The light of day was beginning to kiss the earth. He’d delayed his departure for as long as was possible. There was more at stake than the two journeys. He couldn’t backtrack now.

"Papa will miss you with all his heart." At this, both eggs were still. "Papa will return with your father and then it will soon be time to break your shells."

If the two understood the rest of the discourse, it was unknown, but they seemed to understand the shell breaking.

Xiao An seemed to feel the emotions of the moment, from one filled with joy, to a sadness that descended on the courtyard.

The young girl was filled with sadness and reluctance as she said goodbye to the eggs, but Xiao Momo gave his two friends hugs filled with love and enthusiasm.

To the young ger, this goodbye was like any other time before, except instead of him and his sister going for a nap, the eggs were leaving. The dots hadn’t connected, but he would realize soon enough. He wouldn’t see his two round friends for some time.

The rest of the estate was barely stirring when their plan was put into action. The genuine goodbyes were done, and now it was time to put on a great show.

The eggs were placed out of sight, and the game began.

Lee Hua with both children at his side was still a bit confused, but nothing seemed to be happening as he envisioned. There was no punishment, no reprimand, nothing.

This was a farewell for the two young masters and Master Jian. Why was he invited? For the sake of the children?

The silver haired man looked so much like his brother, like a ger, from head to toe it was hard to see any differences, but Lee Hua knew this was a fake.

’Xu Feng’ was then helped onto the Bai Carriage by Bai Mo and Xu Hu Zhe. It wasn’t strange for the raven haired giant to go anywhere with ’Xu Feng.’ The huge back basket he carried wasn’t too inconspicuous either, even as the two eggs shook within.

"Where is Xu Zeng?" Xuan Jian asked Xu Hu Zhe before he entered the carriage to join the two gers.
