The twilight sky outside the greenhouse began to cast a dusky hue over the space, painting it in shades of lavender and indigo. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the exotic plants surrounding them, carrying with it the soothing scents of flowers and greenery. The calm beauty of the evening contrasted sharply with the chaotic scene unfolding inside.

Xu Feng couldn’t help but mull over the absurdity of the situation. In the dramas he had watched, miracle doctors diagnosed their patients with astonishing speed, often merely placing two fingers on the patient’s wrist and then confidently announcing their findings.

However, that wasn’t the case when it was his turn and he was nervous. The elderly doctor in front of him seemed to be breaking all his hopes and dreams, taking far longer to reach a conclusion. It had been at least two minutes, and Xu Feng had debunked the "drama fact."

Xu Feng almost wished there was still daylight and he could take the men back to the forest to meet the Dong Ancestor. The old doctor was stressing him out. Dong Yang didn’t stress him out...all the time.

The elderly man stammered as he attempted to explain the situation. "This... madam... um, mistress," he mumbled, his words revealing his confusion and the tangled web of assumptions he had woven in his mind.

The man withdrew his hands, curling in on himself, but then tried to reach back out for Xu Feng’s wrist. At this moment, it felt like Xu Feng was in an action movie. Both Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian jumped into action.

They reacted swiftly to the old doctor’s erratic behavior. Xuan Jian drew Xu Feng even closer, cradling him as if shielding him from any potential harm. Meanwhile, Xuan Yang deftly caught the doctor’s reaching hand, ensuring he couldn’t disrupt the situation further.

The tension in the room dissipated as the elderly doctor’s nervousness and confusion were on full display. It was as if they had stumbled into a movie plot, with Xu Feng cast as the screaming character, who screams, hides, and gets a great feel of everyone’s abs.

The nervousness filling Xu Feng to the brim seemed to melt away. The situation was hilarious, and honestly, whatever happened would happen whether he was nervous or not.

He was clearly pregnant. He needed to know how far along he was, and if the child was okay, they could take things from there.

In the middle of this ridiculous situation, Xu Feng couldn’t help but radiate an undeniable glow. His bright smile, filled with warmth and assurance, illuminated the greenhouse, despite the uncertainty that hung in the air. It was a smile that spoke volumes about the love and support he had from his two husbands.

Xuan Jian and Xuan Yang, standing beside Xu Feng, exuded an air of protective readiness. He wouldn’t have to go through any of this alone.

"Forgive this one," The elderly doctor stammered and tried to find his footing.

Xu Feng continued to champion for him. His gentle, reassuring touch on Xuan Jian’s arm and his silent looks of encouragement aimed at Xuan Yang sought to calm the fiery intensity that seemed to surround them.

His men were a force to be reckoned with. They were very attractive and capable in that moment, a double, double win for him. But sad for the doctor in this case.

Moving his hand in a circular motion to push Xuan Jian to continue to question the doctor on his diagnosis, finally yielded results. With a composed and authoritative tone, Xuan Jian took charge of the situation. He posed a direct question to the doctor, "What is your diagnosis?"

The doctor hesitated for a moment, caught between his nervousness and the pressing need to provide an answer. His response carried an air of uncertainty as he began, "This madam is healthy..."

But the doctor’s hesitant words only served to heighten the anxiety in the room, and the protective instincts of both Xuan Jian and Xuan Yang kicked into high gear. It was as if they were the ones bearing the pregnancy.

Xu Feng did his best to mediate the situation, using soothing touches and reassuring strokes on his husbands’ arms. He attempted to prompt the doctor with a nonchalant "Mhmmm," but a stern look from Xuan Jian quickly silenced him.

’Fine! I didn’t talk though.’ He shot back with a playful yet indignant gaze, ’It was just a hum.’

"This mistress is healthy, but there is some confusion. I wanted to get another feel of the pulse to make sure."

Xu Feng quickly stretched out the same arm once again, careful placing it atop the doctor’s hand so he could maneuver as needed.

"Hmm," the man’s nerves seem to fade as he tried to decipher whatever mysteries Xu Feng’s body had sent his way. "The children have passed their fifth moon, and they should be healthy."

’Children!’ Xu Feng wanted time to panic about said Children, but the ’should’ made him even more nervous.

"I am unable to feel the state of either through pulse, but the mother is very healthy and the growth rate is beyond healthy..."

The doctor tried several times over, but he couldn’t feel anything from the eggs, the two eggs.

Xu Feng rubbed his stomach, it made sense he had twins, his stomach seemed as big as a pregnant woman’s belly, and a ger’s belly should by smaller—he remembered images of Xu Zeng’s ’step mother’ during her pregnancy, and Xu Feng’s belly was much bigger than hers even right before she gave birth.

Some concoctions were prescribed to treat the children, but they were already quite healthy and so was Xu Feng—cultivation in a secret space will do that for you—so he took the prescription with a grain of salt.

The old man was sent back home with Jie, still blind folded.

From the village he was fetched from, to Nanshan Estate, he was kept blindfolded, and through the entire diagnosis, he was kept blindfolded. It would be impossible to know whose home he had visited.
