Duke Cilantro looked at the Queen and then turned his head to look at the two kids who flinched and hid behind Yakov, their eyes looking at him warily. Not once did he realise that one day these pathetic kids will become his key to survival but things have become like this, there was no other choice left for him either.

He licked his lips with his eyes staring at the two kids before he lowered his head and said, " I apologise for everything that I did to you two, I was obsessed with my greed and did something wrong to you two, please be kind and forgive me. If you don’t then I will die in front of you, would you be able to withstand something like this?"

Even though he was apologising to the Phoenix offspring, he was still trying to force them to use such a speech against them. Bree raised her brow as she turned to look at the kids, she wanted to tell them that there was no need for her to listen to something like this but before she could Yakov placed his hand on top of the little girl who was shivering with her hands clenched on her sides.

" You need to understand that if we did not find you, then this man would have gladly watched you die," Yakov told the two kids who were hiding behind him, he placed his hands on the back of their heads and then pushed them out before he continued speaking, " You should be glad that we found you, if not then you would have died like many children who were locked in the prison. Ask yourself if you want to forgive him or not?"

The two kids stiffened and so did the Duke as he raised his head and looked at Yakov in disbelief before he cried, " First consort you..."

" Why are you screaming at me?" Yakov asked with a slight tilt of his head as he looked at the Duke with a smirk playing on his lips. " I am just putting everything in front of the kids, I don’t want them to think that they are being fooled by anyone. After all, justice can only be served when everything is put forth fairly, isn’t that right Duke?"

Duke Cilantro wished that he could spit at that arrogant face, was there any need for the first consort to speak when the Empress has spoken? But as he turned to look at the Empress the latter did not seem to have any desire to stop the first consort which made him realise that he was being made a fool by all three of them!

The little girl who was standing next to Yakov bit her lips, what the man standing next to her said was the truth, many kids who were locked in the prison were killed by this man. Even when they begged and asked this cruel man to let go of him, he wouldn’t let them go...she has watched many kids crying for their parents at night, but this man never softened in front of their pleas.

Forget about all those kids, even her brother was almost killed by this man. Even when she tried to beg this man to let her brother go, he did not let go of him if not for these people who came to save her brother, they would have really lost their lives one by one.

" I don’t accept," even though she did not want to watch someone die someone in front of her, she was not a fool to forgive a man who has caused her brother to almost lose his life. " I will not accept his forgiveness, he caught us and killed our parents, we will never forgive him!"

" I...I too don’t forgive him," when the little boy saw that his sister was saying what was in her mind, if she wasn’t backing down then why should he? He too suffered under the Duke and his sufferings were no less than those who died.

" You heard them," this was what Bree was waiting for, she turned to look at the duke and raised her hand as swords that were made of inferno fire shot out of her claws. " Your punishment has been delivered, Duke Cilantro or should I say Mister Cilantro, since you no longer have the right to be the lord of this territory."

" No, No! Help someone! Anyone!" The Duke shouted in helplessness as he looked at his knights who were subdued by the knights of the imperial family but no one came to his help. As he turned to look at Bree, the last thing that he saw was a fiery sword aiming at him and the last sensation that he felt was his body being set on fire before he lost every other sensation in his body.

As the nobles saw that their leaders have fallen and then they understood that they did not have any chance at survival.

" You all had six months to redeem yourself if I only include my reign but if I was to include my father’s reign then you seemed to have more than twenty years to do something worth forgiving," she turned to look at the nobles who were staring at her with wide eyes and fear. " However, you still did not do it. Forgiving someone who did not have even the smallest desire to make a change in themselves, I believe that will be my biggest mistake."

She turned to look at Blaise who lowered his head and then snapped his fingers as all the nobles were tied with magical restraints, one that will stop them from making a comeback. Bree waited until the nobles were tied and then ordered the knights who were standing behind the pillars, " Drag them out and have them executed."

The knights did not make a move earlier because the Queen did not order them to do anything giving the nobles even a chance to make a ruckus but now that the knights were using their full strength, the nobles felt like they were being manhandled by giants.
