The Ger's Contract Marriage [BL] -
Chapter 287: Too OP For That
Chapter 287: Too OP For That
Xu Hu Zhe’s brain was fried as he tried to make sense of the entire situation. OP, pregnant, food, raw snake, tired, sleep, ger...
It wasn’t a secret what Xuan Yang and Xu Feng would do at night. He wasn’t a married man yet, but at 16 years old, he was already nearly passed his prime. 13 to 14 years of age was the best age for girls and gers to marry, and 15 years of age was prime age for men.
Xu Feng had married late at the age of 16, and now he was 17. Pregnancy was only natural. Xuan Yang was even worse, he was now 19, with no children. Who heard of a young master who didn’t have an heir at the age of 19?
Plus, Xuan Yang was only Xu Feng’s first husband. To all those in the Nanshan Estate, and now likely everyone in Yilin town, it was known that Xuan Jian was also Xu Feng’s lover, and second husband...
If no one else knew what happened in Blooming Courtyard in the night hours, Xu Hu Zhe knew, his face reddened at the thought.
He was the one who ran their bath water, at first it was only for Xu Feng, but then it became something he did for Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian as well. Sometimes two people would bathe together...there would be more cleaning to do on those days...
What happened behind the closed doors in Blooming Courtyard was too steamy for Xu Hu Zhe.
Xu Hu Zhe’s stoic facade remained intact, but beneath the illusion of composure, his face was flooded with a brilliant flush. It crept up from the base of his neck, covering his cheeks with a deep crimson hue that defied his attempts at indifference.
His gaze, unwavering and fixed, remained trained on Xu Feng’s stomach, where the alluring and mystifying transformation must have occurred.
The difference between his impassive face and the fiery blush that painted his features created a striking image...one which Xu Feng chose to completely ignore.
Because he wasn’t pregnant. He couldn’t be because, bloodline, no one in all of Zhoujin world, especially not in Dongzhou, could get him pregnant. Even if he was a secret boss, and could nurture all the OP people, he couldn’t nurture them enough to screw him over.
He wasn’t that unlucky.
’I’m not pregnant.’ That was it. It was final. The conversation was over. Xu Feng was ready to bury the topic for life.
New topic.
"We should leave here." Xu Feng said confidently after looking longingly over the snake again.
"Huh?" Xu Hu Zhe’s brain was obviously fried at this point. The circuits were burnt out.
"There’s a lot of blood," Xu Feng innocently pointed to the gigantic beast only a few feet away from him, before moving back from the spreading crimson stain moving towards him in the grass, "There are bigger animals in this forest."
If they didn’t leave the area soon, they would likely be met with more difficult to handle beasts. Xu Hu Zhe might be a descendant of the immortal beasts like Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian, but he hadn’t shown any concrete physical signs of his lineage yet.
Xu Zeng and Xu Feng weren’t actually descended from the "immortal beasts," but that didn’t really matter at the moment. What mattered was that neither he nor Xu Hu Zhe would probably be able to fight against whatever was attracted by the bloody fragrance in the air.
Xu Feng had an idea to help speed Xu Hu Zhe’s progress along, but they needed to get out of the danger zone first...And he should take a gift to the benefactor who would help Xu Hu Zhe out.
The silver haired ger’s face transformed as if touched by the golden rays of the sun at dawn. His smile, once warm, grew so radiant it seemed to light up the entire forest around them.
It was as though he held a secret, something wonderful and mysterious, that made his joy infectious.
Xu Hu Zhe’s temples pulsed with a dull ache, his heart beating faster as he watched Xu Feng’s expression shift. He realized, with a hint of fear gnawing at his composure, that perhaps Xu Feng’s delight was not entirely borne of innocent discovery.
The intensity of that smile was more unsettling than any lurking dangers in the surrounding forest, and it sent shivers down Xu Hu Zhe’s spine.
Trouble. Trouble. Trouble.
He knew it was coming, but his heart couldn’t take it.
Xu Feng’s bright eyed gaze landed on Xu Hu Zhe after he located some broad leafed plants nearby, the grin firmly in place. He made a few large gestures with his hands, "I want a piece of snake meat this big, and one this big."
Xu Hu Zhe’s temples wanted to detach themselves from his body at this moment in time, but the ger in front of him seemed completely unaware. Instead, he moved toward some nearby plants and began picking leaves.
He obviously wasn’t going anywhere until the pieces of meat he wanted were packages well in their possession. He was the one who mentioned the dangers of fresh blood in the forest, and now, he wanted to walk around with fresh blood...
"Hah," Xu Hu Zhe sighed. The ger was clearly pregnant. Maybe he’d been pregnant for the last six months, that was why he was so strange.
Xu Hu Zhe didn’t hesitate, and moved forward to carry out his newest task. The sooner they were out of the area, the better. He needed to be even more careful with Xu Feng, his master was with child and needed to be treated with more care and caution.
"Hu Zhe?" Xu Feng asked as the two worked on their separate projects, "How was I the day before yesterday? Did I seem strange to you?"
The cautiousness in Xu Feng’s voice made Xu Hu Zhe freeze for a moment, before he continued to process a piece of the snake in front of him. He thought about the question for a moment more before his face reddened once again.
His skin had flushed several times in the last ten minutes. "Very." He answered, hoping that one word would be enough.
