Harley has been looking forward to seeing Bree being stomped by that big mountain golem but just as she was anticipating the beast to stomp on Bree, she noticed Yakov pushing her behind a big boulder before running away in the opposite direction —— her face went slack as her entire body froze in surprise why was Yakov trying to save that bitch? Even if he was doing it just for show, wasn’t it too much? Was there really a need for Yakov to pretend so much for the sake of the Queen? But why? Why did he care about her so much?

But that wasn’t the only thing that shocked her, what shocked her was that the mountain golem instead of chasing after Bree in the direction he was going, he turned around and changed his target! Now he was running after Yakov with its big feet trying to squash the man she both loved and adored. Feeling as if her heart was going to jump out of her throat, Harley rushed past the knights that were trying to aim at the Golem’s eyes and shouted, " First consort! You have to hide! Dodge it! You need to dodge it!"

" What the fuck you think you are doing?" Darren was setting the modified X Bow that they have just gotten from the magic tower when he heard Harley screaming at the top of her lungs, did she think that the first consort was a man who didn’t know what he was doing or did she think him as someone so weak that he couldn’t even defend himself against a mountain golem? " Have you lost your mind? Do you want all of us to die before we can even take that thing down?"

It was common sense that upon encountering the mountain golem one must keep a tight rein on their mouth and stay put because the monster’s sensitive hearing made it even more irritable when it heard a loud noise and yet this idiot was actually shouting on top of her lungs was she out of her mind? And even if she was out of her mind, why was it that she dragging them down with her?

" What do you think I am doing?" At this moment Harley’s brain was flooded with nothing but about the safety and concern about Yakov, she couldn’t care less about anyone else much less about these characters who hardly made a splash in the novel. Even if they were to die what was it to her? She was here for only the four men and the throne that was going to belong to her sooner or later, these extras are going to die in the future anyway, so why bother wasting a few months by living? She snorted with an eye roll and then turned to look at Yakov who was running towards the river and once again cupped her mouth as she shouted, " First consort! Hide behind that boulder!"

" You f*cking idiot!" One of the maids could no longer see Harley’s idiocy, they were nothing but weak omegas and the knights were doing their best to get that thing down by lying low and aiming its weakest spot but this woman! She was actually attracting the attention of the beast towards them, did she even know what she was doing?

The maid hurriedly went forward and covered Harley’s mouth seeing that she was going to shout once more after ignoring her. " If you want to die so much then die alone why do you have to drag us all with you? Can’t you see that the knights are trying to take that thing down? Do you really have to act so stupidly?"

However, Harley didn’t think that she was doing anything bad. Firstly, she never considered these people who were nothing more than extras and NPCs in the game, to her they weren’t even human, secondly, she believed that she was the leading lady of the book, so even if there were dangerous situations like these, she should be protected by everyone with extra care. After all, she—- the centre of this entire world was to collapse how will the world continue?

" Damn! This is going to be tough!" Darren cursed as he picked up the bow and arrow from the ground and glared at Harley. His plan was perfect, if not for this woman who kept shouting left and right, he would have taken that golem down by now! This idiotic omega! Why did the first consort bring her here?

And to think they wanted to make this bumbling idiot the Queen, if she sat on the throne, then he was sure that the entire Empire would have been dragged to mud by her by now!

He gritted his teeth and then rushed out towards the golem as he shouted, " Make sure to aim at his eyes!"

" Eagle shifters, charge ahead!" The knights dropped their weapons and immediately shifted, the ones who were eagle shifters immediately rushed ahead in the battle as they were done shifting. Darren too shed his clothes before he shifted, as soon as he shifted the sound of bones popping and muscles tearing echoed in the clearing and soon a tall ice bear, half the size of the golem was rushing towards it.

Ice bears closely resembled the polar bears except they were much taller than them and they could use ice as their weapons, which was exactly what Darren did a second later as he covered the feet of the golem with magical ice causing his momentum to pause. When the golem’s pace decreased the ice bear let out a loud roar communicating with the eagle shifters that they needed to make a move now, its roar tore apart the entire forest causing the entire ground to vibrate —— the eagle shifters were swarming around the golem like a group of bees ready to charge ahead at any moment, thus when they heard the roar of the ice bear they immediately swooped down and aimed their claws at the beast trying to tear off its eyes.

The mountain golem was a beast that relied on its tough exterior to take care of its enemy, with its strong and heavy armour it was really hard for anyone to pierce through its shell and take it down but, at the same time it had one fatal weakness and that was —— his eyes. It was the weakest part of its body and as long as it was wrenched out of the mountainous shell, he could be killed —— that was why the knights didn’t charge up ahead when the golem was rushing after the first consort, they were smart to know that they needed to fall back and aim at the eyes of the beast to bring it down, their plan was nice and it would have worked if not for Harley’s scream as long as its attention was on the first consort surely they would have taken it down with ease but ... the knights were furious.

In fact, furious was a very light word to express their rage but there was nothing they could do, in the end, they all turned their attention to the eagle shifters while trying to aim at the X bow at the eyes of the beast.

Everyone watched with bated breath as the eagle shifters swooped down and tried to scratch the eyes of the golem out of its body when they saw it raise its huge arm and wave it in front of the face, because of the heavy boulders that made his body, the mountain golem was very slow but at the same time, its strength was strong enough to push the eagle shifters with just one wave of his hands.

The knights watched the mountain golem push back the eagle shifters that were scratching him but what they didn’t see was the black current that rose from Harley’s body and shot right through the mountain golem.

The black current pierced through the mountain golem and then everything went out of control.
