Chapter 111: Ch 111: It’s a bad Idea - Part 2

Daniel’s senses told him that it was a bad idea to head to his mother’s location at the current moment. Something about how eager she looked and how she called for him to come closer made Daniel feel unsafe.

But his feet refused to listen to him when he tried to get away. His mother had a hold on him, and he could tell that she was not going to take a ’no’ for an answer.

"Daniel, James, come here. Let me introduce these two to you. They are..."

His mother talked, and Daniel tuned her out. There was no need for him to listen to all of this, but his head snapped back to look at his mother when he heard her last words.

"...and this is their omega daughter. Isn’t she lovely? I feel that she would be a good partner for you. What do you think, Daniel?"

The alpha in question felt his mouth open and close as he looked at the shy but uncomfortable omega standing before him. He could tell the omega was nervous and not here because she wanted to be.

An omega like the one in front of her surely had a partner, and Daniel felt uncomfortable looking at her, much less being talked about and mated to her.

"Mother, I am married - twice at that. And I also have a kid. I don’t think this is an appropriate topic to talk about."

Daniel was tired of steering his mother away from the territory she was trying to drag him toward. He felt sorry for himself and this omega who did not want to be a part of this mess.

But his mother did not listen to him. Instead of being understanding and backing off, she decided to press even more aggressively.

"Oh, come on my body. You know marriage does not mean anything in this day and age. The only thing that matters is that you are not mated. And I am sure this lovely lady in front of us will make an excellent partner for you.

Look, just give her a chance to be your partner. The more omegas you have a relationship with, the more choices you will have. Why don’t the three of you spend time together while I talk to my friends here."

Daniel looked at the shy omega he was standing with and decided to take a chance and talk to her.

He hoped she would deny this request and he wouldn’t have to say anything to her.

"Excuse me, but can we talk for a minute? You came here with some expectations, but I cannot fulfill them. Not only do I have a wife, but I also have a lover that I want to mark. So I cannot like you how you want me to."

Daniel spoke honestly, but he kept looking down when he spoke. He did not want to look at this omega and feel bad for her; he thought he would give up anything for her if that happened.

"I...don’t mind! I knew you were married and had a lover, but I still agreed to this message. It is because I am confident that I will be able to make you like me. Please, give me a chance."

The shy omega suddenly turned bold and reached for Daniel’s hand to hold it. Daniel felt his skin crawl at that foreign touch, and he quickly pulled his hand back.

"I am sorry, but I am afraid this marriage will not work out as well as we hope. Please, find someone else to marry."

Daniel spoke softly before he dragged James away. Or rather, he tried to pull James away, but the unknown omega reached out and grabbed his wrist. She was strong enough to hold Daniel in place and not let him go.

"Where are you going? We are not done yet. And we won’t be done until you agree to be mine. I won’t be able to hold back my desire anymore."

The omega spoke, and she panted. Her sweet smell made Daniel feel as if he was going under.

He realized the omega was in heat and cursed himself for realizing this too late.’

’Fuck! I need to get going now. This is dangerous. I don’t think it is safe for me to be here.’

For the first time, Daniel regretted not marking Sharon up. If he had, this would not have affected him as badly.

"Don’t worry about a thing. I can tell that you need some love and care, and I will give it to you. Now, come with me."

The alpha wanted to resist, but the pull of omega pheromones was too much. James tried to hold on to his father, but his sweet voice snapped Daniel out of his daze.

"I-I am sorry, but I need to head out now. I do not feel so good, and I-"

James was yanked from his hand, and Daniel looked up, only to see his mother standing there with James awkwardly in her hands.

"It’s fine, son. I will take care of James for now. How about you get familiar with your new omega? I am sure that there is a lot you need to talk about and get close to."

Daniel tried to protest about this, but he was dragged away by the Omega, who had a tight hold on him.

He did not remember anything else, but he did know that once he woke up, he felt refreshed and had a marked omega in his bed.

Daniel’s instincts felt satisfied, and they barked at him to be with his mated omega. It terrified him because he could tell that this omega was not Sharon. But simultaneously, his instincts refused to feel any shame over what happened. They insisted that this was normal and natural.

"Fuck, I messed this up. I don’t think I will ever be forgiven for this betrayal. What do I do now? Will I lose Sharon because of this?"
