The guard snickered hearing that Yang Chen was still going on about being an alchemist. Did he think that the third elder who was also known for being the most strict and fierce elder in their clan, would fall for such a scam?

’What a fool’ The guard believed that the other party had dug his own grave and looked at him with pity, only to blink his eyes in surprise the next second when he saw the third elder nod their head at the reply.

Counting the third elder who was beside him, there were six people on the level of a Battle Master and numerous members at around Seven to Nine star battle apprentice.

No wonder the Zhang clan was able to become the tyrant of the cloud city, this line up was something that even Yang Chen couldn’t overlook.

If he wanted to destroy this clan in the future, he needed more information. Especially on that strong presence at the deepest parts of the main hall.

"We have arrived. This... how should I address this young friend?" The third elder who led him towards the main hall, stated before turning around and asking for his name.

"Yang Yan" Yang Chen simply spat two words. He had given him the same name he had given to Lin Mang.

"So this young friend is named Yang Yan. Very well, please follow me in" The third elder nodded his head and started walking up the stairs leading to the main hall.

From there, he pushed open the door with his battle energy before trotting in. Yang Chen who silently followed behind, looked at the main hall which he was seeing for the first time.

The previous owner of this body was just a lowly servant, he did not have the authority to come anywhere near the inner courtyard. Hence this was his first time entering the main hall.

The main hall was quite big and stately. Numerous people who were talking and chatting with their fellow members suddenly stopped their hubbub when they saw the third elder walk in.

As the position of an elder lorded over all the ranks, they hurriedly stood up and cupped their hands in greeting before shifting their eyes towards the one following behind him in curiosity.

The third elder nodded his head in acknowledgement and led Yang Chen further inside the hall. After the two of them disappeared inside, the hall started buzzing once again.
