Lilianna Norman steeled herself and followed Zaire Schneider into the cave.

The cave was large, dry, and spacious.

Carson Flores was laid on a stone platform, with Kellan Gentry and Jorge Gross standing in front, examining his injuries.

"Boss, Conner Flores’ wife is here."

Kellan Gentry and Jorge Gross turned their heads, looking at Lilianna Norman with a slight surprise in their eyes.

Lilianna Norman pulled up a chair and sat down next to him, quietly watching the unconscious Carson Flores.

On the fourth day, the unconscious Carson Flores slowly opened his eyes.

The first thing Carson Flores saw was the ceiling of the cave; then he turned his head and saw Lilianna Norman wearing a veil.
