Chapter 307: Dranax VS The Fake Oceanid (3)

Ron didn’t step inside and only eyed the Mother Halfling suspiciously.

The Mother Halfling gulped while giving the door a glance. "Ron, come in."

Ron stuffed his right hand inside his vest where a small gun and quickly fire a door leaving a hole.

There was a sound of painful groan before something fall on the floor and child crying.

The Mother Halfling’s eyes widen but she quickly took her daughter in her hands. She was relieved at seeing her safe

Ron saw the Halfling and the gun in his hand. He was furious and aimed at the Mother Halfling. Rita was shocked the gunshot sound and looked over Ron’s shoulders.

"What’s the meaning of this?" Ron asked with anger.

"He’s going to kill my baby if I didn’t do what he asks. I’m sorry Ron. I’m so sorry." The Mother Halfling’s tightened her hug on her daughter. "I went out to buy fish and my daughter opened the door and played outside. My neighbour saw it and took hostage of daughter, forcing me to confess."

Their talk ended abrupt when they heard the loud rumbling sounds. They quickly went out and saw the middle-class district being burned down and the numerous golems chasing someone.

Rita saw the fire coming at the low-class district and became anxious. "Ron."

Ron quickly climbed down.

The Mother Halfling didn’t hesitate to follow Ron.

---

The number of golems she fought against should be around 52. 65% of which had chased her on the roofs of the building, the remaining blocked her way towards Dranax.

Dranax was very generous in giving her Exp and the amount of every golem gave was around forty to eighty thousand.

Interrupting the magic class’ casting time was always a priority move in every battle but these golems blocked all her attacks that were intended for the Halfling, and when she tried to disengaged they launched attacks on the buildings that was yet to be destroyed and still had some evacuees making her give up each time.

The Halflings that thought they were doomed couldn’t help but looked at the ice dome above their heads and the ice slope that appeared below so suddenly shielding them from the attacks.

The thing that Dranax was supposed to do was done by a strange looking creature!

What an irony!

Li Chunhua could only choose to eliminate them first.

[You’ve got 48, 652 experience points.]

[You’ve got 52, 652 experience points.]

[You’ve got...3, 240, 993 experience points.]

If this was the present Main Game World, she would not be able to gain so much, unless all were bosses.

[Congratulations! You’ve levelled up!]

[Congratulations! You’ve levelled up!]

[Congratulations! You’ve levelled up!]

[Player Name: Li Chunhua- Level 52 (76/ 1, 190, 000)]

Li Chunhua was worried about the weekly tide. She had a feeling that she would meet another doppelganger. Hey, Baozi! Don’t jinxed it.

Besides from the exp, the whole city was full of loots, copper coins, and golem cores, epic, gold-grade gears, blueprints, and there were even pages of the research journal!

They are scattered everywhere beside the golems’ body scraps.

Li Chunhua really wanted to pick them up but the situation would not allow her to.

There should have been more golems probably thousands of them which caused her worries at the beginning because she would be overwhelmed before she can even reach Dranax but for unknown reason, Dranax didn’t call them.

Quite absurd because Sorcerers are like mages, they like to kite their opponents and Dranax could be considered half a summoner like here, which he could use to his advantage.

Her original basic stats during the tide is [Str: 367/ Def: 297/ Sta: 91/ Agi: 321/ Dex: 42/ Int: 417].

Unfortunately, after successfully upgrading her cultivation level, the system didn’t reflect the increase which Li Chunhua assumed that maybe it wasn’t really calculating her cultivation but separately recording her progress of this world.

Eating Chef Long’s braised squiddy, fried calamari, and delicious dishes gave her 5-10% permanent boost. It should be capped at 5% but because of her class, she gained stats equivalent to 10%.

[Str: 404/ Def: 321/ Sta: 97/ Agi: 350/ Dex: 42/ Int: 459].

Consuming the Oceanid’s pure blood added 100 stats point for the four basic attribute. The Stamina and Dexterity increased by 120%.

[Str: 504 (Error)/ Def: 421 (Error)/ Sta: 116 (Error)/ Agi: 450 (Error)/ Dex: 50 (Error)/ Int: 559 (Error)]

At 52, regular player would have average individual stats of 160-180 but hers was almost triple.

From Level 32 to Level 52, she hadn’t touched her unallocated status points and it accumulated to 464. Honestly, she didn’t want because of the error mark. She can never know which areas she is lacking and needed to boost.

But there’s no choice for her now...

This Dranax just have a major stat boost...

[Advance Appraisal Skill Activated]

At 149, his stats were 450-650 except for his Int which was at the highest at 1043 and leading to his mana bar being breaking the threshold of 10,000.

After the transforming to a special boss, his stats shot up to STR 570, DEF 980, and the mana became 15,000. Though, Li Chunhua reckoned it’s not what its all in the surface.

It was not looking good for her since most of the Sorcerer Skill, especially those bosses in the novel calculates the damage based on Mana and Int.

The only thing she was happy about was that Dranax’s AGI was affected, reducing to 80.

Li Chunhua avoided the sharp pieces of metal flying around from the debris, and golems’ scraps as Dranax completed suit up.

The flames in his body melted every metal piece and blended them on his skin.

At 80 meters tall, his body cast a large shadow was cast over half of the city.

All the halflings gawked at the giant with the height comparable to the collapsed barrier tower.

Dranax enjoyed the expression Li Chunhua was making, the mix anxiousness, the bobbing of her throat as her shifted back and forth, probably thinking of a plan to escape but without a ship? Where would she go?

Now you fear me.

A gloating smile painted on Dranax’s lips currently integrated inside the golems before he rushed towards to where Li Chunhua was standing.

With every stomp of her giant foot, the ground shook producing tremors, leaving craters on its wake.

I am the King of the Golems, the Great Dranax!

The mouth of the giant golem opened and three stacks of magic circles appeared under Li Chunhua’s feet, above, and on all sides releasing chains similar to the ice prison.

[Fire Cage Skill Activated]

Li Chunhua didn’t stay and leap before the magic circle activated.

For the safety of the City and innocent halflings like Uncle Ron, Rita, Li Chunhua confronted the Golem head on and tanked all the damage while pushing the golem back to the fort, planning to take the battle to the sea.

The air rippled as her fist and weapons struck Dranax’s golem body, leaving dents and holes which were soon fixed by Dranax through attracting a batch of metal.

Dranax hiding inside grinned. The main reason why he easily makes golems was because of his special ability-magnetism.
