Chunhua’s attention was slightly disrupted when she heard voices calling out in an unfamiliar language.

Through the corner of her eyes, she saw a lot of the similar blue species and they were huddled together looking at her spear with utter fear and anxiousness. They were pointing at her while shouting ’Shivani’ and some was even on the verge of crying.

Li Chunhua: Why are you crying for? I should be the one crying from being ’portally’ abducted. I haven’t even tried a single bite of braised squid Chef Long was cooking.

Speaking of which, she wondered how Chef Long and the little trio were doing. She couldn’t cut the rope on time because her hands was full.

The priestess trembled and her throat bobbed from nervousness. She could sense that the summoned champion was not jesting.

The priestess closed her eyes before inching closer letting the tip of the spear wound her neck, "Please Champion help us. Forgive my insolence for summoning you against your will. If taking my life could quell your anger, then please take it."

The other nymphs gasped and cried witnessing the priestess bold act. "Shivani!" Some wanted to intercede and stop the priestess but the latter send them an eye signal, freezing them into helplessness.

Li Chunhua quickly withdrew her spear after she noticed the nymph priestess wanted to commit suicide. She was indeed mad but taking a life was too much. Additionally, this priestess must be the only shot she got in returning.

The priestess displayed a happy smile when the Champion wasn’t that angry as she had surmised. This just means there’s a possibility of them getting help from the Champion.

"Shivani!" Fours nymphs but carrying blue spears and bows run inside from the cave entrance. They approached the priestess and spoke in the same unknown language.

The priestess’ expression changed to fear and panic. She said something to the other lower-level nymphs and these guys let out cries and evacuated the cave through the holes on top by climbing using the vines. They were so fast as if they had done cave climbing multiple times.

"You must go too, Champion. It will unsafe here in a few minutes. Those Magma creatures from the other island will come."

A magma creature?

There were only a few ones she that appeared in the novel halfway. Could the priestess be referring to them?

The priestess tried to drag her towards one of the vines but there was loud sound coming from the direction of the narrow entrance akin to an explosion.

Rocks flew and smashed against the walls. A few of the nymphs climbing in the wall and waiting for their turn were unfortunately wounded and fell onto the cave floor suffering more injuries. Blue blood dribbled down from their open wounds.

But the other nymphs didn’t rescue those wounded and continued to climb. Those wounded also didn’t expect anyone to help them. They stood up and limped to safety.

The priestess had a bitter expression witnessing all these. "We need to go now Champion..."

"Shivani!"

At that shout, four ten-foot rock monsters covered in magma and with red veins visible on their bodies appeared twenty meters smashing the remaining wall with their big hands shaped into a hammer.

Whenever they went, they left a trail of hot lava on lava under their stony feet. The cave was soon warm.

The bulldozing deeds was an easy feat for them and just after a five seconds, they arrived making every nymph scared.

The nymphs including those armed and wounded who had yet to climb into safety scrambled to the priestess’ side, letting out Shivani calls of distress.

It basic stats apart from DEF were more than 300. The Defense was above 1000 and it had intermediate magic and physical damage immunity passive skills, long-ranged, closed combat skills, and can increased its defense temporarily by 200% and regenerate their destroyed limbs through touching the soil, rock and other mineral in the environment.

Li Chunhua: I knew it. The system would never be kind. It’s just the opening act and she already had to deal with these things. This is so tiring.

The magma golems saw the gathered nymphs and leapt towards them.

The priestess quickly cast a turbid water barrier to protect her clansmen from the four golems’ attack.
