student. They both disappeared after that.

"Good. Did you find out who that student is?" he whispered softly as he covered Zhu Kang with a thick blanket.

Gwyn hovered close to him, trying his best to listen in on the call.

Sighing, he put it in speaker mode. "It was someone called Jake. He is your dear lover’s roommate."

Gwyn plucked the phone from his hands immediately. "Is it that short guy with green eyes and brown hair?"

"Yeah, um who is that again? you are that guy who smashed into that classroom, right? I forgot to ask what is your super name. I have never seen you before,"

Gwyn cut the call. "I knew it! That bastard was up to something!"

Aaron peered at him with growing curiosity. "What do you know about him?"

"he is a sketchy person. Last week I did some research on him. It was weird. He only appeared three months ago. Before that he did not exist in records. His identity was nonexistent. He was practically a ghost. But weirdly so everyone in the college remembers him as their high school mate or as a friend. I feel like he is capable of altering people’s memories."

"He must be in the one pulling Altren’s stings." Aaron said and hesitantly looked at Zhu. "shit I don’t wish to leave him...."

Gwyn also was conflicted. After a moment of thinking, he decided to stay here with his brother. "Bring him back in one piece.... And take that bitch down. I hate it when people meddle with my person," he growled loudly.

Aaron for a second he paused. "Eh? Who is your person? Zhu? Or.... Altren?"

Only silence was his answer.

Aaron’s eyes went wide. A wide smirk suddenly spread across his face. "Oh ho, you have to call me uncle from now on. From seniority, I am not your senior. Hehe."

Gwyn glanced back with a deep glare. "You are already a senior, you old man. Get lost,"

"Shy guy, admit it to your uncle~ you like Altren. don’t worry considering you are my lover’s dear brother; I will help you in your conquests." Aaron smirked and swaggered out of the room, leaving behind a red-faced Gwyn.

Gwyn patted his cheeks. "Who is my uncle huh.... That ass...." He touched Zhu Kang’s hand. It was hot and cold to touch. "can’t believe we ended up taming an annoying pair of uncle and nephew. But That’s good too. We can stay in the same house. I will protect you from being bullied by that guy," he whispered gently caressing his brother’s head.

Zhu Kang cutely smiled. "I know brother..." his eyes started to droop again.

Gwyn placed a hand over his eyes. "Sleep. Brother is here with you." saying so, he started to hum softly.

Kang’s lips rose up in a small smile. "I won’t let you die... brother... I won’t let anyone die...."

Gwyn gently pinched his cheeks. "Who is dying? I’m too young to die, young fellow. I will stay with you for years and years. Soo better be prepared for my annoying nagging,"

Blue and Haze appeared in Aaron’s hallway hurriedly.

"we lifted the lockdown after you sent the message. That guy must have left along with alt at that moment. I checked the monitoring system from all three gates of the college but only one of the surveillance cameras malfunctioned at that moment. I bet they went out using gate three," Haze relayed the message as he continued typing rapidly.

Aaron pranced in front of him. "I believe that Jake guy has the powers to manipulate other’s thoughts,"

Haze glanced up in shock. "Are you being serious?"

Aaron grimly nodded. A power like that very very very dangerous. Especially in hands of an unstable individual. He did not know about Jake’s personality, but he was sure that he was not a good guy.

This whole Ruth mess seemed premeditated. It was like someone was using Kang to distract them. While they were not paying attention to Altren that guy snatched him up.

"Find out of there is any connection between Jake and Ruth."

Haze nodded and started to do a background search on them both. as the system was loading up, he glanced up at Aaron. "Who is that buff guy with you? he came with Altren."

Aaron refused to answer.

"He is not registered in the hero system." He said with conviction.

Aaron only peered his way. "Concentrate on things that are important.

"I need to know if that person can be trusted. I don’t wish to keep an unstable bomb close to me"

Just as he said this, Aaron pointedly glared at him. "He is my brother-in-law!"

Haze and Blue both froze. "he’s Kang’s brother?! They look nothing alike,"

"They are twins," Aaron added. "But they do have their similarities. They have similar eyes," he then proceeded to glare at them both, "don’t talk shit about my relatives, okay? Who he is and what he does is none of your business and about his hero registration," he gave Haze a deadly glare. "don’t you dare tell anyone."

Haze pretended to zip up his mouth and tossed it in the air. In his heart was he still very much surprised. He knew that Zhu Kang was found in the later stage of his life but he didn’t realize he even had a brother who was a super. They both hid very well. " Did they approach Aaron and Altren for a reason? Or was it just a great coincidence? Hmm, I have to put my research on it,’

His computer dinged, showing that his search had come to fruition. Reading through it, his eyes went so wide as a huge saucer. He shot up, pushing the laptop down. "fuck!!"

"What?" Aaron picked up the laptop. The screen was completely broken and was not displaying anything. "Shit, Haze you broke it!"

"I don’t care about that! Aaron, do you know who that guy Jake is?! He is the snakehead gang’s leader!! He is the one we have been searching for so many years!!!"

The three super hero’s expressions went grave releasing the situation they were in.

Snakehead gang’s leader somehow managed to brainwash Altren. He is just a puppet in his hands. He could easily manipulate him to do any bad deed with him.

And all the blame will fall on heroes.

The government was already very annoyed that they separated from their control.

If a respected hero suddenly attacks the city and hurts thousands, it will cause widespread panic. The government will take this chance to suppress supers even more.

This could very easily lead to a widespread witch hunt for super heroes.
