The Purgatory Calamity
Chapter 335 - 315 Fallen God Spirit_1

Chapter 335: Chapter 315 Fallen God Spirit_1

"Not interested."

As soon as his voice faded, Pang Jian disappeared into thin air.

The banner that bore the consciousness of The Observer watched silently with countless eyes—some hollow, others deep and mysterious—as they observed the very spot where Pang Jian vanished, using Divine Power to sense him.

But they found nothing.

"He can teleport instantaneously..."

The Observer muttered, as the many divergent selves within began to quietly converse.

"The one who guided us in the Land of Prayer Spirit had prepared in advance a vessel that could manifest some of his powers. He seemed to know well in advance that the Purgatory World was about to open, and that the once-in-a-hundred-thousand-year transformation of heaven and earth was coming."

"He must be in the land where the Fire God fell."

"The Ming Prison Soul Bee is in the Forbidden Land of Thunder God. Releasing the Bee Soul there makes it highly vulnerable to destruction by thunder and lightning, yet this youngster didn’t fall for it."

"Without exterminating the Ming Prison Soul Bee, my True Body cannot arrive, and the transmission of Divine Power is also heavily restricted, making it easy for us, the Alien God Spirits from the Outer Realm, to become food for the Ming Prison Soul Bee."

"Truly troublesome."

Disordered and seemingly unrelated words spilled from the different consciousnesses within The Observer.

It was as if multiple ’Hes’ were each expressing their own thoughts, not caring whether the other consciousnesses were listening or not.

...

"Swoosh!"

Utilizing another Bee Insect, Pang Jian emerged in the skies above a land awash with sweeping flames. Looking down, all he saw were volcanoes erupting with molten lava and fierce flames.

The earth was a vibrant red, crossed by winding gorges filled with flowing rivers of fire.

An odd sensation of twisted and manipulated laws of nature and chaos in time and space welled up in Pang Jian’s mind.

"What I see is not the reality."

Having experienced The Frozen Land and the Forbidden Land of Thunder God, he concentrated golden Divine Sense in his eyes, attempting to peer through the deceptive haze with his mystical sight and discern the truth of the land below.

He saw clusters of flames floating in the crimson dome of the sky, obscuring his golden gaze.

A vast and surging faint Divine Aura, carrying the terrifying essence of annihilating all things, emanated from those clusters of flames, causing pain in his eyes after a long stare.

His golden Divine Sense was actually being drained!

"Better to go in and have a look."

Dismissing the gold in his eyes and summoning the Alien Power of Earth Fire from within the Flame Pool, he surrounded himself with a crimson Firm Cover and plunged downward, gripping the Astonishing Spear fiercely.

In an instant, he materialized in another foreign world.

He barely took a glance without discerning the details before he promptly initiated a teleport.

"Swoosh!"

He smoothly returned from that fiery red land to the realm where the external Bee Insect was located.

Seeing that he wasn’t restricted by Heaven Forbidden, Pang Jian finally relaxed and once again ventured forth.

This time, he didn’t teleport away immediately but finally dared to carefully observe the sky above the Fragment Land.

The sky was like a deep red curtain set ablaze, draped with clusters of glaring flame clouds.

On the vibrant red earth, there were volcanoes erupting with flames and sinuous rivers exuding fiery fluids.

The scorching, parched Fragment Land was void of nature’s spiritual energy and lacked any of the various alien powers Pang Jian was familiar with.

——There was only a concentrated and pure power of flames!

This place was the complete opposite of The Frozen Land, with sweltering heat and skies filled with flames, difficult for ordinary people to withstand.

"Whoosh!"

Streams of molten fire from erupting volcanoes transformed into barrages of Flaming Meteors that fell from high above after reaching the apex of their ascent.

The entire world, with molten lava and fiery water pouring from the heavens, seemed to be caught in an unending downpour of a fiery rainstorm.

"Kill!"

"Slay the Flame Clan, gather the Divine Objects born from the fallen body of the Fire God!"

From the eastern part of the land, there came a sudden uproar of boiling roars.

The fierce struggle and battles that had previously subsided for a moment now erupted anew.

Pang Jian turned to look, first seeing a huge dark-red body fallen to the ground, bathed in the juices of the flames.

It was ten thousand zhang long, eyes closed, facing the sky, with a body covered in dark red scale armor.

Its limbs and trunk smashed the ground into deep pits, which were in turn filled by the magma and fluids spraying from the volcanoes.

It fell like a Divine Mountain, and its presence emitted a terrifying aura that incinerated everything, twisting the entire Fragment Land and forcibly altering the existing laws of heaven and earth into a dominion of flame.

Near its forehead, around the fallen godly body, grew various exotic trees.

Their trunks were like golden iron God Stones, and they bore red berries that seemed to contain the flame Divine Power originating from it.

"Huff!"

Bits of crystal clear, small crystals appeared intermittently in the magma fluid near the godly body, as if they were the diluted and solidified Divine Blood of it.

Warriors of the Flame Clan, with red hair and skin, fought desperately with their tools against invaders.

Pang Jian had witnessed the Ghost Clan aboard dark ships, taken by the Back Armored Tribe, Scorpion Clan, and Wood Tribe members, along with many more alien tribes he had not yet encountered, all converging upon the Red-skinned Flame Clan, fighting for the red berries imbued with Divine Power and scooping the red crystals that occasionally appeared in the molten fluid.

"A fallen God Spirit, with a soul extinguished, but body yet undead."

The Bee King murmured quietly.

"God Spirit!"

Pang Jian suddenly trembled, summoning all his focus to observe the fallen deity closely.

In the Purgatory World, in this space that housed four Fragment Lands, all the God Spirits he had come across were merely puppets crafted in their image by the Alien Tribes who worshipped them.

They weren’t even avatars.

Because these puppet bodies could only be imbued with a very small fragment of Divine Consciousness, Pang Jian was able to contend with them through the wonders of the Bee Insects.

But he was keenly aware that these so-called puppet bodies didn’t possess even one ten-thousandth of a true God Spirit’s power.

"Flame Clan? There are members of the Flame Clan on the fifth level of Purgatory as well."

He noted that the Flame Clan, like the Ice Tribe, possessed human limbs and features, except their entire bodies were flushed red, and their blood ran as hot as magma.

Sometimes, wounded Flame Clan warriors, severely injured by the invading Alien Clan, would simply consume the red berries from the trees or enter the magma where the deity resided.

They would quickly heal from their injuries, energetically bouncing back and continuing their battle against the Alien Tribes.

This was remarkably similar to how the Ice Tribe replenished their strength through the "Heart of Winter."

"He... is also here..."

The Bee King spoke again.

Pang Jian, whose attention was on the God Spirit’s remains in the east, followed the direction given by the Bee King and gazed upon a familiar puppet of the Alien God.

The spider-faced deity, now fashioned from some sort of skeletal remains into an idol, was floating above a burning lake of fire.

Its enchanting human face still appeared as flawless as a sculpture.

Under the crimson glow of the Flame Fragment Land, its beautiful visage took on an added shade of blood and a peculiar vitality.

Floating midair, it directed some of the Alien Tribes who worshipped it, also engaging in attacks on the Flame Clan warriors.

From time to time, it gracefully and leisurely adjusted a stray lock of hair with its sharp, bone-spear-like spider legs.

It hadn’t noticed Pang Jian, who had descended from above, until Pang Jian’s gaze suddenly fixed upon it. It instantly sensed his presence and turned to look in his direction.

With just one glance, the coldness in its eyes intensified tenfold, gesturing towards Pang Jian with a spider leg from afar.

A silver-white battleship hovering high in the sky received its command and headed straight for Pang Jian, while numerous Alien Tribe warriors who worshipped it immediately regarded Pang Jian as a mortal enemy.

"It still remembers!"

Pang Jian’s expression darkened slightly.

In the Panshi Fragment Land, he had slain a stone statue of the spider-faced Alien God, built of gray-white stones, with the help of the Mysterious Turtle’s power and his own connection to the Fragment Land.

The Mysterious Turtle had devoured its Divine Power, while the Bee Insects had consumed its Divine Consciousness.

Because of this, Pang Jian had also acquired some golden Divine Sense.

He hadn’t expected that, before dying in the Panshi Fragment Land, it still had a connection with its True Body, clearly aware of what had transpired.

Meeting one’s enemy truly added fuel to the fire.

This time, not only was it stronger, but it could also control many of the Alien Tribes loyal to it.

Pang Jian quickly assessed the situation and, realizing it was difficult to accomplish anything further upon being targeted by the Alien God, he hurriedly made his escape.

No sooner had he left the Flame Fragment Land than he instantly transported to the Bee Insects nearby The Frozen Land.

Before long, the Alien Tribes who regarded the spider-faced deity as a God Spirit emerged from the burning lake aboard the silver-white battleship.

After looking around and failing to find any sign of Pang Jian, they reluctantly returned to report back.

Within the Inner Realm.

The shadowy projection of the Alien God worshipped by the Ghost Clan, a hunched figure cloaked in a pitch-black cape, miniaturized itself by hundreds of times and gently descended to the location of the spider-faced Alien God.

"Yang Luo, do you recognize that Purgatory Human Race individual?"

The Alien God’s projection inquired.

"One of my shattered puppet bodies was killed by him in a Fragment Land." The spider-faced Alien God named Yang Luo responded coldly to the uninvited visitor, curious, "Youkui, are you interested in him?"

"Kaz of the Wood Tribe was killed by him in the Absolute Sky Forbidden Land woods."

The Alien God, who had previously fought a fierce battle with the Ancient God Dharma of Fu Wangchen, wrapped in its cape and concealing its face, said, "I just find it strange. The Purgatory Human Tribe has no faith, and there should be no God Spirit descending upon him. With his power, how could he have killed Kaz in the woods and even erased the projection in Kaz’s Sea of Consciousness?"

"How did he manage to slay one of your puppet bodies in Purgatory?"

The Youkui of the Ghost Clan persisted in asking.

Yang Luo, whose human face was flawless, glanced at the sky and coldly replied, "When you come into contact with him, you will know."

"Yang Luo, with your power, you could have invaded his Sea of Consciousness with Divine Consciousness, and he should have died instantaneously." Youkui expressed greater surprise, "Why didn’t you do it?"

Yang Luo’s eyes showed pain.

It recalled the horror in the Panshi Fragment Land when its Divine Consciousness had penetrated Pang Jian’s Sea of Consciousness, only to be gnawed by the golden Bee Insects.

As an Alien God from the Outer Realm, the Divine Power and Divine Consciousness it could infuse in a puppet body were but mere fragments. Eradicating living beings with Divine Consciousness was its usual method, and while previously unbeaten, it had suffered a significant setback with Pang Jian, causing its True Body to feel the agony of its Divine Consciousness being devoured by the Ming Prison Soul Bees.

"When you make your move against him, you will naturally understand," said Yang Luo,

Yang Luo coolly shook its head, not divulging the truth and not mentioning that Pang Jian had cultivated Soul Bees from the Netherworld Prison, and added, "The hidden great person, who changed their mind because of him—"

"Otherwise, we might have already occupied the Land of Prayer Spirit in Purgatory and perhaps even had the chance to refine some of the beings of the Xuan You Continent."

Even though Luo Hongyan had changed her mind, Yang Luo still did not dare to be disrespectful, continuing to address her as "the great person."
