Dranax aimed at Li Chunhua. The flames separated into five forming a shape of the snakes came spiraling at her.

Li Chunhua quickly leapt off the tower to avoid them, landing on the building nearby but Dranax smirked at her action, "Foolish, it’s a target locked skill."

The tower exploded with all sorts of stones and metal debris flying around and the building was burning.

The Halflings living nearby were frightened and screamed while evacuating the place.

When Li Chunhua thought she had dodged it, a mark appeared on Li Chunhua’s forehead letting her feel searing heat.

"Ahh!"

She looked down and saw the Halflings on the streets screaming while looking at the back.

Turning around, Li Chunhua was stunned and leapt, just in time to evade one of the fire snakes seemingly opening its jaws and chomping down.

The roof of the building was destroyed and the things inside were ignited into flames.

Li Chunhua saw some Halflings getting injured. Other Halflings tried to extinguish the flames using the water in the river but without a proper cooperation, their efforts were for naught.

"Go to the fort! Go to the fort!"

"Run outside!"

"Darn, what is His Majesty Dranax thinking?"

The Halflings quickly shouted after the situation became dire.

This Dranax doesn’t care about his citizens?

Li Chunhua frowned and chanted the rain spell only for it to cause little effect. It did extinguish the flames but the intensity of burning was faster than the effects of her spell. Maybe because it was an AOE and was not concentrated to a certain area.

Dranax was astonished of the rain and so was the halflings. They forgotten to run at the moment and stared at the darkened sky.

A sharp screeching entered in Li Chunhua’s ears followed by a rush of heat, she knew it were the flaming snakes.

On top of that, the sounds of turbo engine drifted to her ears. As a professional iron men slayer, Li Chunhua knew that Dranax released a batch and sure enough she saw their shadows behind and in front of her.

Her silhouette flashed avoiding the hammers, fire beams, cannons, fire bullets, snakes aiming at her.

The surrounding buildings were destroyed in next few minutes. These snakes and the other pyromancy skill set everything ablaze, a sea of flames was soon formed and Dranax didn’t stop at all.

He didn’t feel an ounce of sympathy hearing those piercing cries for help.

Dranax watched Li Chunhua evaded his attacks all her life and laughed. "Let’s see how you can last longer!" The glow of the combined magic circles became brighter and five more snakes were added and buffed the fire skills with a support damage amplification magic.

Li Chunhua looked above and when she saw the 10 fire snakes joining the band of Anti-Dumpling faction.

She was going to evade but...

"Mommy! Help me, my mommy! Somebody help my mommy!" Despite the place being noisy, the child-like voice was very conspicuous. Li Chunhua quickly looked and found the source of the voice ahead. A small Halfling was dragging her injured mother but no one was helping and even pushed them.

Even she dodged, the snakes and golems would strike forward indiscriminately, if she turned either side, the place would still burn at the slightest contact.

She was always cautious on using dharma spells in populated areas but it seems there was no alternative.

The hammer turned to a spear and Li Chunhua quickly aimed towards the snakes. Dranax grinned after spotting Li Chunhua stopping. He thought she was already exhausted and even incited her further by adding another fire snakes.

The flames in the surrounding swayed wildly the fire snakes dispersed and the Golems were thrown in Dranax’s direction. Some of them crushed onto the buildings and onto the walls of the bulwark.

The magic circles in front of Dranax’s vanished and he was swept away.

A golem quickly flew towards him before his back hit the wall. Dranax grabbed the golem’s arm and command it to fly up.

Li Chunhua was not done yet and began her counterattack, planning to knockback the Halfling Majesty out of the City.

The skills came in series of waves.

Dranax hanging on the golem could not find time to cast high level spell and only used low-level ones to meet Li Chunhua’s attacks but it didn’t stand a chance against the S to SS level spells.

Dranax cast multiple layers of fire ward, shields, and barriers to absorb the damage.

A large part of the bulwark walls were destroyed. Those nymphs that were already outside saw the scene happening inside and their dissatisfaction towards Dranax increased.

Thought he did came out unscathed, the knockback effect of the wind pushed Dranax back and nearly crashed into the sea. He jumped out of the golem in the nick of time, landing on the mushy soil.

The halflings fleeing were shocked to see the high and mighty Dranax was at a disadvantage.

They all looked at Li Chunhua easily defeating Dranax’s golems, while helping the halflings extinguished the fire and their prejudiced against her reduced.

Even the guards halflings lowered their weapons against Li Chunhua and only pretended to fire but intentionally missing to deceive Dranax’s eyes.

Dranax’s eyes burned with anger sensing the mocking gazes sent on his way. In the span of his life, it was the first time he was humiliated!

"What are you looking at? Do you want me to burn you?"

The halflings turned their head away at the threat. The guards halflings grabbing their guns gritted their teeth but they were no match for Dranax and turned their attention into dispatching rescuers to the buildings and giving treatment to those who sustained injuries.

Dranax snickered. It seems he needs to use that skill again. He underestimated this one’s skills.

The golems stuck at the wall began operating again. Dranax used them to buy time before chanting a long incantation.

One...two...three...five...six...seven magic circles appeared below Dranax’s feet. The robes wrapping his body slowly burned and her his white hair became flaming tendrils and all sort of metals from the debris stuck to his skin. Dranax laughed crazily.

Li Chunhua saw Dranax’s figure as she went nearer to the fort but was stopped by another batch of golems. She raised her spear and first cut these guys arms with flamethrowers attached before severing their heads.

Beams of ice and lightning attacks eliminated the rest.

By the time she finished, Li Chunhua sensed something coming in her way.
