Chapter 415: Chapter 394: Troubles Caused by the Kiss Marks
This time, it seems like they’ve reached the end!
When he decided to start, he prepared to go to the end. Since he was prepared, let’s go!
When Julie Harrison woke up, it was already bright outside, but the room was still pitch black because of the thick curtains blocking the light. She instinctively thought that it was still dark outside.
Due to the commotion last night, the room was already cold, and the temperature suddenly dropped to freezing point. Julie didn’t want to see the man’s cold and serious face, so she closed her eyes again and continued to sleep.
But as soon as her eyes closed, there was no more sleepiness; her mind kept replaying what happened last night over and over again, making her heart beat wildly!
Finally, she could be at peace living under the same roof with him, but the incident last night disrupted her hard-earned peace of mind. She could no longer maintain the calmness of these past days!
"Mom, are you awake? I’m coming in!"
As the knocking on the door sounded, Julie hadn’t recovered from her shock in time to stop her son from entering. Roy Thompson walked straight in with breakfast, followed by Bianca Aretha carrying milk.
"Roy, you shouldn’t..."
When Julie reacted and tried to stop him, the lights in the bedroom were turned on. Instinctively covering the quilt, she looked toward the man beside her, only to find that he had already disappeared!
"Mom, Dad said if I don’t see you coming out for breakfast before eight o’clock, I should bring your breakfast in!"
Roy blinked his big eyes, took small steps toward the bedside, gently placed the breakfast tray on Julie’s bedside table. Then he took the hot milk from Bianca’s hand, "Mom, Dad said not eating breakfast is bad for your health. If you’re tired, eat breakfast first and then sleep."
Julie’s heart skipped a beat, instinctively following his words and asking, "Where’s your dad?"
Perhaps Roy’s continuous mention of "Dad" confused her, causing her to ask about the man.
"Dad said he had urgent business and went home, so he asked me to take good care of Mom!"
Roy looked at Julie with curiosity, noticing how she was tightly wrapped in her quilt and appeared frightened. He frowned, "Mom, what’s wrong? Are you sick or not feeling well?"
"Brother Roy, I think Auntie might have a cold and a fever. I’ll go find my mom so she can get a doctor for Auntie!"
Bianca stared at Julie, who was tightly wrapped in her quilt, for three seconds before turning around and running out with her short legs.
"Bianca, don’t..."
Before she could finish speaking, the small figure had disappeared from her sight. At this moment, Julie truly felt the urge to find an underground cave to hide in--lying naked in her quilt and being caught by two children, they even wanted to call a doctor.
"Mom, what’s wrong with you? Are you sick?" Roy ran up in front of Julie and looked at her anxiously, propping himself on her quilt.
When Oliver Thompson left home, he told him that Julie’s health was not good, and she might not be able to get out of bed for a day or two, so he asked his son to keep an eye on her bedroom door. If she didn’t come out for breakfast by a certain time, he should bring food in.
The little guy remembered every word from his dad, but his dad didn’t tell him what actually happened to his mom. Now, seeing his mom looking like she wants to run away from him, Roy mistakenly believes she is suffering from some strange illness.
"Mom is not sick, Roy, go out quickly!"
Julie was already embarrassed by her son’s blunt questions and couldn’t even speak properly. She just wished he would leave quickly. She didn’t know what Oliver was trying to achieve with all this.
What did he mean by sending their son to watch over her after causing her misery last night?
He was so aggressive last night, didn’t he know she couldn’t even show her neck now?
She didn’t know what had gotten into Oliver last night, that he even forced himself on her, and multiple times at that. It was the first time she had encountered such a vigorous Oliver. Now, thinking back to it, she was truly terrified.
With yesterday’s situation, it was her great fortune that she didn’t die beneath him!
"If you’re not sick, mom, eat your food!"
Roy ogled Julie with his deep eyes, just like Oliver, and then focused on the quilt that she was gripping tightly around her neck. It was clear he didn’t believe her words.
"You go out first, mom will eat."
Julie couldn’t bear to look at his eyes so similar to the ones that had watched her all last night and turned her head away, but the moment she did, the quilt around her neck was forcefully pulled open by him.
"Mom, if you’re sick, I’m not afraid of getting infected. Don’t drive me away..."
Roy’s words were cut short, as he stared at Julie with wide eyes; then he let out a loud scream, followed by thunder-like cries that echoed through the entire villa.
"Help! My mom is dying!"
Roy stared at Julie’s neck as he cried out in a loud voice, her neck was covered in red scars like something from a TV show about an epidemic. No wonder his dad said that his mom might not be able to get out of bed for a day or two; she was already so seriously ill.
His dad’s urgent business at home must be finding medicine for his mom with Uncle Lucas. Thinking of this, Roy’s cries grew louder, and tears rolled down his big eyes like waves.
Julie tightly clung to the quilt that Roy had pulled halfway, her fingers sweating in fear as her face turned pale.
She didn’t expect that the misfortunes Oliver caused would scare her son like this!
"Roy, don’t cry, mom is fine!"
Julie wanted to stretch out her hand to comfort him but realized she couldn’t; after being tormented last night, she didn’t even have the strength to breathe normally, let alone wear clothes.
Seeing her son lying on her crying so sadly, Julie called out for Ivy Aretha in a fluster.
Just as Ivy and Bianca reached the door, they were startled by the sound from inside--the heartbreaking cries of a child and the terrified voice of a woman penetrated the door and burst into their ears.
Startled, Ivy even forgot to push the door open; she instinctively raised her foot and jumped right in.
