Chapter 630: 9.17.3 Ticket has expired.

He appeared like a phantom, his arms readying themselves to pierce Remira’s head. This was an opportunity that only a fool would forego.

Remira Wyrmwood was a nuisance to his creator for a long while, but Rosso rarely held any hatred for her due to the memories he held. To him, she was nothing more than a fool that is prone to making mistakes.

Someone born with a silver spoon that only survived due to his Creator’s kindness. But that all changed in Rudrain, the fight he had there made him aware of certain things. ’Don’t look down on them.’ Even if she is a fool, she is still stronger than him and holds the intent to suppress or end him.

Making her a dangerous enemy and considering there was nothing about not killing this fool of a woman, why should Rosso hold himself back?

"No..." And even Farhad, without his mutations at the moment couldn’t keep up with Rosso, who had long covered himself in the curse of Isolation. By the time he noticed it, everything was already too late.

But before Rosso’s arm could pierce Remira’s skull, a hand gently grabbed Rosso’s arm, completely ignoring the Curse of Isolation, as well as the strength of a Grandmaster ranked Knight. "Don’t be like that." Much to Rosso’s surprise he backed off finding that his hand didn’t come with him.

"Why did you do that? Young man, clean your blood." Malidi spoke, throwing Rosso’s arm to him.

Who at this point had reappeared in this world with his eyes aimed straight at Malidi. ’This man, he isn’t just any scholar.’

Through his eyes of insight, Rosso did notice an immense spiritual power contained in Malidi’s body, which made sense considering he was a spiritualist by nature. Otherwise, he would have long fallen due to all the forbidden knowledge he had consumed till now.

What Rosso never expected was his physical strength. Ripping off his arm so easily? No, not even that, why did Rosso not even feel this old man move?

Horrible, he was way worse than the tales he had learned of him, even Farhad might not be able to claim such speed and lethality. More so when the man himself still appeared as a weak mortal in his eyes.

"I didn’t mean to cause you any trouble." And Rosso, knowing that he doesn’t stand a chance, bowed in apology while picking up his broken arm and attaching it back, with the blood of the Royals flowing in his veins, it was not hard for him to heal himself.

On the other hand, Farhad looked at the old man, the man who was meant to be his target all this while. The man who he was meant to free from this place.

But once he came here, something in his heart itched. It was the little cat that was scratching his chest. But Farhad didn’t dare to let it out, he just looked around and then to the Dwarves. "The flowers were the worlds from before... please don’t look at it." He warned the dwarves who were still reeling in from the sudden changes that happened in front of them.

Who was that woman? Why did she fall? Is she dead? Is that man her killer?

And before such thoughts can come to a conclusion, they witness Rosso’s movements and an even greater number of surprises, leaving them mute for a bit. Well, that was the case for most besides Gael, who looked at the old man and asked. "Are you Professor Malidi?"

Gael was employed by the Lynx clan due to his odd ability, which he awakened after entering the peak of Grandmaster for the Bear Bastards. An ability that only a few were aware of including the Dwarven Royal Family and the clans like Lynx due to their closeness to the Guardian Dragon Vesta.

But Gael had an entirely different purpose for coming here. He was greedy for Vesta’s attention, no, it would be more appropriate to say that he needed her.

Since the incident with Salvarez in Bothal, and the subsequent conflicts between the Bear Bastards and the contemporary Dwarven Society, the Bear Clan had really turned into a social pariah with the caravans that once used to visit their village turning lesser and lesser with time. The current leaders of Pulgasiri were punishing the Bears in their own way.

This made Gael and the rest of the clan finally accept the fact that the Dwarves no longer needed them.

Once their strength was envied, their member’s respected for the blood they shed for the dwarven society along with the rest of the clans. But with time and the Evolution of new battle tactics as well as guns, the whole battlefield had changed, due to the majority of Bear Bastards going "bastard" once their bloodline awakens, they can’t use any of the modern weapons or even support their companions unless they share blood.

I am going on a tangent, but be aware of this, the current state of Bear Bastards was due to certain valid reasons. And it won’t be long before the whole clan of the Bear Bastards slowly falls into decay like the majority of the leadership in Bothal hopes to.

This is where Guardian of the Dwarves comes into play. For thousands of years, she had protected the dwarves but never one clan, it doesn’t matter what clan rose or fell, she had maintained this neutrality for thousands of years until the appearance of Vekantaraman.

That old mortal, living such a small fleeting life really affected so many things. Most of which is Dragon Vesta, who broke her oath of neutrality and directly took the Lynx Clan under her, after Vekantaraman’s death.

Which created a huge controversy at the time, with many fearing the changes in power dynamics it would cause. But what can they even do?

The Will of their Guardian is paramount.

Which earned the Lynx Clan a certain level of Immunity.

’Not on the level of Lynx’s, but I still need Guardian’s support.’ So in a way, he was here to steal credits off of the Arbood and nothing more.

"You presume correct young man," Malidi spoke, giving everyone a deep look. And then he spoke to Farhad. "Come forward boy and help your friend. She seems to have suffered a spiritual blow." Malidi’s words further made Farhad’s eyes droop down. ’How did he know?’ He wondered, before looking at Remira and thinking, ’Did she tell him a thing?’ But there was no need to think too much, Farhad just spoke his part while coming to Malidi. "I wonder what is required of me to leave this place and rescue you?" He asked, before dropping and helping Remira up from the ground.

’No injuries.’ he took a sigh of relief before looking at Malidi again, who seemed to have turned silent at Farhad’s question.

"Rescuing me?" Malidi questioned, giving Farhad a deep look and then at the Dwarves at the back. "There is no need for rescue, for it’s not possible since the start."

At those words, the eyes of Farhad as well as the rest of the people turned dark.

"What? What do you mean?" Farhad asked as the clothes that covered his body slowly turned fleshy wings before unfurling themselves, exposing the little cat hiding in his chest. "What does he mean?"

A scene that scared the dwarves, who backed off seeing such an odd creature in front of them, but Malidi, just gave Farhad a simple blood, before looking at the cat. "Ignorant cat, did you think the tickets still worked in a broken realm?"
