Chapter 374: 6.11.1 A weird glass Slab.
The boy was a curious one, unlike what I had seen before.
He never spoke, for he never knew the language of this world, nor did he actually understand the real Sanskrit, but only the language that was born from it. So some words and meanings did match, but the boy understood nothing more than that.
What for his nightmare? It was too esoteric, but with some effort on my end, I could make sense of the giant dog and the bizarre tall structures that surrounded him in his dreams. But I stopped my hands.
Now was not the time for it yet. Nor was it time to deal with the mental problems this boy might be suffering from. My current priority was to escape this place and wait for the seed implanted in Hemant to bear fruit. Which I think won’t take too long, considering the situation brewing at the borders.
’Too much to do to at the moment.’ The broken pieces of my soul can handle most work when it comes to management, but due to the very fact that they are incomplete, they lack the cohesion and judgment that they should possess. Their choices sometimes differ from mine a lot, so leaving everything to them for too long would be foolish.
So I have to go back to Yethel fast.
"Hmm, what is this?" There were various items obtained from the hunt of the slavers. Money was not important, but the artifacts and weapons of these slavers were the only ones that held my interest.
Among these, the cursed doll and the monocle used by Paradi were the most valuable in my eyes.
Or so I thought until coming across a black shiny slab made of glass in his valuables. "It’s light." I thought checking it around and finding nothing special about it even when pressing what seemed like buttons around it.
"Hmm? It’s definitely not cursed, nor a Taboo item." Picking it up, I ignored the gazes of my men, I went to the slave Penn where two of our captors were kept, which included Jed, the man with banned blood, and his boss Paradi.
"Oye, tell me, what this glass slab is?" I asked striking Paradi’s cell, waking him up in the process.
At first, startled by the sound, he looked around and looked disappointed that it was me who was there alone. Knowing how crazy I was, he didn’t try to play any game, he directly answered instead, which I appreciated. "Hah... I don’t know."
An appreciation that lasted for a second at most, before I growled like an animal and asked with annoyance. "If you don’t know, why keep this mortal slab in your belongings?" I asked curious how he was going to answer.
And much to my delight, his answer was something I had expected to some extent. "It belonged to the boy."
"Which boy?" I asked for a simple confirmation.
"The boy for whom you attacked us." He answered as if expecting this assumption of his was correct. But I just shook my head. "I attacked you for you, don’t forget that," I said while leaving the room with a smile on my face.
’The boy brought something with him.’ I wonder if the item the boy brought was actually valuable.
The world of mortals is where magic is banned, the supernatural can’t exist on its land with the exception of some places. So it’s impossible for that world to give birth to a magical civilization as there is not enough of it to go around.
This might be the reason why the humans of the mortal world were able to advance their science so much and bring about a civilization that created bombs that felled entire cities. Or so Vekantaraman’s claims went.
But how much of it was true, I didn’t know. Nor did he ever tell us how much destruction weapons came into being, in fear of this world recreating them.
Which would have made deterrence so much easier.
No, why stop at deterrence, it would have been easier to annihilate Cynark from the face of this world.
’Sadly, he is just a boy, he might not hold as much knowledge as that old fellow.’ Shaking my head in disappointment, I chose to hand the glass slab to Sheva for safekeeping. "What is this?" She asked, and I spoke of my assumptions to her, which sounded a bit odd, but she nodded her head in understanding.
"If your words are correct and this thing is a keepsake of his, why not just give it to him?" Sheva asked, curious about my reasoning.
Which was truly not much, as I treated the slab as more of a keepsake as well as insurance, considering how important the knowledge these mortals usually carry.
As one of them brought guns to this world, others brought industry and in the past, some even brought entire new languages which have become absorbed in the current world lingo.
So who knows what this boy might bring here? What kind of knowledge might be hiding in his head and the danger he might pose to this world
’Sadly, his age dictates he won’t be much knowledgeable.’ That was the only gripe I had with this newest transmigration.

"Breathing feels easier than before."
"A sign that our research in your new training method is going well."
It’s only been two days and there already have been fruitful results, which was absurd to think about considering how many of the self-path never actually realized their aura due to limitations on understanding their Knight Training Method, hence making it harder for them to reiterate on it.
"The advantage of Summon-type Bloodlines, It’s why you have been faster than even me prince," David said, sighing at his fate of being the only one in this whole country with the Ice Ape bloodline.
Making it so that although he had a transformative bloodline, whose difficulty in Aura activation is just below summoner bloodline, he still had to work as hard as normal Self path Knights in order to enter the realm of Aura.
"But I can’t seem to find the trace of Aura you mentioned before, how long does it generally take for people of my bloodline?"
At such a question David turned silent.
Yes, he had trained many others in Aura and not all have been successful. But it doesn’t mean that he had no answer to this. "I’m considering comparing to someone of your own bloodline should be the correct choice in this case... but I don’t know if we should compare with her to benign with?"
"So there had been someone you trained before... and from your speech, it would seem they are much better than me?"
At Amir’s correct assumption, there was not much for David to hide. "Yes... although I can’t name her. But she activated her Aura in just a week. While from my expectation, Prince Amir might take a year or so in the best case scenario."
Amir knew that he was never talented on the path of Knights. He was just a mortal boy who found out, he had a special bloodline. A bloodline that brought him endless disappointment as he came to realize the responsibility this bloodline carried.
But from the very fact that he had achieved such strength in only a decade, he was a bit arrogant over his achievements.
It was only due to his commoner upbringing that he didn’t become prideful and instead maintained a humble attitude as he grew up to be a prince.
But no matter how humble he acted, nothing could have readied him for such an absurd comparison. "Just who is she to be so strong? Older than me?"
Amir asked again, but David didn’t speak this time. "It’s better that Prince don’t ask any further questions."
"So she is younger... truly heaven’s above heaves." Amir laughed, he really thought he had achieved something in just two days. But how wrong was he? Amir understood it only now.
"Don’t worry, I know I am not built for this... I am just learning this to make my grandfather happy." Amir said, going back to his training. But deep down, he remained curious about this individual royal family member.
He wondered what made her so monstrous. He wondered if she could compare to him in other departments.
’Just how good is she?’ He kept wondering about this alien figure. Unaware that he would be meeting this monstrous Genius soon enough in his life.
And while he was having such thoughts, a ringing sound came from the door. "Emergency?"
Due to the nature of the training, the training hall of Amir has been completely surrounded by the army. And no one is allowed to go in even during an emergency. The most one can do is ring the bell.
"What is it?" David was the one to open the door and asked with some worry, thinking if the Colony had been attacked again.
"I am here to inform Prince of an accident." Said the messenger, who first saluted to Amir who came while wiping sweat from his face, turning curious over what kind of accident it was.
"Lord Prince’s First Knight Hemant Yzdi was attacked by insurgents while doing his duties and has been severely injured."
"... Hemant was attacked?" This was not a question from Amir, he was just surprised before picking up a bottle of water. "Lead me to him." There was no need to waste time.
The work he sent Hemant on was a dangerous one. And the very fact that he had been attacked proved that Hemant might have learned something very special.
