The Ger's Contract Marriage [BL]
Chapter 173: Another MC?

Chapter 173: Another MC?

The power to seduce others would actually be nice. Xu Feng could maybe tempt others into giving him ridiculous amounts of money...but then again, he would have to interact with more people.

Either way, instead of getting a questionably useful skill, he was gifted with a completely useless skill; the talent for getting wet, and losing common sense from excessive horniness.

Everything was always ’special’ when it came to him.

He was a big scary monster to animals without trying, and with effort, Xu Feng was a big scary monster to humans.

Xu Feng stood at the entrance to the horse enclosure, still exposed to the courtyard beyond, the late afternoon sun casting a soft glow over the surroundings, imparting a sense of harmony to the scene.

The tall boy he called Erlang approached, his strides a mix of youthful energy and respectful demeanor.

"Sigh," Another breath of air was released from Xu Feng’s lungs before he finally greeted the boy who had nothing to do with his predicament, "Erlang."

"How’s your study progress? Need any guidance?" The attempt at conversation was a conscious effort to divert his thoughts from the new thoughts that weren’t productive.

Erlang seemed to ponder the questions, as if racking his brain to come up with any follow up questions for his master and teacher.

The boy was a quick learner. There wasn’t much he wasn’t good at. If Xu Feng hadn’t met Xuan Jian and Xuan Yang, he would think Erlang was born to be the protagonist of his own story. He had main character level golden fingers.

Xu Feng observed the changes in Erlang since their initial meeting. The boy’s physique had undergone a noticeable transformation over the past few months, a show of the care and attention he’d received under Xu Feng’s care.

With only three months of winter care and a few more weeks before the wedding, the boy had filled out. At first, Erlang looked bulky because of his big bone density and structure, and even with an emaciated frame, you could still till he was born to be large.

Xu Feng observed the changes in Erlang since their initial meeting. The boy’s physique had undergone a noticeable transformation over the past few months, a show of the care and attention he’d received under Xu Feng’s care.

It wasn’t just physical growth that stamped Erlang. His mind seemed to expand, absorbing knowledge and wisdom, although at a pace that slightly differed from Xu Feng’s own accelerated learning curve. Nevertheless, Erlang displayed an ability for countless tasks, untapped potential.

Now with enough nourishment, and extra care on Xu Feng’s part, from the moment Xu Feng realized the effects of his abilities on those who ate his plants, all the boy’s food was prepared with plants Xu Feng had raised with his abilities.

From the most insignificant produce to the cherished (by the noble and wealthy families in Donghua, not Xu Feng) Dragon Chrysanthemum tea, he made sure the boy ate and drank the best.

It was favoritism, Xu Feng could admit this. He had met Si and San first, and while all three servants consistently showed their devotion to him, Xu Feng felt almost compelled to overfeed the boy with his babies (plants he cared for).

He fed the girls produce from his greenhouse as well, a controlled amount was used in the Blooming Courtyard kitchen, and an even smaller amount was released to the main kitchen for the rest of the servants of the estate. But for Erlang, extra meals were requested by Xu Feng to San and more produce was supplied to her specifically for the boy.

Luckily San wasn’t jealous, it was hard enough to get the stubborn Erlang to eat the extra meals at first. If Si or San had been jealous, it might have been an impossible task.

In the end, Xu Feng even had to agree to San preparing extra meals with the same produce for a pair of vinegar bottles, Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian. They had small appetites when outside, but when extra meals were offered to Erlang, suddenly three meals a day was too little for the sour snakes.

But even after the conflict with the three giants, (Xuan Yang, Xuan Jian, and Erlang), Xu Feng maintained his plan to feed Erlang well. There was a barely noticeable increase in severe treatment from Xuan Jian to Erlang during their martial arts training, but the boy didn’t complain, so Xu Feng left the matter alone.

Xu Feng was still a little bitter Xuan Jian wouldn’t agree to teach him martial arts just as he wouldn’t take him up the mountains...

Without going into topics that angered Xu Feng, Erlang’s growth was the most astonishing in the entire Nanshan estate.

"I don’t have any questions," Erlang’s earnest response resonated through the air, followed by a boyish declaration, "Not yet!"

Xu Feng couldn’t help but beam at Erlang’s enthusiasm. It was a ray of sunshine. The boy’s progress was nothing short of remarkable.

From the first time they crossed paths, the transformation in Erlang’s physique was staggering. He had exceeded the initial impression of a hulking yet emaciated figure, gradually evolving into a sturdy and towering presence.

The boy didn’t know how old he was exactly, but he should be between 16 and 17 years of age this year, either slightly younger than Xu Feng, or the same age at most. Despite growing up malnourished like Xu Feng’s body, with a little care and wood ability, he’d shoot up, towering over his master now.

Watching Erlang grow, both physically and in knowledge, filled Xu Feng with a sense of pride.

The bony frame wasn’t awkward anymore. Even his temperament had undergone an earth shattering transformation. Xu Feng felt like he was looking at a young master or at the very least the son of a well of family.

The training with Xuan Jian, Jie, Bo, and the others had helped make the more confident while the studying with Xu Feng and Xuan Yang, when Xu Feng’s limited knowledge wasn’t enough, had given Erlang a boost in...in everything.
