Xicheng didn’t budge and was still waiting near the entrance for Nikolai. That guy just run off and didn’t even say where he will go leaving to stare in the darkness. "He will come back. I know it. He definitely will."

His native rolled his eyes and delivered the harsh truth, "That guy is a Royal Bloodling. You might know this but those guys are wealthy enough to buy you several planets in the galaxy. So you don’t matter to him at all. Those guys will do anything they want as long as it makes them happy and don’t take orders just from anyone. What’s more, I heard rumors about that Nikolai’s race."

Xicheng was curious and turned his head to his native, asking, "What rumors?"

The native leaned closer to his Master’s ears while looking around before whispering, "They liked to drink fresh blood straight from the neck."

Xicheng was thunderstruck and covered his neck out of fear, "Are you for real? But he seems to love the instant noodles especially the spicy flavor this morning. He even finished all of our supplies."

The native shook his head, used an eerie tone, and brought the torch under his chin. "That Nikolai will drink your blood if he gets angry, Master. He just is going to fatten you up."

A cold wind blew creating rustling sounds of the leaves in the surroundings. Xicheng stood up, stopped being like a concubine wringing his handkerchief and waiting for the His Majesty Emperor to come. "I’m going to sleep. Guard the territory."

"Sweet dreams." The native bid his goodbye.

"Don’t you think that was harsh?" A native approached the native talking to Xicheng just now.

The native shrugged his shoulders, "Master must have the shittiest luck in history for summoning a Bloodling. I’m just trying to save him from being a puppet under that Royal Bloodling’s beck and call. After all, that Nikolai probably thought of our Master and us as lowly beings. I’m certain he will exploit our Master."

Xicheng returned to his main residence in fast speed and covered himself with a blanket. Throughout the night he had difficulty drifting to sleeping because the episodes of the Vampire Diaries replayed in his mind. It was until 4 am in the morning that his eyelids begin to drop heavily.

She had accumulated so many souvenirs for the Salted Fishes.

Haoran remembered the haflings that almost got killed by the lobster. If he was not in a hurry to find Xiao Hua, he would have interrogated them already for clues. But knowing that the halflings had somehow found their way in this place, Haoran thought completing the mission would be easier.

Chunhua also had a bit of stubbornness in her blood and no matter how he persuaded and tempted her with a promise feast if she agreed to the system, she rejected them with the reason of them both going back together. "Whatever you say Chef Long, I’ll be here until you finish your mission. I won’t leave you."

Haoran was feeling a mix of emotion at the moment but his heart was shaken at the moment.

He decided to head to complete the mission immediately after this. But he was unaware that his mission was not so simple in the surface.

"So it’s food." Chunhua looked at the orange tiny pearls and didn’t expect these can be made into food. Her anticipation for the next meal increased.

"I didn’t expect that the King Lobster was hanging around here. You could have waited for me Chef Long, so I could provide help."

"I met it in the treasury..." Haoran narrated what happened but didn’t mention his struggles.

Earlier Chunhua wasn’t able to check but after listening to Chef Long’s story, she immediately used an appraisal skill on him and found out more than half of his HP was gone and some parts of his robe was pinkish tint but it was washed off by water. That’s definitely blood.
