Chapter 334: Chapter 314 Shattered Thunder Divine Court_1
The Observer’s voice rose.
Wandering in the world below, many Alien Gods with puppet avatars attached to them all looked up at the sky.
A myriad of sinister, icy, and darkly odd gazes instantly converged on Pang Jian, giving him the peculiar feeling of having become the common enemy of all gods.
Without time to think further, Pang Jian hurriedly flew upwards again.
"Swoosh!"
The "Purgatory Gate" showed no signs of disturbance, and he smoothly passed through the layer of thunder and lightning, reappearing in the outer sky.
Pang Jian quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
Since the "Purgatory Gate" made no move, it meant that the thunderous Fragment Land below, unlike The Frozen Land’s horrific Heaven Forbidden, was a place where he could achieve instantaneous movement.
As long as he could move instantaneously, there was a huge assurance for safety.
"They are all tempting food, but the omnipresent thunder and lightning are troublesome. Master, those puppets below, though they possess the Divine Consciousness of Alien Gods, I feel none are particularly strong. If they attempt to infiltrate your Sea of Consciousness, I should have the power to resolve it."
"However, those little ones I am nurturing may be attacked by thunder and lightning when they fly through this world."
"Their bodies cannot withstand the bombardment of thunderbolt, and a single touch of lightning would annihilate them."
Having left the fiercely thunderous land below, the Bee King took the initiative to communicate, saying, "Moreover, there is no Heaven Forbidden that severs connection with the outside world below, so master can perform instantaneous movement through the outer Bee Insects."
Pang Jian said, "I felt it."
"Zzt!"
Suddenly, a streak of silver lightning shot forth and stopped next to Pang Jian, revealing an elegant White Crane.
"Luo Yuan, the Forbidden Land of Thunder God below is not for you to enter!"
With an air of arrogance, the White Crane, whose wings streaked with lightning, called out, "You should be in the Absolute Sky Forbidden Land, staying together with those from Purgatory. The Thunder Clan guards that shattered Thunder Divine Court, with so many Alien Tribes coveting its thunder and lightning, and you are so weak."
"Tsk tsk."
With a disdainful look in its eye, the White Crane said, "Luo Yuan, have you still not advanced to the Spirit Condensation Realm of the Human Race? How slow, I was at level six from the start!"
"If I could stay a little longer in that ghastly place below and obtain the marks that contain the mysteries of thunder and lightning, I, Lord Crane, could break through to level seven bloodline!"
"Reaching level eight is not impossible either!"
"The Thunder Divine Court was once a wondrous treasure used by the first Thunder God to command the heavens."
The White Crane screeched excitedly.
"Thunder Clan? Thunder Divine Court?" Pang Jian spoke in a deep voice, "What are you talking about?"
After its screech, seeing Pang Jian utterly confused, the White Crane said, "Luo Yuan, do you remember the golden lightning I collected in the Thunder Punishment Land?"
"I remember."
"Those golden lightnings contain Divine Power and come from a level ten ancient being. My master, upon contemplating the Great Tao Truth within them, uncovered a secret."
Flapping its wings, the White Crane danced around Pang Jian, continuing, "His ancestors, along with six others who perceived the Thunder Tao and ascended to be God Spirits, entered Thunder Prison from different worlds to partake in the campaign against the Thunder God of Thunder Prison."
"The Thunder God was the first Thunderbolt deity born among many worlds, and at one time, the strongest among Thunder Gods."
"He forged the Thunder Divine Court in Thunder Prison to command all worlds of those who perceived the mysteries of thunderbolt."
"Seven Thunder Gods from different worlds banded together in Thunder Prison to besiege the Thunder God, shattering the Thunder Divine Court and finally ending his enslavement of all realms’ beings who contemplated the Thunder Tao."
"Before his fall, the Thunder God used his Divine Skills to sever the land where the Thunder Divine Court stood from a continent and pushed it into the Mysterious Fog."
"This place has hence been known as the Forbidden Land of Thunder God, hidden within the Mysterious Fog for a very long time, only resurfacing recently."
The White Crane suddenly stopped.
Its eyes shone as it gazed at the fragment of land interwoven with lightning below, undisguised greed in its look.
"Luo Yuan, before the Thunder Divine Court shattered, all worlds’ beings who ascended to God Spirits through the Thunder Tao could be sensed by the Thunder God with the Divine Court, and he demanded that they imprint their understanding of Thunder Truth onto the Divine Court."
"With this, he bound all the worlds’ cultivators of the Thunder Principal."
"Although the Divine Court is now broken, the laws and profound meanings imprinted by those Thunder Gods still exist in forms of lightning of various colors, lingering in the shattered court."
"Since this place has emerged, many covet the fragmented and incomplete marks of the Thunder Tao within the shattered Thunder Divine Court."
"And I am one of them."
After a detailed explanation, the White Crane proudly stated, "I am the strongest prodigy of the Thunder Crane Clan from the Saint Spirit Continent, capable of perceiving and collecting the marks of the shattered Divine Court."
"Luo Yuan, you are not qualified, so don’t go down there seeking your death."
With that, it shot straight back down.
Pang Jian was also left in shock after the White Crane disappeared.
The information it revealed was too astounding, making Pang Jian realize that in different worlds, it seemed possible to aspire to the so-called title of Thunder God.
And the first Thunder God was the Thunder God of Thunder Prison, who foolishly sought to dominate all beings who contemplated the Thunder Principal with the Thunder Divine Court he had created.
It seemed, he had successfully done so for many years.
"Thunder Prison, the first Thunder God named Thunder God, the shattered Thunder Divine Court..."
The Bee King, with a human-face bee insect body, muttered softly above the Beehive: "Master, I have related memories, but they are not very clear."
It covered its forehead with transparent wings, as if striving to integrate memories.
Tiny gold sparkles flowed in its compound eyes, like rivers of memory.
But the golden river of light was not coherent; the sparkles were intermittently retreating and chaotically splashing outwards, causing it to emit agonized screeches.
The screeches sent shivers down Pang Jian’s spine, allowing him to empathize with its pain.
"Enough, stop thinking about it!"
Pang Jian said sternly to stop it.
The Bee King screeched to a stop above the hive, appearing somewhat listless and dejectedly said, "I can’t remember."
"We’ll think about it later."
Pang Jian kept a straight face, still mulling over the Thunder Prison, the Thunder God, and the notion of the first Thunder Deity.
Was the Thunder God none other than those of the Thunder Clan with silver wings on their backs within the Thunder Prison?
The Thunder Prison, Netherworld Prison, Purgatory—why are some external worlds called "realms," while others are called "prisons"?
"Realms lie beyond the Mysterious Fog, prisons, on the other hand, are within the Mysterious Fog."
The Bee King provided an answer, "My memory holds knowledge in this regard; realms are eternally open and continuously connected with other worlds."
"Worlds prefixed with ’prison’ are mostly sealed off, like cages or jails, situated deep within the endless Mysterious Fog."
"As for why this is, I’m not entirely sure."
The Bee King, in his youth-like form, only wallowed momentarily, then eagerly suggested, "The Frozen Land, the Forbidden Land of Thunder God, both have Divine Consciousness we can accumulate. Master, let’s pick one to enter and try to collect those Divine Consciousnesses, shall we?"
"Let me think about which world we should go to."
Pang Jian hesitated, then turned his gaze to the last world engulfed in blazing flames.
"Does the master want to take a look at each of them before deciding?"
The Bee King tentatively asked.
"Hmm."
"That’s fine then."
A Golden Bee Insect hidden within the Mysterious Fog shot straight toward the Fragment Land with erupting volcanoes, and the Bee King said, "Master, you can stay here for now; once that little guy reaches there, we can teleport directly over."
"Huff! Huff huff! Huff huff huff!"
Another new Bee Insect separated from Pang Jian’s chest through the "Purgatory Gate," heading for all corners of this world.
"The other little guys also want to take a look at the outside world."
The Bee King explained.
"This copper medal, the Mysterious Fog inside it, how much do you know? Also, do you have any recollection of my father?" Pang Jian asked softly.
"I know nothing."
The Bee King shook its head.
It gazed around from atop the hive, hesitated for a moment, then said, "I’ve driven the little ones to explore inside as well, but we’ve not found an end."
"What I can now see is a door that I can open, outside of which is your chest, my master."
"And this door is where all my hopes lie."
The Bee King’s eyes showed a hint of sorrow, "Perhaps, if one day I can enter the Netherworld Prison and speak to the leader of the Netherworld Alien Gods that person mentioned, I may learn of my origins."
This seemed to be a goal it had set for itself as well.
Hearing this, Pang Jian grew wary, wondering if the day it grew strong enough to enter the Netherworld Prison, would it be tamed by the leader of the Alien Gods there?
At that time, would it then have nothing to do with him anymore?
"Huff!"
At that moment, the dark yellow banner suddenly left the Forbidden Land of Thunder God, drifting through the empty void.
Pang Jian shook his Astonishing Spear, a fierce lightning "sizzling" in the background, secretly on guard while also connecting with the Bee Insect approaching the Flame Fragment Land.
This was not the Panshi Fragment Land; he didn’t have the unique advantage here and wasn’t completely confident of overcoming The Observer attached to the banner.
If he couldn’t win the fight, he planned to teleport away instantly.
"He is stronger than the other Alien God puppets, you either invade his mind or let his Divine Consciousness contaminate you..."
The Bee King put forth a suggestion.
"Hmm."
Pang Jian was ready for combat.
The Observer spoke, "Was it the Ming Prison Soul Bee that showed you the way out?"
With His true body’s location unknown, He watched Pang Jian with countless eyes, seemingly trying to peer into Pang Jian’s very soul, "Logically, you should have continued to be lost, unable to find the path here."
"Did you mess with it?" Pang Jian snorted coldly.
"I’m merely an enabler."
The Observer neither admitted nor entirely confirmed it, and curiously inquired, "You are from the Purgatory World; how could you nurture a Ming Prison Soul Bee? Where did you get your first Bee Insect?"
Pang Jian replied coldly, "I have nothing to tell you."
The Observer fell silent for a moment, then abruptly changed the subject, "Are you interested in forming an alliance?"
Pang Jian asked, "An alliance? To do what with you?"
"I know about the traits of the Ming Prison Soul Bee, I know they can devour Divine Consciousness attached to objects by Alien Gods below in the Fragment Land. Of course, that includes the Divine Consciousness I’ve attached to this banner."
"As long as the Ming Prison Soul Bee can come in, in the situation where my true body cannot reach, my Divine Consciousness will also be devoured by it."
"Moreover, I have already suffered losses before."
After a pause, observing Pang Jian’s facial changes and seeing doubt emerge in his eyes, He said, "I can help you to have those Ming Prison Soul Bees you are breeding to hunt down the puppet bodies possessed by Alien Gods below."
"And I, need to collect the shattered Thunder Divine Court, I want to take it out of the Forbidden Land of Thunder God."
