Chapter 632: 9.17.5 He is weak.

Who knows how many fools have fallen into this broken realm?

How many of them were mortals? How many accidentally fell into this place after going to their mining jobs?

To him and others, the whole experience might have been easier due to his strength, but the same can’t be said for the majority who had fallen into this place.

"Those passages from before, are there any new ones here?" Currently, the Cat was out of Farhad’s chest and looking around, still reeling in from the shock that the ticket had lost its value and might be stuck here for longer.

But it didn’t mean that this might be the end of it all. Looking at the bodies that Rosso just found, the cat clawed at it for a bit, before turning to look at Farhad who suddenly asked such a question. "No... this is the end." It took a while for the cat to word these out with its paws, but Farhad got the gist of it.

"It would mean you are as helpless as I am>" Farhad spoke, looking to the library and then the surroundings, before asking. "At least tell me, what is this place? What are these scenarios? Anything will do."

What the world knows of this place and its reality might be far different. And who knows, if Farhad understands this place a bit better, he might just get some clues to exit this place. Of course, it didn’t mean that Farhad was sure about this, there seemed to be some time before something happened. As for what it is? Only Malidi might know, so wasting some time won’t be bad.

And the Cat, after a bit of contemplation, just spoke two words. "The realm of the Affable Seeker, a Fallen god." The names or the domains were not mentioned, but Farhad understood that this place was far different than he had anticipated.

Because this title alone caused some damage to his mind, but not too much.

’Affable seeker?’ The name was completely alien to him, but obviously, such an existence once lived in this world, otherwise, there wouldn’t have been such an impact on his psyche.

"What do you mean by a fallen god?" Even if he had never seen them before, Farhad was not one of those fools who didn’t believe in gods when such oddities existed in this world. And through his childhood, including the memories of Jester, he understood one thing clearly, Prime Daemons as well as Gods, both are eternal. Their death is not possible no matter what happens.

So how can they fall?

Rosso on the other hand had a different glimmer when he heard the term of a Fallen god, Farhad might not know of this, but Rosso had been aware that Jester, his creator also had traces of such existence in his hand. Specifically in his mortal body of Crow, the dwarf.

Which is why he didn’t react much to this information that might just be new to Farhad.

Of course, the cat was in no mood to go into details considering how hard it was for it to communicate to begin with, not to mention, that behind every fallen god, there had been the shadow of Red Sun, the supreme one.

And if too much was spoken about such fallen beings, the cat might attract its wrath, which is why it shut off.

"Can’t tell more?" It wasn’t very pleasant, to say the least, but Farhad did get some information out of it.

Each being’s title generally defines their nature. The name the Affable Seeker sounds so simple and kind. So for a being like this to create this space didn’t seem right in Farhad’s eyes, unless the issue was the lack of owner mixed with the instability caused by damages. That might make sense.

’Seeker of what?’ Then he turned to the flowers, where parts of the history were recorded and played for all to see. ’Seeker of history?’ Farhad wondered before shaking his head. ’Seeker of a concept, someone that would love to spread his knowledge.’ He spoke, before looking toward the cat and asking. Before shaking his head.

From the fact that the little cat refused to speak more about it, it can be seen that there were some dangers. So Farhad shut his mouth before, looking around on his own. ’The library being here will make sense.’

The Affable Seeker seemed to be someone who sought knowledge in the world, with these flower pots being nothing but records of the past for his own knowledge directory.

As for what can be learned from all of these? How did this space function? And why such specific times, Farhad didn’t know.

But then comes to ticket. From the words of the First Knight he heard before, and how the little idols that were stuck in their throat were meant to be tickets to this place, it would mean these worlds once used to be open to others and they obviously had an exit as well. But once the god fell, this place, this domain kept drifting and connecting to different caves, dragging unsuspecting people into it.

Well, that’s the gist of it, or so he thinks.

’Affable, that is the key.’ The affable aspect is what interests Farhad at this point, for it means this god was one of the kinder ones, and for such a god who was meant to be a seeker of knowledge, wouldn’t it be funny for him to never even consider a way out of this place for those stuck?

’Dig?’ Digging might be an answer, not too far away, he had seen a similar and far deeper hole before. Which meant that to a limit, the underground was not too dangerous.

’Then let’s start digging.’

"Digging, it’s warned to never mess with a forbidden place."

"This is the realm of an affable seeker, he shouldn’t be so cruel." Was Farhad’s reasoning, but his true reasonings behind this conclusion were far different.

’This place is breaking, weakened... if there is no path, I can dig one out.’ It’s impossible for there to be no end. This is why after warning the Cat to not follow him, Farhad mutated into his monstrous form again, using his new arms to start digging into the ground, hoping that his reasoning is sound and he succeeds.

This did make Malidi smile who should generally not be able to witness Farhad’s actions, but he did, along with speaking a few words that only the rat can hear. ’Impatient and violent... the tales you spoke off were true.’

To which, I replied. "I trained him as such... so thanks for the compliments." The words the rat spoke through telepathy were far clearer than before, which might shock Rosso if he were to ever hear it, but what can I say? This was not the time to let this boy meet me.

Oh, you might be wondering just what happened. How is it that my speech is so clear all of a sudden? And why do I contain memory so clearly?

Well for that to happen, we will have to go back to the past.

*Boom

But such stories need to be kept on hold for the moment.

Turning my little whiskers, I saw a figure burning with pure blaze drop down from a space and then turned to look at Rosso. "A corrupted." Spoke to the man, who instantly appeared in front of Rosso and attempted to grab him.

But he was a bit slow as Rosso entered the state of Isolation.

"You think that stops me?" The hand never stopped and it didn’t take long before the neck of Rosso was squeezed tightly as the curse that covered Rosso’s body burned like a cloth in the wind. "I have heard of you... the Blood Flower Fiend." And before long, the flames started to cover Rosso’s body.

Making it clear what this man’s intentions were.

"Master, wait for a bit, Remira she is here." At the mention of Remria, Alabasta stopped his flames and then looked to the side where Remira was gently placed.

Moving so fast as if he was teleporting, Vance appeared next to her body and then checked her state. "She is alive but unconscious." Vance sighed with relief, before looking at Rosso again. "What did you do to her?"

Rosso wanted to answer at this point, his desire to kill her was strong, but he really never got the chance to touch her due to that old man Malidi. And then Farhad followed him.

Of course, he couldn’t speak before Alabasta wouldn’t let him speak. He had dealt with Curse Master’s a lot, and understood that even words of theirs can cause some harm, more so for a Curse Master of Rosso’s level.

"He is not someone that can suppress her to that state without harming her body. It’s someone else." Currently, Alabasta’s Domain is restricted, barely exceeding a five meter radius. Which made his domain far smaller than expected, while affecting his perception of the area.

Making it harder for him to know who else was here.

But what he can tell?

It was that this Curse Master was not on the level of Remira. That he was sure of.
