Chapter 114: The Power of Peak Noble Stage
Agares woke up after a comfy five-hour sleep. Aoi was still curled up beside him, but Milenia wasn’t there.
His clothes had been changed—from a noble’s shirt and coat to simple green pajamas. Milenia must’ve helped change him while he was asleep.
Aoi was still sound asleep, not bothered at all, unlike Agares, who woke up easily from the yelling outside. People were still shouting Milenia’s name, begging for her to sleep with them.
Agares stood up and walked toward the glass window. When he opened the curtain, all eyes turned to him. Luckily, he was wearing the earring—so they couldn’t recognize him.
"Look! There’s a guy in there!"
"No doubt about it, he’s the one who slept with Milenia!"
"I’m gonna bust through the gate and beat him up!"
Things were getting out of control. Milenia rushed into the room and saw Agares standing in front of the window, watching people fighting each other just for lust.
"Agares," she called.
Agares glanced at her with a firm expression. He walked up to her and thanked her—for staying true to her commitment.
"They might destroy this house if I don’t do something."
"You want to fight them?" Milenia asked, still nervous.
"If you use your sword, they’ll—"
"Don’t worry. I’ll fight them with my bare hands," Agares cut in, putting on his gloves again.
"B-But they’re adventurers with Warrior and Officer stages. You’ll get hurt," Milenia said.
"No. I won’t lose to them."
Agares wore his gloves to hide the saber pattern on his hand. Once ready, he walked down the stairs and reached the front door. Milenia followed him to the entrance.
He opened the door, revealing both him and Milenia to the outside world. The men who’d been waiting all day got even more excited.
They wanted to sleep with Milenia, to enjoy her body—more beautiful and alluring than any woman they’d ever met.
"Finally, you came out!"
"Look, my dick’s already big and long! Don’t you wanna suck it?"
"I’ll make you beg for mercy after I violate you on the bed."
Milenia turned her face away and closed her eyes. Her commitment and sincerity were solid—she wouldn’t trade a diamond for a lump of gold. No way!
Agares smiled. His respect for Milenia grew, along with his feelings for her. That woman—she had become someone he admired and truly cared for.
He stepped down onto the porch and stood tall in front of Milenia’s house. He opened his pajama shirt, revealing his muscular body, full of battle scars.
"If any of you can beat me in five minutes, then you can get cozy with Milenia," Agares said.
"Rey!" Milenia shouted, but Agares turned to her, looking confident.
It had been a month since Milenia last saw him. She didn’t know how much stronger he’d become. But Agares’s confidence meant he had grown a lot.
"Then what if we lose?!" asked some of the men.
"Choose: die or give up everything in your magic pouch!" Agares snapped.
"HAHAHA! Fine, it’s been a while since I had a good fight!"
The rules were simple. Agares would fight them one by one. The time limit was five minutes. The enemy could use anything they wanted to try to beat him.
If they couldn’t take him down in five minutes—they lose. If they passed out from getting beaten—they lose.
The first challenger stepped up, standing face to face with Agares. He pulled out a spiked mace—he was a Warpriest. Even so, he looked confident.
"You’re fighting me with no weapon? Pathetic!" he barked.
"Come on. Show me what you’ve got."
The fight began. Milenia watched nervously, as did a few maids. But Agares’s calmness reassured them.
One punch from Agares shattered the Warpriest’s mace, shocking the guy. Then a direct hit sent him flying out of Milenia’s yard.
CRASH!
His body smashed through the wall, knocking him out cold. Agares smiled—a quick win.
Milenia beamed, jumping in excitement and clapping her hands. Agares walked over, grabbed the guy’s magic pouch, and took it.
"He didn’t just smash the mace—he stole the guy’s pouch too!"
"Damn, he’s too strong. I’m not getting wrecked like that."
"Let’s get out of here!"
As Agares waited for the next challenger, not a single guy stood at the gate. They all ran off, scared of what Agares could do.
Milenia let out a deep breath. She walked over to check on Agares—he was fine.
"How are you this strong? Did something happen in the dungeon?" Milenia asked.
"I fought a Red Fire Dragon on the 80th floor. I almost died there."
"A Red Fire Dragon? But isn’t that the floor boss?"
"You’re here, which means... you cleared 80 dungeon floors?" Milenia asked. Agares cleared his throat and nodded.
"Woah!"
Stunned—that’s the word for Milenia’s face. Not just her—the maids were shocked too. They were amazed to hear Agares had cleared 80 dungeon floors.
"That’s amazing!" Milenia praised, hugging him with her blushing face.
"Thanks, Milenia."
They went back into the house and had a warm chat in the living room. Agares left his pajama shirt unbuttoned to let out the heat—he was sweating.
"So what happened?" Milenia asked, curious.
"The adventurer before me who cleared the 80th floor—his name was Benhur. Do you know why he got stuck there?"
"No. Maybe the boss was too strong?"
"The boss was strong, but that’s not it."
"What then?"
"Benhur couldn’t leave because the dungeon didn’t allow it."
"The dungeon didn’t allow it? What do you mean?"
"There’s an iron door after the 80th floor that no adventurer can open... unless they’re a Saber knight."
"That’s right! Only I can open it."
Milenia stayed quiet, carefully listening to Agares’s explanation—it was all new to her, and quite informative. The maids listened too while preparing dinner.
"And then?"
"I opened that door and saw what was inside."
"What was it?" Milenia leaned in, even closer.
"That floor... it’s filled with Saber knights from all different generations."
"I haven’t figured everything out yet. I’ll go back there after I hit the Noble Stage," Agares explained.
"Noble Stage? I can help with that."
Agares nodded. He already knew what he needed to do—buy EXP Elixirs. That way, he could level up fast without having to fight.
"Can you fly?" Agares asked.
"I can, but it takes a lot of mana, so I can’t do it too often," Milenia replied.
"That’s fine. You can help teach me to fly."
"Sure."
