Chapter 335: Sealing Array (2)
Is this man made of wood? His pain tolerance is better than the outer disciples who whines after a receiving a single punch in a match.
Chef Long didn’t elicit any pain so Chunhua though he was alright all along. "Chef Long, let me see." She wanted to see the bruises and wounds.
Haoran was taken aback when Chunhua began trying to undress him. He grabbed one of her hand and made a hissing sound after her elbow touched a wound, "I’m fine. I’m fine. It doesn’t hurt."
"It doesn’t hurt at all? Your HP is not that fine at all and that sound you made just now is very suspicious. Let me see your wounds. I know a little bit of healing skill." Chunhua insisted.
Clammy saw the Boss pouncing on her companion and became shy. He turned around, "Boss, it’s still broad daylight. Have some decency."
Chunhua realized she might tear Chef Long’s clothes that he sewed with great care and instantly let go of his robe.
She grasped both of his wrists instead casting healing skills and sending strands of qi to enhance the healing effect. While at it, her lips tilted downward as she saw the extent of the injuries in his body.
Haoran was wondering what Xiao Hua was doing but when he heard the notifications and sudden comfortable feeling circulating his body, he let her be and silently observed her concerned look.
[HP +100]
[HP +100]

Haoran felt getting all those wounds were worth it.
When his HP was full, only did Chunhua let go. "Good thing, there were only external injuries but Chef Long, next time don’t hide those wounds. What if they get worse? This world doesn’t have a hospital."
"Alright." Haoran acquiesced, a little happy about her showing concern. He caressed the spot she touched, still warm from her temperature.
Chunhua was relieved.
Because of the Dragon egg omelet experience, the two used their appraisal skill to see if it was edible or not.

[Immature Egg
-Needs the blood of a Tier 8 Fire Wyvern or equivalent material to hatch]
Chunhua: "..."
A Tier 8 monster blood? This was no different from telling them to go die.
But recalling the convenience of her Summoning Profession, she might as well, make it food. "Chef Long, let’s make an omelet out of it." Anyway, if they waited for a Tier 9 map to open, that will take a long time.
Chunhua’s stomach was like a fuel tank of a car that every intense run or fight, it would be hollow and needed to be filled up.
Haoran hearing she was hungry decided to set up a temporary kitchen, set aside the discussion about the mission after tying and disposing of the sleeping halfling whose faces were beaten badly and swelling like pigs.
Chunhua carried large stones and placed wooden planks on top to be table where Chef Long can prepare the ingredients and went to fetch water from the sea using barrels made of ice.
Before looking at the seafood she just picked up. She can’t store them anymore and Chef Long’s inventory space wasn’t probably any better since there’s a lot of variety in here.
[Salmon]
[Sea Urchin]
[...]
Looking at the barrels, she experimented a bit thought of making large ice tank to contain the seafood. Each slot can only hold 99 units but with a tank, more than 500 units can be stockpiled at the same time.
She emptied one slot of 99 units of firewood for Chef Long cooking and stored it.
[Assortment of Seafood X1]
Chunhua was very happy because with this she can save 4 slots at least.
But can she stack 99 of the same ice tank?
Chunhua tried to make another one but it occupied another slot and didn’t stack. Chunhua could picture the system arrogantly laughing in her ears, taunting, ’You cheat! You think we didn’t think of that loophole, did you!’
"Never mind. It’s still a win for me." Chunhua didn’t mind it at all.
On the other hand, Haoran picked up some broken stones and arranged them in a circular formation to serve as stove before enlarging his pan to about two meter in diameter to act as a grill. Haoran cleaned the pan first before lighting the firewood.
Because some of the aquatic creatures Xiao Hua gave him would go rot if they didn’t process them after within 3 days. Constructing an ice box only extended their shelf lives by 50%.
[Lamprey- (Time left before spoilage: 5 days: 5 hours: 24 minutes: 45 seconds)]
[Sea Urchin...]
Haoran needed to cook them and have the rest preserve. The four most popular methods of fish preservation are freezing, canning, smoking and pickling.
Clammy looked at what’s left of its bully King Lobster and how its meat was being butchered and cooked and was nervous.
Meanwhile, Grandpa Trident had just come back from inspecting the sealing site. A grave expression was painted on his face.
Chunhua stood up, approached the old man and asked, "Grandpa, are you alright?"
Haoran was in the middle of preparing ingredients when he heard Chunhua’s question. He craned his neck and narrowed his eyes after finding no presence nearby.
"Come with me." Grandpa Trident beckoned Chunhua to follow him.
"Chef Long, I’ll be back after a few minutes. I will just check on something." Chunhua said before running towards the direction of the volcano.
Haoran wanted to say something but Chunhua was so fast, leaving him to stare at her disappearing back.
The smoke caused by Chef Long’s cooking was spotted by the Ice airship and Shivani who is in control with Limnad’s Sails to steer the ship in that direction.
Following that route, as the ship drew closer to their destination. Shivani and the rest could see more clearly what happened to half of the City and their blood pressure rose.
All of their King’s statues were broken and so were the important buildings they only saw at the memory pearls.
It would take at years to rebuild and repair the damages.
When they found an area to dock, Shivani, Shillo, alongside with other five nymphs jumped off the decks, "Shana, I’ll leave the ship to you."
"Alright. Be careful." Shana waved back and had some stationed at the edge in case they spotted enemies.
